She looked at the person sitting at the dining table, her gaze resting on his thick, jet-black hair, then slowly sliding down to his beautiful, fair ears. It was said that people with long and thick ears are especially blessed, and his ear shape is quite good too—no oddities or peculiarities, just exceptionally handso at first glance.

Fair-skinned, and most importantly, his ears are higher than his eyebrows!

Ava Sterling’s eyes instantly brightened.

Ears higher than eyebrows indicate intelligence!

If she had a child with him, wouldn’t these advantages be inherited?

As Ava Sterling pondered, the image of the little doll from her dream last night resurfaced in her mind, causing her heart to beat wildly once more.

She had never felt such a strong urge to have a child...

Her gaze fell on him, initially just watching, then burning with intensity. Poe Vaughn lifted his eyes slightly, looking at the person standing at the stairway.

Her long hair was pinned up with a hairpin, leaving so strands loose, yet it was quite natural, even carrying a hint of laziness.

She wore a long gown with shoulder straps down to her calves, in blue and white porcelain, with the pearl necklace he gave her around her neck. Perhaps because of the morning chill, she put on a white cardigan.

She wasn’t wearing makeup, just so simply clean and neat, even her eyebrows were naturally beautiful with a crescent shape, very lovely without needing enhancent.

She looked at him, her eyes exceedingly bright, sparkling with a strong light, as if she was wanting to do sothing, excited and thrilled.

Poe Vaughn fixed his gaze on her eyes, concentrating.

He had never seen Ava Sterling like this.

"Mrs. Awake?"

The housekeeper, Mrs. Wei, ward Ava Sterling’s breakfast and ca out of the kitchen, surprised to see Ava standing at the stairway.

But quickly, she smiled and said, "Sir just asked to keep Mrs.’s breakfast warm so she could eat once awake. Didn’t expect Mrs. to wake up."

"I’ll bring the breakfast out now."

Mrs. Wei promptly returned to the kitchen with a smile and brought out breakfast.

Hearing Mrs. Wei’s words, Ava Sterling’s gaze toward Poe Vaughn beca even brighter.

Did he specially ask Mrs. Wei to warm her breakfast?

Perhaps he doesn’t dislike her so much after all?

At this mont, Ava Sterling’s heart fluttered with excitent, noticing him retracting his gaze.

He had just looked at her.

Ava Sterling imdiately pursed her lips in a smile, quickly descending the stairs to sit across from Poe Vaughn.

Mrs. Wei placed the soy milk in front of Ava Sterling, along with the slow-cooked bird’s nest egg custard, stead dumplings, and dishes, all her favorites.

"Mrs., enjoy your breakfast."

Ava Sterling sat in her chair and gazed at Poe Vaughn with a radiant smile, like the sunshine outside, shining brightly on Poe Vaughn.

Upon hearing Mrs. Wei’s words, Ava Sterling said, "Alright, thank you, Mrs. Wei."

"Hehe, Mrs. is polite. It’s all at Sir’s instruction."

With that, Mrs. Wei smiled, glancing at Poe Vaughn who remained quietly eating.

Ava Sterling imdiately turned to look at Poe Vaughn, nodding: "Yeah, yeah! Hubby is the best!"

Poe Vaughn paused in the action of picking up the cup to drink soy milk.

Seeing his hesitation, Ava Sterling’s eyes curved into crescent moons with her smile: "Hubby, you look very handso today~"

Poe Vaughn, after that pause, continued drinking soy milk, acting as if he hadn’t heard Ava Sterling’s complint.

However, as he took a sip of soy milk and was about to swallow, that sweet voice fell into his ears.

At this mont, he froze.
