Ava Sterling slept all the way back to the dostic flight and got off the plane.

At this ti, it was exactly six o’clock in the morning in the country, the sky was bright, the skies blue, and the clouds white—a brand new day.

Ava Sterling felt good and turned on her phone.

Unexpectedly, as soon as she turned it on, she received a ssage.

Seeing the sender’s na, Ava Sterling raised her eyebrows, a hint of pride flashing in her eyes, and opened the ssage.

Poe Vaughn: [Sunday.]

Those brief two words fully embodied the saying "brevity is the soul of wit."

But Ava Sterling wasn’t displeased; on the contrary, she was extrely satisfied.

Because she had received a definite answer.

This was the kind of answer she wanted.

Glancing past the ssage to the calendar, she noted it was Friday, just two days until Sunday.

Plenty of ti!

Stowing her phone, Ava Sterling cheerfully headed to the parking lot, tossed her suitcase into the car, and said to Lauren Howell, "Don’t bother these next two days if there’s nothing important."

With that, she got into the car and started the engine.

In no ti, with a roar, the car sped out of the parking lot.

Lauren stood there, mouth agape, watching the car disappear in the blink of an eye. Her mouth moved several tis before she finally uttered a sentence.

"Ava, what’s gotten into you...?"

She had a feeling sothing was about to happen, leaving her feeling uneasy...

Ava Sterling drove straight back to the Green Mountain Villa, swiftly took her luggage upstairs, and told Sister Wei, "Sister Wei, I’m going out for a bit. I won’t be back today, I’ll return tomorrow."

Sister Wei hadn’t expected Ava Sterling to return suddenly, but since she was already tidying up the house at this hour, she imdiately headed to the kitchen to make breakfast upon seeing Ava.

However, just as she tied her apron in the kitchen, she heard Ava’s words.

"Is Madam back only to leave again on another business trip?" Sister Wei stepped out, looking at Ava Sterling, who was quickly descending the stairs, and asked.

"No, I’m going to buy so things."

"But the place to buy them is a bit far, so I can’t co back today."

"Oh, I see, alright, Madam."

"Next ti you return, let know in advance, and I’ll prepare so food for you."

"Sure!"

Ava Sterling finished speaking hurriedly, went downstairs, and got into the car.

In no ti, the car sped out of the villa.

Sister Wei stood at the door, watching the car disappear in the blink of an eye, a smile on her face.

Our Madam is really one to act with precision and speed.

Ava Sterling drove to The Kestrel Apartnts, switched cars, and then headed directly to the airport—she was returning to Varden.

The thing she wanted could only be bought in Varden.

To be precise, it was a small county belonging to Varden, then a small town belonging to the county, and a small village belonging to the town.

That was her roots.

The place where she grew up as a child.

She got on a plane to Varden, transferred in between, and by the ti Ava Sterling actually arrived in the village, it was already close to five o’clock.

As she had called ahead, Ava Sterling went straight to soone’s ho.

The ho of an aunt of hers.

"Ava, you’ve co back?"

Her aunt was returning with a load of firewood on her back and was delighted to see her.

Ava Sterling smiled and ran over, "Aunt Six!"

"Haha, quickly, have a seat."

Grace Howell lowered her basket, and Ava helped her.

Grace Howell laughed, "No need, no need."

"It’s okay, let help you."

"Haha, you haven’t changed a bit, have you?"

Setting the basket down, Grace Howell looked her up and down, then frowned, "Why are you still so thin? Haven’t you been eating properly?"

"Oh, I just don’t gain weight no matter how much I eat, it’s completely normal."

"Aunt Six, are the things ready?"

"They’re all prepared."

"After you called, Aunt Six got everything ready."

"Co, Aunt Six will show you."

Grace Howell took her to the main room and opened a cardboard box placed against the wall, "Take a look."

Ava Sterling imdiately squatted down to check. The box was filled with eggs—chicken eggs, duck eggs, and goose eggs. They were large, yet spotlessly clean.

Clearly, they had been washed and wiped.

Ava’s face lit up with a brilliant smile, "Thank you, Aunt Six!"

"Haha, no need to thank , you needed them in a hurry, otherwise, there would be more."

"More than enough, these are plenty."

After hearing from Sister Wei about the old lady’s preferences that night, Ava Sterling had called Grace Howell, asking her to prepare these things.

Once Grace Howell hung up Ava’s call, she imdiately prepared these eggs—laid by her own chickens, ducks, and geese, fed with grains rather than feed.

The grains they eat are pesticide-free, truly all natural.

Stuff not easily bought elsewhere.

Sister Wei had said the old lady had no particular likes, and Poe Vaughn hadn’t lied to her; when Ava Sterling thought it through, there was nothing that the matriarch of such a big family couldn’t get.

What could she possibly want and not have?

So, Ava thought it over and figured she’d focus on food.

As they say, "illness enters through the mouth," so what one eats is critically important.

Naturally, these all-natural items were better.

Originally, she thought about bringing live chicken, ducks, and geese, but unfortunately, live animals couldn’t be brought on a plane, and if they were slaughtered and shipped to Aurelia, they’d not be fresh, and there wouldn’t be enough ti.

These were the only options.

"Tomorrow morning, I’ll cut so in-season vegetables for you to take with you," Grace Howell said with a smile.

Ava Sterling shook her head, "I’m in a hurry this trip, can’t take them back, forget the vegetables, you keep them to eat."

Grace Howell frowned, "It’s rare for you to co back, just take so, it’s not much."

"I’ll get you a small amount, easy to carry."

Ava Sterling really wanted to take them, but flying made it truly difficult.

If only she could drive herself.

But from Varden to Aurelia was more than two thousand kiloters, even in smooth conditions, it would take over twenty hours by car.

She couldn’t handle it alone.

As Ava Sterling kept thinking, suddenly, a light bulb lit up in her mind.

She imdiately said to Grace Howell, "Aunt Six, you go ahead, I’ll make a call to see if there’s a way to take them."

"Alright!"

"If there’s a way to take them, that would be fantastic!"

"You make your call, Aunt Six will go cook, your Uncle Six should be ho soon too."

"Okay."

Grace Howell quickly headed to the kitchen to make dinner and called Ava Sterling’s Uncle Six, letting him know Ava was back and asking him to co ho early.

anwhile, Ava Sterling took her phone outside to a path and called Poe Vaughn.
