A surprised yell reached Nile's ears as the woman from before spoke his na.
Nile tilted his head in confusion and stared at the woman who has her hoodie hat lowered by now.
Even the dirt present on her face and her ssy hair could still not hide her beautiful appearance.
She was not an extre beauty but in Nile's eyes, she is. In Nile's term, she's an 'Ordinarily Beautiful' woman.
She stared at Nile straight in the eyes and the shock and bewildernt could not be hidden from it.
Her eyes were shining as if a child seeing a lollipop reward after finishing their assignnts in ti.
"Nile?" She asked again.
At the sa ti, Nile's eyes went hazy as a surge of mories surfaced inside his brain.

"You got the wrong person!" Nile said after a mont of contemplation. He wanted to distance himself first and sort the chaotic emotions he was suddenly feeling.

She was an acquaintance of the previous Nile five years ago. And his mory about her was both happy and sad at the sa ti.
'Lucky bastard! And a piece of coward shit!' Nile cursed the previous owner of the body he was using after he inherited this piece of forgotten mory.

He looked at Jellan and then the Mayor Zombie, and then Jellan again.
"Yeah... that's my father!" Jellan lowered her head before nodding in confirmation. However, her voice was no longer that sad, it seems that she has already started to accept the truth.
It has been months already after all, and the only thing that keeps her hoping that her father might co back was due to the behavior it showed during the town hall siege.
However, seeing his current situation, Jellan ca to a realization that it was already too late.
"I'm sorry!" Nile uttered without thinking it. The words just escaped his mouth all of a sudden.
"It's alright. I am already starting to move on!" She replied with a broken smile.
However, the words struck Nile and it pained his heart. The words, 'starting to move on' lingered on his mind and he suddenly looked blank.
However, the Mayor Zombie wouldn't let him continue with it as it dashed with extre speed towards them.
"Nile, I've seen that you also have beco stronger. Please grant this selfish request of mine."
"Please help kill my father!" She stated with a firm voice.
Nile was taken aback and if they were not in the apocalypse and she said those sa words again, it would really cause people to misunderstand.
It was already his plan to kill the zombie from the start, no matter even if he identified it as the previous Nile's acquaintance or not. An extra hand might even help him to save so apocalypse points.
"Alright!" Nile replied as he flicked the spear on his hands.
Jellan also did the sa with a sword tied on her waist. She already discarded everything while escaping earlier apart from the sword tied on her waist.
She flicked the sword resolutely and gazed at her incoming zombie father.
However, the zombie ignored her and went towards Nile with a fisst ready to be released on his face.
