When I got to the castle Dour training ground Captain Aldis was waiting for with 5 people. I was glad to see Sorex, Belrand and Ahtar show up. However I saw two others there as well. people I hadn't expected. Bolgier Bearclaw one of the people in Elisif's court and surprisingly soone I didn't expect.
I called out "Captain Aldis, I assu this is everyone?"
Aldis looked over and waved on. "Hurry up, we have so thing to talk about. This is Bolgier, Jarl Elisif thought it might be smart to send him along. Also this Noster Eagle-Eye, he begged to co along on this mission. He overheard us when we were gathering."
Noster nodded, "I'm an excellent scout still I promise. I wish to turn my life around, or at least go to Sovngarde."
His voice was somber, but that didn't last long as Bolgier stepped in. "You are Vek Frostwane? The one who ca up with this idea." He grabbed my hand and shook it. "I like the plan, but you seem a little soft."
I shrugged, "I'll take that as a complint since I co from an incredibly harsh land. Harsher winter's then here in skyrim actually. Though I want to ask, why are you joining us."
Bolgeir nodded, "Fair I suppose. Heard you ca from the north. Fewer guards here in Solitude thanks to the war effort. I would like to remove a threat that is currently harming Solitude. Less threats, safer Solitude is."
That made sense, I had recruited the other three so I didn't need there explanations. However they re-introduced themselves to Bolgier. Or at least Sorex and Belrand did. Captain Aldis turned to , let's head inside. We can discuss the plan in private.
Once we entered the Castle Dour Captain Aldis explained the plan he ca up with. "So here is the plan we have so far. Noster will put out the light house fire and you will stay here to inform Jaree-Ra that the light house is put out."
"Bolgier and Belrand will go handle those that decide to show themselves at the crashed Ice Runner. , You and Sorex and Ahtar will then follow Jaree-Ra to their hide out. That's where we storm the Black Blood Lair arresting them."
I rubbed my beard in thought. It was a good plan, except I knew where the hide out was. We didn't need to follow him. Besides what if he doesn't go to the black blood lair right away? "The first part of the plan is solid and I think it is smart to send Bolgier and Belrand to the Ice Runner. Truth is where I co from I was an information gatherer. So I actually already found the lair. We can arrest Jaree-Ra and use him as bait for the Black Bloods when we storm their lair. After all I doubt they will be so loyal to each other."
The 6 n were surprised, "You already found the Black Blood's lair? How? Where is it?"
I smirked, "A cave nad Broken Oar Grotto, its along the northern coast. Directly Northwest of the Solitude Light house. Ironic isn't it?"
Aldis laughed, "Go figure! We had n scout out that way. However it always turned up empty. Now it makes sense why, they were using the Light house itself as a cover. Easy to hide in plan sight."
Bolgier nodded, "Explains how Jaree-Ra would slip out of the city and et them too. The docks have a shortcut straight through the mountain side."
Ahtar asked then, "Why don't we just arrest Jaree-Ra now then?"
Before anyone could answer Sorex was the on that responded. "Deeja would notice. She needs to have left the city first. In fact I don't think we need to jeopardize the Ice Runner at all. I have an idea. You said that we could predict where the Ice Runner would crash right? Well wouldn't they predict it as well?"
I nodded, "You an we could ambush them. We be taking a major risk. If they are just moving in the cover of night after the ship crashes."
Bolgier spoke up, "Actually that's not a bad idea. Let ask you, how would they transfer the loot to their hide out?"
I smirked, "By boat! They will use boats to follow the Ice Runner! That ans we can track them. We will will have to be extrely coordinated though."
Belrand spoke up, "I guess this is a good ti to ntion I can use the Candlelight spell."
I smiled, "So can I. We have our thod of coordination. and Belrand can act as signal flares."
Captain Aldis nodded, "This is good. Revised plan then, Noster puts out the light house. Bolgier, Belrand follow Deeja and ultimately the black bloods by boat. Vek will inform Jaree-Ra about the the Lighthouse. Once done he will et Ahtar and Sorex at Broken Oar Grotto."
He continued, "Vek, Ahtar and Sorex will raid the Black Blood hide out. All the while I arrest Jaree-Ra before he leaves the city. I'll make up an excuse about sothing missing from the dockyard and we are searching all the workers."
Aldis paused, "Wait here."
He moved and entered a different room. When he ca back he held a staff. He explained, "This is a staff of magelight. Upon any interception we cast the candlelight or magelight as a signal flare. Noster you will need to pay attention to the waters for Belrand's Signal. Upon his candlelight you relight the lighthouse."
I nodded, "We raid the Black blood lair upon the relighting of the lighthouse. Once done I will signal with my own candlelight. Noster will then et back with Captain Aldis."
Everyone nodded, Bolgeir added, "Sounds like a plan. I have a personal boat at the docks. It is to escort Elisif out of the city if anything were to happen. However this would be a good ti to use it."
We all had grins, "Let's split up and get to work then shall we?"
