The visitor’s suites turned out to be the best option because even after they moved inside, nobody was ready to sleep. They were ntally done with the design planning for the day, but they were still incredibly excited to make sure that their options for staff were selected.
There were naturally far too many applicants for so positions, and none for others, but they would be able to solve that in the morning, once they could relay their needs back to the Guardians.
The Guardians had naturally sent the vast majority of these recomndations through the Pentacle mbers that they were closest to, but it sounded like a few of the recomndations were from the human nations, looking to place promising teenagers in a high magic environnt.
That could actually be problematic, as having the servants awakening magic ant that they would have to be sent off for training, and a replacent hired. It would be better to hire ones that had gone through that training, but none of them had yet.
In a few years, they would be great applicants, but if they were hired now, they would be off to the magic academies as soon as their job training was finished.
But there was a consensus that they would take a number of Witches from the other continents for the maintenance staff. There were plenty of them who would likely never break Rank One on their own working nial tasks around the world, and Witch Magic was well suited to keeping a castle running.
They hadn’t gotten a spot in the Pentacles, as the Witches were already chosen from the Witches who had arrived early in Forest Grove, but they weren’t being deliberately excluded.
The Pentacle mbers also wanted to have as many local workers as possible, as they would know more about the world, and they would be able to use that knowledge to help visitors feel at ho, instead of having no answers for curious newcors.
Sure, a Demon Maid could be cute, but if she knew nothing about the world, she was just an empty dress when it ca to making guests feel at ho.
"We can do an orientation course. Send them around to other places for a few weeks or a month each. Then they would know more about the world." Mia suggested.
"Tiline." Cassie reminded her.
They only had a few weeks to get everything up and running before the coronation ceremony, they didn’t have months to be sending staff around to get them acquainted with this world.
"We can bring in so mory crystals. Give everyone a basic overview of what they need to know." Ella offered.
Wolfe nodded. "That should be easy enough. I can make mory crystals as part of the welcoming package, so they can familiarize themselves with the layout of the facility’s public areas on the first day without spending all that ti walking."
It would take ages to walk everywhere that they were expected to know, and longer to know where the basic things were so that they didn’t get lost on the way to work, and could find the basic stores, like the grocer, for their daily lives.
Stocking the grocer would be easy, as the produce farms were already set below the other side of the valley, large enough for the staff and visiting guests on normal occasions. They would just import more specialty items when they were holding a banquet.
They didn’t want to isolate themselves from Forest Grove or the rest of the people, so importing items regularly was a good exercise in keeping in touch. The best way to keep people from causing problems was to make yourself relatable, even if you had significantly more power than they did.
So, as Wolfe intended to take over as King, the more relatable he could make himself to everyone, the smoother the process would be.
They ended up not using the rooms at all, as everyone was up all night preparing to review the information on the job applicants, and to invite the ones that they could all agree on to the castle for a final interview.
It would only take a few questions with a truth charm to know if they were all that they appeared to be, and if their personality seed to be a match for the staff.
The first ones that they would pick were the group supervisors.
Once they had those, they could have them help pick the rest of the staff.
"Alright, as we’re not getting any sleep, should we cast a refreshing spell and start calling in our supervisor candidates? We can do a group interview by section and see how it goes." Wolfe suggested.
Cassie nodded. "Alright, where should we start?"
"The head maid and the head butler. They are the two most important among the dostic staff, then we will do the chefs.
After that, they can help us with everyone in the castle. The specialists on the other side can wait if they have to, but those three groups have to be in place before the Coronation." Wolfe insisted.
"Alright, we have six nas for head maid, and only two head butler options. It appears that nobody wants to give up a qualified head butler." Cassie sighed as she looked at the list.
The humans nodded, and Lucy looked up from her book of the day, a Romance novel with a blank dust cover. "A good butler is like a lifelong personal assistant. They are the people who get things done, so their connections matter almost as much as their skills."
Wolfe checked on the locations, and opened a group of portals to sound the chi requesting entrance.
One after another he opened them as they were answered.
"Good morning everyone. Or at least, morning in my ti zone. We are looking for these candidates for the position of head maid and head butler for the newly created Noxus Castle. If they are available, we are prepared to receive them for a final interview now to make our selections."
"Already?" Was the universal response to that comnt.
"Yes. I don’t like to waste ti, and all of these nas have strong enough resus and references to make the short list as the heads of household."
