After another thirty minutes, the leader exited their ditative state as they opened their eyes. The injuries around the leader's body were still there but they were now less noticeable as so of them had already healed.
The leader stood up from the zombie's body. The leader then kicked the dead body one more ti before walking towards a corner.
It was the corner where the zombie erged all of a sudden.
The leader thought that it was strange that a zombie would erge all of a sudden in an empty room that they already checked thoroughly.
As the leader arrived near the spot, they surveyed the wall as well as the ground around it. After a few minutes, the leader noticed a slightly different surface on a wall. It was rougher and unlike the other part of the wall, it was not covered with moist moss.
The leader stroked and pushed every suspicious part. And then, a sudden shifting sound was heard when the leader managed to push a small piece of wall inwardly.
A portion of the wall then retreated, revealing an open surface that could be a door.
The leader hesitated but still decided to enter the hidden door. The leader took out another candle and lit it up before proceeding.
The door only has one path that was leading slightly in a downward motion.
When the leader entered the door, they could not help but notice damages on the sidewall. It's as if it was ripped forcefully for a huge thing to enter inside it without obstruction.
Nevertheless, the leader still proceeded and after a minute of walking the leader arrived in a huge open space.
The space was really large considering it was built underground. There was a huge column in the middle, probably as a support to avoid the ceiling from collapsing.
Before the Pangea Governnt united all of the countries around the world, a huge war was actually breaking out.
According to the leader's father, this sewer system was built to avoid the catastrophic damage that was made above ground. It was a shelter for the refugees as well as a kind of base for the rebelling forces which was called the Pangea movent during that ti.
It happened long ago and the Pangea Governnt was already thriving again when the Apocalypse Virus struck.
The leader admired the open space as they thought of the possibility that this hall might be the final shelter when the refugees retreated from the war.
However, the admiration did not last long as the leader heard the sound of slow of heavy breathing not far away from them.
Huff! Growl! Huff! Growl! Huff! Growl!
A mix of heavy breathing and growl sounds echoed on the huge hall.
And from the way the leader felt it, the growl was so close that the leader could even feel the hot breath coming out of its mouth.
The leader gulped a mouthful of saliva before slowly turning around.
The candlelight lighted the being that was standing behind the leader calmly.
A huge body that could be compared to a small giant stood there, looking down on the leader with a contemptuous gaze.
The giant figure slowly opened its mouth as a hoarse voice escaped from it slowly.
"Hooo…maaaa...nnn?(Human?) Daa...ayyyy!(Die!)"
The huge figure bellowed and without a warning, its huge fist was already moving towards the leader's body.
The fist was extrely fast and the leader couldn't react in ti. The leader was hit squarely, the leader's body got thrown like a broken kite towards the side wall, smashing on it with a boom.
The leader felt that a lot of the wounds that had already started to heal earlier were opened again from that attack. They could also feel so of their ribs being broken into pieces.
It was clear as day that the huge figure was an extrely strong existence. The leader who was already nearing Level Three° couldn't even react in ti from its speed alone.
Its power was also on another level as it managed to break the ribs of the leader who was already nearing level three.
The leader stood up from the rubbles and clasped the ribs that were broken from the punch.
The leader then looked at the huge figure a few ters away.
It was a zombie standing three ters tall. It has thick and robust arms paired with a huge fist that looks like the head of a hamr. The lethality of its looks alone was already nerve wracking.
However, Instead of being afraid, there was instead a trace of longing to the leader's face.
Tears started to drop from the leader's eyes all the way to the neck.
"I've finally found you!" The leader finally spoke after a few seconds of silence. However, there was a trace of regret and disappointnt on the leader's voice.
"But… It seems that I was already too late…"
"FATHER!"
The leader sobbed not because of the pain of the wounds they just received, instead it was a pain caused by losing soone important to your life.
"Hooo.maaan! Daa...ayyyy!"
The father zombie thundered before moving at extre speed towards the leader.
Seeing that, the leader didn't dare to be careless and imdiately wiped the tears flowing down their cheeks.
The leader knew of the zombie's strength well. The leader knew they couldn't contend with it no matter what.
After all, the zombie was already a Level Three° being and it seems that it was already way stronger than the last ti the leader saw it.
Seeing the extre speed exhibited by the zombie, the leader did not stay idle anymore as they also ran, but in the opposite direction, towards the path where they entered earlier.
The leader dropped the thing they were carrying around one by one while running. As the weight of what the leader was carrying decreases, the leader's speed also increases.
The father zombie was hot in pursuit but the leader still did their best to escape from the predicant with tears flowing down their eyes.
