The gentle spring breeze turned into autumn and winter.
Honestly, the person sitting in the office was soone she completely didn’t expect, she even forgot about across the Pacific Ocean.
Silas Donovan saw Ava Sterling, his eyes lit up, and he quickly ca over, saying with utmost excitent and exhilaration, "Miss Sterling, you’re awake?"
He couldn’t see Ava Sterling’s darkened face at all and remained so cheerful.
Last night, Ava Sterling’s words to Silas Donovan were completely an excuse, not true.
But to her surprise, he actually took it seriously and ca to the company so quickly; it was clear he was waiting for her here. Ava Sterling’s mood instantly hit rock bottom.
She looked at Eric and said directly in a cool tone, "Let’s go talk outside."
After speaking, she turned and walked away.
Silas Donovan was stunned for a mont, then quickly caught up, "Miss Sterling, didn’t you say you’d contact once you were awake? Are you still not awake?"
The noisy voice buzzed in her ear, annoying Ava Sterling greatly. She bluntly said, "I said I’d contact your mom, not you!"
"Huh?"
Silas Donovan was dumbfounded on the spot, not comprehending what Ava Sterling ant.
After speaking, Ava Sterling quickly left, putting distance between her and him.
What a hassle!
Silas Donovan stood there, pondering about contacting his mom. Did Miss Sterling ever ntion this?
But before he could figure it out, Ava Sterling had already walked far, leaving him with no ti to think. He hurriedly chased after her, "Miss Sterling, wait for !"
"Are you still not awake? If not, how about you get more sleep? I’ll wait until you’re awake and then we’ll talk!"
Silas Donovan swiftly rushed in front of Ava Sterling, blocking her path. Ava Sterling’s face turned like the King of Hell, pointing at him, "You stay right there!"
Silas Donovan froze instantly, standing there not daring to move.
Ava Sterling glared at him fiercely, "I’m in a bad mood now, don’t provoke !"

Silas Donovan felt wronged at once.
How did she get into a bad mood?
She seed to be in a good mood just now...
Silas Donovan, looking like he was about to cry, gazed at Ava Sterling, rendered speechless, making people feel deeply sorry for him.
But Ava Sterling wasn’t going to feel sorry. Seeing Silas Donovan finally quiet down, she swiftly left, got into the elevator, and quickly pressed the button for the ground floor, then called Eric.
Eric, who was reprimanding employees in the office, was interrupted by Ava Sterling’s arrival, which dispersed her anger, so she dismissed the employees.
At that mont, her phone rang. She picked up the phone, seeing it was a call from Ava Sterling, she instantly knew what it was about.
Eric answered the call, "Ava."
"Co downstairs, quickly!"
Ava Sterling directly commanded and hung up the phone, leaving Eric both amused and helpless.
She was obviously avoiding Silas Donovan, but Silas was probably not easy to avoid.
Eric knew Ava Sterling’s thoughts, and also knew her temper, so she didn’t delay and left the office heading for the elevator.
But unexpectedly, as soon as she ca out, she saw Silas Donovan standing pitifully in the corridor, looking at where Ava had disappeared. He seed so forlorn.
The employees all saw Ava Sterling’s outburst and finally breathed a sigh of relief.
This was their Supermodel Sterling, their Queen Sterling, after all, the earlier smile like a spring breeze had been a complete illusion.
Seeing everyone watching Silas Donovan with sympathetic expressions, Eric’s face turned stern, saying, "What are you looking at? Are you all very idle?"
Eric’s words imdiately snapped everyone back to reality, and they hurriedly buried their heads in work, not daring to look around anymore.
Upon hearing Eric’s voice, Silas Donovan imdiately looked over, asking for help, "Eric, what happened to Miss Sterling?"
"She was clearly so happy before, why did she suddenly beco angry? She doesn’t even want to talk to anymore, what should I do?"
Eric thought of saying that she was angry because of him, but seeing Silas Donovan’s look, she felt a slight stir of thought and said, "It’s nothing, that’s just how she is, emotions change quickly. You go back first, once she cools down, I’ll notify you."
"Really?"
Silas Donovan instantly felt enlightened, his eyes brightening several degrees.
"Really, when have I ever lied to you?"
"Never, never, if it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t even know where Miss Sterling lives. I’ll go back and wait for your news, let’s keep in touch by phone!"
"Sure."
Silas Donovan quickly left, full of confidence.
Eric watched his departure and also headed to the elevator, entering it.
In fact, it was she who had told Silas Donovan Ava Sterling’s ho address and the places she frequently visited, encouraging him to lie in wait.
This was all done intentionally, not to harm Ava Sterling, but because she hoped Ava would give it a try, to take a different path.
Silas Donovan is a film fanatic; every movie he directs is top-notch, a sure hit. Many practically scramble their brains trying to star in his films but can’t. Yet, he took a liking to Ava Sterling, insisting only she could be his lead actress.
This is a great opportunity; if Ava Sterling can seize it, she’ll surely make an impressive coback, maybe even gain more fa.
She didn’t want Ava to miss this opportunity, so she would work hard to make it happen.
Ava Sterling was unaware of Eric’s intentions, and even more so that the spots Silas Donovan was lying in wait at were told to him by Eric. If she knew, she’d absolutely flip.
The elevator stopped on the first floor, and Ava Sterling walked straight out, but she didn’t wait for Eric in the lobby; instead, she hid around the corner behind the reception desk, afraid Silas Donovan would cling to her again.
While waiting for Eric, Ava Sterling made a decision, during this ti, if unnecessary, she wouldn’t appear in the company at all.
She was certain Silas Donovan would co to the company to stop her again.
So, later she’d ask Eric where the training would be and inquire whether it could not be at the office, simplifying many troubles.
With thoughts running in her mind, the elevator dinged, and Ava Sterling imdiately looked over.
The elevator opened, and Silas Donovan joyfully rushed out of the company without looking back.
Ava Sterling frowned, running that fast as if he was going to pick up gold.
He’s not stopping her?
Just as she thought that, the elevator rang again, another elevator, and Eric ca out.
Seeing Eric, Ava Sterling breathed a sigh of relief, imdiately walking over to lean against the corner, arms crossed, looking at Eric.
Eric surveyed the surroundings, spotting her right away, then walked toward her.
Ava Sterling observed the smile on Eric’s face, then again at her expression, her eyes narrowing at once.
When Eric approached, she straightforwardly asked, "What did you say to that troublemaker?"
Eric was stunned for a mont, rare for Ava Sterling to be so perceptive, looking at her and suppressing the slight panic arising in her heart, said, "I told him to go back and wait, that once you calm down, I’d let him know."
Ava Sterling squinted at Eric, observing closely; her gut told her it wasn’t that simple.
Moreover, how could Silas Donovan have known her address so accurately, as well as the places she often visited, which weren’t known by just anybody?
