[What are we talking about?]

An extrely concise response, not one word more or less.

Ava Sterling widened her eyes. She asked him when he had ti, and he asked her what to talk about. Didn’t he understand her question?

Ava was annoyed and quickly opened the input box, ready to reply to Poe Vaughn imdiately, but just then, "Knock, knock."

The sudden knocking on the door made Ava’s face dark.

Coming to her when she’s upset—does he think she needs sowhere to vent her anger?

Ava couldn’t be bothered to reply to Poe Vaughn anymore and just tossed her phone aside and said, "Co in."

She crossed her arms, her long legs crossed, looking extrely displeased at the dressing room door.

anwhile, outside the door...

Silas Donovan was overjoyed upon hearing Ava Sterling’s voice.

He had just run into Lauren Howell when he got off the elevator and imdiately asked Lauren where Ava was.

Lauren promptly told him that Ava was in the dressing room, specifying the location, and urged him to hurry, not to delay.

You must strike while the iron is hot; otherwise, there’s a worry that Ava might change her mind.

So, Silas wasted no ti and rushed over.

He was so excited that he almost barged in without knocking.

Luckily, he reacted quickly, stopping just as he was about to open the door, forcing himself to calm down. That managed to hold back his urge to charge in.

But now, upon hearing Ava’s voice, that calmness collapsed instantly. He didn’t care about anything else and pushed the door open, entering with zero composure.

"Miss Sterling, we finally et again!"

Upon seeing Ava sitting on the sofa, Silas rushed over, stood in front of her, and rubbed his hands excitedly, his eyes squinting from joy.

He was beyond pleased!

Ava looked at the person in front of her, who seed about to take off from excitent, and said, "Sit."

"Oh, oh, oh!"

Initially, Silas didn’t grasp it, but upon seeing Ava’s expressionless face, he understood her cue.

Ava wanted to discuss the collaboration.

He was thrilled!

Silas glanced around, spotted a chair in the corner, and quickly grabbed it to sit down.

He sat in front of Ava.

The chair wasn’t low at all, definitely higher than the sofa, so as soon as Silas sat down, he appeared much taller than Ava.

Yet, Ava’s aura wasn’t overshadowed at all.

She just sat there, with an expressionless face, dominating everything.

Silas, however, found sitting that high sohow uncomfortable, so he moved the chair, trying to find a smaller one.

He didn’t mind finding, amidst the clutter in the corner, a small animal-shaped stool—who knows which child had used it. He imdiately brought it over and sat in front of Ava, ignoring the dust on it.

Sitting down, he was no longer taller and could just look up and directly see Ava.

The angle was perfect, clearly showing Ava’s irritated brow.

Silas’s eyes squinted with a smile.

Ava looked at the foolishly smiling person, dressed in the sa wrinkled, oversized T-shirt and equally crumpled knee shorts as before, dirty flip-flops, and ssy hair.

He looked like he’d co straight from a ntal hospital, nothing like a renowned director.

Ava found Silas’s appearance a bit shabby, quite an eyesore really.

But she said nothing, rely shifting her gaze, planning to wash her eyes by looking at Poe later that evening.

Otherwise, she’d have nightmares.

"About the filming you ntioned earlier, explain it in detail."

Ava spoke with queen-like authority, not at all like soone about to act but more like a boss, not the exploited underling.

When she spoke, Silas imdiately sat up straight, his smile vanished, becoming very serious and earnest.

"Right!"

"The script is based on your persona."

Ava frowned instantly, "My persona?"
