That woman sure had so gall, contrary to how she looked. If I were to translate her words, she wanted to get an easy job as a market employee instead of owning a stall because she couldn’t sell stuff on her own. She was using my precarious situation, which she was partially responsible for, to get herself into a comfortable position with an easier and more stable job than she currently had.

She was crazy to think I would ever accept such a deal.

“You’re out of your mind. Scram before I call the police.”

“W-Wait! I’ve got two daughters to feed at ho! This is a good proposal for everyone!”

“Police! Police! I’m being harassed here! Please help!”

The desperate woman looked around in fear and left in a hurry, stopping her useless speech once and for all. Of course, this new argunt affected my situation even worse. If only a few people had co to buy food before, no one was coming anymore.

I waited for a bit longer, but there was no change. Since there was no point in staying there, I packed the leftover food in my storage and teleported to Suuru’s house.

Fortunately, she looked a little bit better now. She was in her bed, reading a book she recently acquired with her higher inco.

“You ca back early, Tila.”

“Yeah… How are you feeling?”

“I’m fine now. I’m sorry for worrying you.”

“Don’t mind it.”

I hugged her, and she responded positively to my gesture. After a few seconds of silence, she asked .

“What happened in the market?”

There was no point in hiding the situation from her.

“Well… I think we lost most of our clients. No one’s coming to buy our food anymore.”

“I see… As expected.”

She dropped her head, but I didn’t let her get depressed again.

“I think this business isn’t viable in the short term anymore. Don’t worry, we’ve got other possibilities.”

“Are you talking about the selnic workshop?”

“That’s right. We can go forward with that idea, but that’s not all. If we can’t sell food in 82, we can sell it in another do. Like do 6, for example. No one would know who you are there, so you won’t get into the sa troubles.”

“Oh… I hadn’t thought about that. But yes, with your teleportation spell, it’s not impossible.”

“Right. You’ll need to rely on

to go back and forth, which is inconvenient, but it’s a possibility we have. Actually…”

I paused for a mont to show I was going to talk about sothing serious.

“I’ve been thinking about it for a while. Why don’t we move out of 82 once and for all?”

“Move out? But… I’ve lived here all my life.”

“So what? In my world, people move from city to city all the ti. A lot of them even move to other countries or other continents. There’s even one rare case of soone moving to another planet.”

I smiled mischievously. She gave a small grin back.

“Hehe, Yes, I’ve got to know that rare person.”

“How lucky of you.”

“Yes… Maybe you’re right. It’s not like I haven’t thought about it, but I never had the ans to do it. There was this land and the house from my mothers, too.”

“Take your ti and think about it. There’s no need to stay in a place that hurts you so much, is there?”

“Yes… Where would we go instead?”

“We can go anywhere we want. Any do, or any city in the outer world. Personally, I’ve been considering the bunnies’ village. I think they’re good people.”

“The bunnies… Yes. I like them a lot. They were very nice to .”

“Just think about it. Have you decided about the workshop?”

“I hadn’t, but after talking with you, I think we should go forward with it.”

“Are you sure? I won’t force you.”

“I’m sure. If we must leave, maybe we should just transform the house into a factory.”

“Well, we can think about it when the ti cos. If you’re certain about your decision, I’ll move forward with building a simple workshop as soon as possible.”

“All right, let’s do this. Maybe I can help a little with my tal molding.”

“That would be nice. I was thinking of buying cheap materials in the outer world since everything is so expensive here.”

“That’s a good idea.”

“It’s decided. Let’s take it easy for the rest of the day and start from tomorrow.”

I lay next to her on the bed, and she snuggled up to . Soon after, she resud reading while I did the sa on my side, taking a book out of my storage. The books I possessed were mostly from the dos since books were luxury goods in the outer world. I still owned a few of them, which resembled pieces of art, far from the bulk-printed copies I was used to. The content was also interesting. Since books were so hard to co by, only those who wanted to pass on so important knowledge wrote them. There was very little nonsense in the content, even though that didn’t an everything written was the truth.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing, calming down our spirits after the sudden failure of our improvised business, which was now my second setback in the inner world. I wasn’t too worried. Not only did we have a lot of ti, but there would be a ti when we would achieve sothing stable. It was all about trying until we reached that point.

The next morning, I made my way to 82’s city hall. In a place where Rylnet didn’t exist and newspapers weren’t that popular due to a lack of corresponding news, all things related to recruitnt and job advertisents happened in the central place that was the city hall, and more specifically, on a series of large boards where people posted announcents. I normally would have been directed there when I initially asked if there was a job available the first ti I ca to the city hall, except that I didn’t know the language, and as such, wouldn’t have been able to read the ads.
