Chapter 1350: Troubling the Clan Elders
Wu Man put on a serious gaze. Anything that could make Si Kong so serious must be sothing big.
Si Yue rarely saw such an expression from her Father. She had never seen it before and asked curiously, “Father, did sothing happen?”
“Yue’er, you’re back?” Si Kong only saw his precious daughter now, “Go take a rest since you’re back, I’ll co and visit you after I discuss with Aunt Man. Wu Man, let’s go to the study room.”
“Mm.” Wu Man nodded and disappeared with Si Kong right where they were.
They could disappear even without opening the spatial tunnel, this kind of power reminded Sima You Yue of the people around Feng Ru Yan.
They also disappeared on the spot.
Si Yue pursed her lips after they left just like that and muttered, “What exactly happened that my Father doesn’t even have ti to talk to .”
Si clan’s Third Brother then put away the happy-go-lucky side of him and comforted his Little Sister, “Sothing big must have happened that made Father anxious. Don’t be angry at Father.”
“I understand.” Si Yue continued, “I’m thinking that sothing huge must have happened that caused Father to beco anxious. Why don’t we eavesdrop and see if we can be of any help.”
“No.” Third Brother pulled her and said, “Don’t forget Father’s rule. You can go anywhere except the study room. Don’t you have guests here? Why don’t you settle them down. Do you want them to cause a scene with you?”
Si Yue sighed as she looked at Sima You Yue and the others, “Alright, I’ll bring Little Sister and the rest to my courtyard.”
“The courtyard next door has already been cleared up. Bring them there, it’s nearer to your courtyard anyway.” Si Third Brother said.
“Sure. Little Sister, let’s go.”
Sima You Yue hadn’t spoken since earlier on. She wasn’t sure what happened to Si Kong but her instinct told her that it might be related to Mi Er’s contract.
But it wasn’t nice to ask since she just got here, so she followed Si Yue back to her courtyard.
Si Yue brought Sima You Yue, Mu Si and Di Wu to the courtyard next to hers. He Bo no longer needed to follow her since they were here, but he was called out by Third Brother for questioning.
Although the Si clan had supported and helped Sima You Yue, they didn’t know much about her, so he was called out to know more about her, who she was and what was her motive.
“He Bo, follow , Eldest Brother and the rest are waiting.”
“Yes, Third Young Master.”
Si Hui brought He Bo to his own courtyard where Eldest Brother Si Ze and Second Brother Si Yi were waiting for them.
Two brothers stood up when they saw them coming in and cupped their hands with their own fist and greeted, “He Bo.”
Even the Young Masters of the clan greeted He Bo, it seed that has high status in the clan.
“It has been tough on He Bo this few days.” Si Ze said gratefully.
“Eldest Young Master, you’re too modest.” He Bo replied in greeting.
“We have sothing to ask you, please take a seat.”
He Bo sat down, Si Ze and the other two brothers also sat down.
“He Bo, what’s the na of the lady that Little Sister brought back? How did they know each other? Who is she?” Si Yi asked.
He Bo casually fixed up a spirit barrier to prevent anyone from eavesdropping then he spoke, “That lady’s na is Sima You Yue, she is Sima Liu Xuan’s daughter.”
“Sima Liu Xuan?! How could she be his daughter?! He Bo, are you sure?” Si Hui cried out with surprise.
“I’m quite sure.” He Bo continued, “The reason she ca here is to save her Father.”
“But her Father....”
“It would only stir more problems if others know about her.” Si Hui frowned, why did Little Sister bring a problem back ho?
“Young Miss likes her.” He Bo continued, “According to my observation, she is soone who is worthy to make friends with.”
“She must be good for He Bo to sing praises of her.” Si Ze sighed.
“Isn’t that right, He Bo, you rarely praise anyone. Tell us more about her, so at least we have a clear picture of what’s going on.” Si Yi said.
“Sure.....”
On the other hand, Si Yue brought Sima You Yue and the rest to an exquisite small courtyard and said, “This courtyard wasn’t supposed to be used to serve guests, but my Father guessed that I would like to have you closer to so they prepared this courtyard for you. I’ll switch it to another one if you think it’s too small.”
“It’s fine. It’s good enough for the three of us. This courtyard is beautiful.” Sima You Yue smiled.
“As long as you like it.” Si Yue was happy as she didn’t think that they were putting on an act. “I don’t really like having servants around, so there will be lesser people around . I’ll get Eldest Brother to appoint so servants for you later.”
“No need. I don’t have the habit of having servants around.” Sima You Yue said.
“But....”
“Since when did you see any servants around ? If you get soone here, I will feel uneasy instead.” Sima You Yue said.
“Alright. Don’t complain about neglecting you later on”
“Why would I?”
“Then I’ll order the kitchen to prepare sothing for Mu Si everyday. Then you won’t have to cook for him everyday.” Si Yue said.
Sima You Yue wanted to reject the offer, but she rembered that Mu Si needed to be taken care of when she had sothing to do later and might not be able to co back.
“Then I’ll have to trouble you for that. I’ll have to trouble you to take care of Mu Si if I’m not around.”
“No problem.” Mu Si wouldn’t be a problem since the Si clan was already huge.
“Thank you.” Mu Si bowed towards her.
“What a rare sight, this guy took the initiative to talk to .” Si Yue teased.
Mu Si pursed his lips without saying anything.
“Si Yue, do you think the problem Father said earlier on could be related to Mi Er?” Sima You Yue asked.
“You sensed that too?” Si Yue said curiously, “I think it might be related, but we won’t know if Father won’t talk about it.”
She smiled when she saw Sima You Yue’s worries and said, “You ca here to look for your Father anyway, other morales don’t matter.”
“I’m worried it might be related to my Father.” Sima You Yue said.
“I’ll ask when Father and the rest co out if you’re worried.” Si Yue assured her.
“Alright.”
In Si Kong’s study room, other than Wu Man, there were two other Elders. It only took one look to know that they were of age and were unordinary Elders.
Wu Man was surprised seeing them and nodded slightly to them, they both nodded back.
“What exactly happened? You even troubled two Clan Elders!”
