The doctor’s words allowed everyone to finally relax, feeling grateful and relieved.
Poe Vaughn’s expression remained unchanged, and he asked the doctor, "When will grandpa wake up?"

The doctor replied, "He won’t wake up today. Let’s see about tomorrow."

The doctor was an old doctor, a cardiac specialist, soone Poe Vaughn was familiar with, to be precise, soone Sharon Sheridan was familiar with.
After learning about the old man’s situation, Poe Vaughn called Sharon Sheridan, who then personally contacted the doctor.
Very quickly, the old doctor ca over and perford the surgery on Mr. Rhodes personally.
Now that the surgery went smoothly, it was largely thanks to the old doctor.

Poe Vaughn’s gaze fell on the old man’s pale face, the incident made the old man suddenly age a lot, losing the vigor he once had.
Hearing Chandler’s words, Poe Vaughn retracted his gaze and replied, "I’ll go with you."
Chandler paused, looking at this profoundly mindful person, then nodded, "Alright, we’ll go together."

Soon, only Shannon Rhodes, Zeke, and June Rhodes remained.
Mr. Rhodes had a total of seven children, four sons, and three daughters. Now Yvonne Rhodes wasn’t present, and Hayden was on the other side, leaving only the youngest, Heath Rhodes.
Heath was abroad, currently on a flight back.
The rest of the sons and daughters were there.
With the door closed, the once cramped room felt much more spacious. June bent over, leaning close to the old man’s ear and whispered, "Dad, Poe ca to see you today."
"When the child heard you were sent to the hospital, he ca over imdiately and stood by you, guarding for several hours."
"This child is a good one, you must wake up soon."
It was unknown whether Mr. Rhodes could hear June’s words, but at this mont, June wanted the old man to hear this and hang on a little longer.
Shannon also bent down, following June, "Yes, Dad, young Poe seems cold, but his heart is warm."
"He knows who’s good and who’s bad; he didn’t hold his grievances against us because of Hayden."
Though Poe Vaughn didn’t say much when he ca, speaking very few words, and barely called anyone out.
That alone was enough for them.
To have a child that wasn’t raised close by act like this, it’s already very good.
Zeke added, "Young Poe is great."
"Dad surely knows and will get through this."
June and Shannon’s eyes slightly reddened.
At such an old age, having to go through this, especially caused by their own, was really uncalled for.
They were negligent.
The ward beca quiet, and outside, as people walked farther away, they quietly talked.
This matter couldn’t be left unsettled; so explanation would have to be given.
However, everything couldn’t be rushed, and still, they had to wait for Chandler to co back and decide.
The Rhodes family was very united, not impulsive types.
