37: Chapter 35: Porcelain Bumping 37: Chapter 35: Porcelain Bumping Tangyu had just driven the car out of the parking lot when a figure suddenly rushed towards the front of the car, at the speed of a hundred-ter sprint.
As soon as this figure appeared, Tangyu’s gaze scanned the surroundings, spotting not only this figure but five other figures as well.
From their attire, it was clear these people were definitely local thugs.
And the sudden movent of this hooligan was obviously intentional.
Tangyu hadn’t expected to encounter a scam on her first day driving for Sister Xin.
However, Tangyu’s reaction was incredibly fast, hitting the brakes hard, bringing the car to an abrupt stop.
Since she hadn’t fastened her seatbelt, the sudden braking threw Zhao Xinxin forward due to inertia.
Instinctively, she reached out and grabbed Tangyu, but even so, she was thrown by the force of her inertia, landing on top of Tangyu.
Tangyu could even feel Sister Xin’s face against her own “area”.
Such a position inadvertently made Tangyu forget everything else…
The entire incident happened in the blink of an eye.
By the ti Zhao Xinxin ca to her senses, she obviously realized what had just touched her face, and her mind buzzed as her cheeks flushed deeply with embarrassnt.
She quickly sat up straight, shooting an angry glare at Tangyu and biting out two words with vehence, “Shaless.”
Tangyu, however, had a look of grievance on her face.
After all, she couldn’t be blad for this, as it was entirely coincidental.
But seeing that Sister Xin had been inconvenienced, Tangyu chose not to explain.
After all, a man ought to be capable of “bending and stretching” as needed.
The scamr who had dashed out to stage the accident, seeing that Tangyu had managed to stop the car in ti, a half-ter away from him, paused for a mont.
But he quickly feigned injury like an award-winning actor and scread, before falling to the ground and rolling right up to the front of the car.
The other five individuals quickly rushed over as well.
One of the n, in a fit of rage, punched the hood of the car so hard that even the sturdy Audi yielded a slight dent.
The loud crash brought Zhao Xinxin back to reality.
Zhao Xinxin could clearly see that this was a scam—many people nowadays extorted money in this way through staged accidents.
So, out of fear of wasting ti against a group or not wanting to confront the numbers, would choose to pay off the scam to avoid further trouble.
It’s exactly because of this that many fraudsters have beco bolder, making such scams increasingly common.
And these people were obviously a gang of thugs, likely making a living from staging accidents.
In such a case, the options were to either call the police imdiately or invite the god of wealth.
Zhao Xinxin, already in a bad mood, got out of the car and coldly addressed the six people, “Stop pretending.
Get lost at once, or I’ll call the police.” Tangyu quickly got out of the car as well and stood by Zhao Xinxin’s side.
“Oh, quite a beauty we have here, with a temper as fiery as your bust,” the man who had pounded the car said vulgarly.
“Hmph, shut your filthy mouth and get lost,” Zhao Xinxin huffed with disgust in her eyes.
“Heh-heh, beautiful, your car hit my friend, you see he can’t even move now, right?
So tell , how do you plan to settle this?
Don’t talk about calling the police to —you want to call them, go right ahead, I have no objections.
Even if the police co, we’ll still have to go to the hospital to get X-rays and such.
We’ve got all the ti in the world, but can you afford to delay?
The choice is yours,” said the man, clearly undeterred by Zhao Xinxin’s presence.
This sort of situation is precisely the weak spot for many people.
Even if you call the cops, it takes ti for them to arrive.
When they do, with these hooligans’ brazen attitude, they drag out the negotiation process.
Even if the police know it’s a staged accident, if the scamrs insist on going to the hospital for checks, there’s not much to be done.
And by the ti it’s all over, you might have wasted an entire day.
And for soone who can afford an Audi, ti is generally their most precious commodity.
This fact was fatal.
Of course, Zhao Xinxin was aware of all this.
She had only intended to intimidate the scamrs, but unexpectedly, they were too shrewd to fall for such a threat.
With a pile of work still waiting for her at the company, Zhao Xinxin could least afford to waste ti.
“Just say how much you want,” Zhao Xinxin said coldly.
“Heh, that’s more like it.
We are really reasonable people after all; we don’t have to make a big deal out of it, right?
Settling this privately makes everyone happy,” the scamrs replied smugly upon hearing Zhao Xinxin relent.
The apparent ringleader extended one finger.
“A thousand, right?
I’ll give you that,” Zhao Xinxin said.
“Heh-heh.” The lead scamr sneered and shook his finger, “Beautiful, I think you’ve got it wrong.
A thousand to brush off a beggar, maybe.
You should know the cost of living in Donglin City isn’t cheap; a thousand won’t even cover a cold at the hospital.
I’m talking ten thousand.”
“Ten thousand?
You’re extorting , right?” Zhao Xinxin was truly angry.
She would have given away a thousand, begrudgingly accepting her bad luck.
But ten thousand?
That was absolutely out of the question—it wasn’t her style.
“Don’t put it so harshly—it’s a private settlent.
Actually, we don’t really care about taking your ten thousand.
Or go ahead and call the cops.
Let the police handle this,” the ringleader responded, insisting on having the upper hand.
His lecherous gaze scanned Zhao Xinxin’s body, and he smirked suggestively, “If you don’t want to pay, there’s still a way.
How about, beautiful, each of us gets a kiss from you instead?”
“Despicable, lewd,” Zhao Xinxin said furiously, ready to grab the phone.
Tangyu stopped Zhao Xinxin, saying, “Sister Xin, let handle this.” Hearing this, Zhao Xinxin turned to look at Tangyu with so surprise, and for so reason, she saw a self-assured strength in Tangyu’s eyes—a strength that inexplicably made her trust him.
“And who do you think you are?” the lead man said disdainfully, looking at Tangyu.
Tangyu simply smiled and replied, “Friend, even those who are out and about should follow so rules.
There is virtue in rcy.
Here’s a deal for you, as a small convenience—I’ll give you three hundred to get yourselves so tea.”
“Three hundred?”
The six thugs thought they had misheard and glared at Tangyu with rage as if they had suffered the greatest insult.
“Fuck, motherfucker, are you asking for death?
I said ten thousand, not a cent less, or today’s issue won’t be settled,” the leader barked furiously.
Tangyu shook his head, realizing today wouldn’t end in reconciliation.
In that case, to deal with these kinds of people, the only way was to fight fire with fire.
“You have a weak spleen, deficient kidneys, and a dry liver; on the surface, you seem full of energy, but in reality, you’re quite frail.
You may live a thrilling life daily, but you’re consuming your life force.
If you keep up this lifestyle, at best you’ll beco weak, at worst impotent.
If I’m not wrong, you must be a ‘Three-Minute Man,’ right?” Tangyu said.
This speech struck the leader dumb.
Although it wasn’t put bluntly, he understood completely.
How did this guy know everything about him?
The derogatory term “Three-Minute Man” turned the leader’s face green, but it was indeed a fact.
Zhao Xinxin’s cheeks flushed with embarrassnt as she glared at Tangyu and turned her face away.
“Bullshit,” the leader gritted out angrily.
Tangyu smiled indifferently, looking straight at the leader.
“Are you sure I’m spouting nonsense?
I’m sure you’ve seen doctors, but they haven’t found any problem, have they?”
The leader felt a twinge of guilt.
It had always been his sore spot.
What man doesn’t want to conquer a woman in bed?
But being a ‘Three-Minute Man’ was a permanent blot on his pride.
Tangyu’s gaze swept over the other four.
“You five also have significant issues.
If you go on like this, you’ll inevitably face serious problems.
I advise you to do more good deeds and less evil in the future because karma will get you in the end—it’s not that it won’t co, but the ti hasn’t co yet.
Take care of yourselves.”
The other five were also stunned, looking at each other with suspicion, sowhat intimidated by Tangyu’s words.
The leader’s face flickered with anger, and with a roar, he suddenly threw a punch at Tangyu.
Seeing this, the others didn’t hesitate and charged at Tangyu.
Being thugs, fighting was second nature to them, and the leader, having his secret exposed, was furious and ashad.
Zhao Xinxin’s eyes darted as she retreated swiftly to the side of the door.
Tangyu shook his head; it seed unavoidable to resolve the conflict with force after all, sothing he really didn’t relish.
However, as his opponents were upon him, he had no choice but to strike back.
He extended two fingers and swiftly ‘whooshed’ at the pressure points of the leader who was charging at the front, a surge of True Sun Inner Strength shooting from his fingertips into the man’s vital points.
The leader’s body imdiately went limp, dropping to the ground in agony, his body convulsing like he was in a seizure.
The other four reached him quickly, and Tangyu, duplicating his technique, easily laid the six n out on the ground, moaning in pain.
Seeing the situation, the leader on the ground knew things were bad.
His eyes turned cold as he pulled out a dagger and suddenly lunged at Tangyu’s back.
Zhao Xinxin’s eyes widened in alarm, and she let out a sharp cry: “Be careful, Tangyu!” Instinctively, she rushed towards him.
Tangyu had already noticed and flicked his fingers out.
The man dropped to the ground, but in the chaos, Zhao Xinxin lost her balance and fell towards him, ending up in Tangyu’s arms.
Her lips pressed against Tangyu’s cheek, the soft kiss electrifying him, sending a wave of pleasure through his body.
It seed like his luck was pretty good today.
“Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey—”
Zhao Xinxin quickly backed away from Tangyu’s embrace.
Having been taken advantage of by Tangyu twice in one day left her feeling both embarrassed and infuriated.
Yet, she had nowhere to vent because both instances were her own doing.
“Asshole, my first kiss that I’ve saved for over twenty years, and you’ve just ruined it,” Zhao Xinxin glared at Tangyu and said.
Still a first kiss—
Tangyu suddenly felt like he had hit the jackpot, but kept a slightly aggrieved expression.
“Xinxin, this really wasn’t my fault.
In fact, my face hasn’t been kissed by anyone either.
I feel terrible for taking your first kiss; how about I give mine back to you?
I’ve also saved it for over twenty years.”
“Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey, forget everything that just happened.
Don’t you ever ntion a word of it again, or else I—” Zhao Xinxin said with a threatening look, completing her sentence with a neck-slitting gesture.
“I wouldn’t dare,” Tangyu replied promptly, clamping his legs together, a mischievous smile flickering inside him.
So this didn’t count as a first kiss?
Sooner or later, he thought, he would trick it out of her.
His charm wasn’t that easy to exploit.
The kick earlier wasn’t accurate enough; he clearly needed more practice.
