Chapter 796: Entering the cetery
“It’s done!” Little Wei cried out, looking at the array in the ground in disbelief.
The ones by the side heard his cry and all looked over.
“It’s done?” Fan Lei flew over with the others.
“Mm. We have already figured out the entire array. Now we just have to figure out what’s wrong.’ Little Wei said.
“Shouldn’t we enter the cetery? What does it have to do with the outer array?” Han Miao Shuang asked.
“Because the array failed, that’s why the inside has turned into a huge plot of inauspicious land. If we can activate the array, it might get rid of the water inside, making the water based creatures weaker. Once we go down, they’ll be easier to deal with if we run into them.” Little Wei explained.
Everyone understood after they heard his explanation.
This kind of attribute modifying array wasn’t complicated, and wasn’t too different from now. Big Wei and Little Wei quickly found where the problem was and, once they had a good grasp of the problem, activated the array.
Imdiately after the array was activated, Jing Wei and the others, who were down in the cetery, felt the pressure on the outside had lessened quite a fair bit. The attacks of the strange creatures had also weakened.”
“Let’s head down.” Big Wei and Little Wei said as they returned to the front of the group.
The mont they heard that they could go down, Kong Xiang Yi imdiately led her n down into the swamp.
“Let’s go down as well.” Once the Kong Valley clansn had gone down, Fan Lei said to those from heavenly Sect.
Sima You Yue and the others imdiately ford a thin barrier around themselves before hopping down.

They broke through the mud, and Sima You Yue felt as if she had gone through a few hundred tres of mud. Then, she broke through the thick layer of soil and flew for quite a while before she saw a huge cetery. On the cetery was a huge barrier, and it enshrouded the entire cetery.
Perhaps too much ti had passed, and the barrier was only able to keep the silt out. It could not keep people out anymore. You Yue and the others rely exerted a bit of force and managed to enter.
They landed on an empty space in front of the cetery. The entire place looked like a house.
“The cetery here is really ancient. It looks similar to the ones in the ancient texts. The things here this ti really seem a little old.”
“The view of this place is rather similar to what Shu Yuan Yuan said. They should have entered from here.” Han Miao Shuang said.
“There are very powerful beasts in here.” Jiang Jun Zhe finally woke up and opened his eyes beside Su Xiao Xiao.
When they ca down, Su Xiao Xiao had brought him in and he hadn’t woken up at all. Who would have thought that he’d wake up imdiately upon reaching here.
“The aura is really powerful.” Han Miao Shuang agreed, “It feels like soone has been watching us ever since we entered this place. It feels a little eerie.”
Sima You Yue lifted her head to look at the barrier above her, saying, “It feels like, ever since we entered this barrier, we entered another huge barrier.”
“Is there an array here? But we don’t feel the lower of an array.” One of the disciples from Kong Valley said.
“Because this array hadn’t been activated .” Sima You Yue said, “Or you could say that the one who ssed with the array outside, is the one who made this.”
“The truly is an array here. This array can stop people on the outside from coming in, and can keep things in here from going out.” Big Wei said, “It should be that the person that year knew that so things would appear here once this place turned into a plot of inauspicious land, so he spoilt this array.’ Little Wei guessed.
“I wonder who did this. But whoever did it, he definitely had bad intentions.” Han Miao Shuang said as she rubbed her arms.
“However that people never in his wildest calculations, expected that his plan would fail, that soone would ruin it.” Kong Xiang Yi said
“I’m guessing that no small power did this.’ Sima You Yue said, “The process of the transformation is a long one. Even if this place turned into a swamp, it might not necessarily change its fengshui. If one wanted to change its fengshui, if not a hundred thousand years going by, then it would need a few tens of thousands of years. A normal power would not be able to sustain it for so long.”
Everyone agreed with her postulations. It was certain that no average power would be able to do this. However, they still had no idea who did it.
“You Yue, we’ll first head in to take a look.” Kong Xiang Yi couldn’t contain the sorry she had for the people inside, and led her clansn inside after letting You Yue know.
They hadn’t gone in for long before they heard sounds of a battle. There were still fluctuations in the spirit energy.
“We’ll go in and take a look.” Fan Lei said to the teachers.
Xue Rong and Shu Yuan Yuan were left behind in the swamp and did not co down. Therefore, those who had entered were all rather powerful. After they had entered, many ancient creatures ca to attack them.
Not far away, Kong Xiang Yi and the others had been surrounded by those creatures and were now in a battle to the death.
“These creatures look so ancient. How are there so many of them?!” A teacher cried out.
Jiang Jun Zhe and Han Miao Shuang ca beside Sima You Yue. They had fireballs in their hands, and burned the creatures that attacked them to death. But even as they killed one, another would appear to take its place. As such, it was a huge drain on their strength.
“These creatures are strange.” Han Miao Shuang saw that another spirit beast that appeared looked exactly like the one she had killed before and he furrowed his eyebrows.
Sima You Yue had been protected in the centre, and did need to involve herself for the mont. When she heard what Han Miao Shuang said, she inspected the spirit beasts carefully.
Their form was very similar to the ones described in the ancient texts found in her spirit pagoda. So of them were the Ancient Era, while others were from the Immorial Era. They were all supposed to be extinct.
How did so many ancient creatures appear? Could they have lived for such a long ti? Or were they like Little Golden Snake and were kept inside a spirit stone to preserve their life and were only released now?
She furrowed her eyebrows and thought about it for a mont but rejected her own theory.
Without a spirit master to release them, they would be hard-pressed to escape. They wouldn’t all appear at once.
Furthermore, even if it was a seeker spirit master, he wouldn’t be able to find so many.
Since they didn’t co out of spirit stones, and they couldn’t have lived for such a long ti, could they all be fakes?
“Could it be an illusion array?’ Little Wei thought of it as well as he cried out to Big Wei.
“Quickly check it out. Fan Lei, give my brother so cover.” Big Wei called out to Fan Lei, who was nearby.
“There isn’t any illusion array here.” Sima You Yue said, “This place doesn’t have an illusion array. There actually isn’t any array here at all.”
“You’ve already checked?”
“Yeah. I’ve already checked. This place doesn’t have the fluctuations of an array.” Sima You Yue said.
“Could these things really be ancient beasts, then?” A teacher said.
“Those things couldn’t have survived for such a long ti.” Sima You Yue said as she released so lightning spirit energy, striking down those spirit beasts….
