Qin Ming opened his eyes, expressionless as he stared down at the newspaper in his hands, his brows furrowing. Fatal Fury 3? The one with connections to King of Fighters? Damn! Since that ga was pretty tough, I didn't put too much effort into it back in the day, so I hardly rember the storyline...

...Aside from that classic 3D realm legend, the beautiful Mai Shiranui, whose...ahem, swaying presence was unforgettable...

Sitting cross-legged on the bed, Qin Ming clutched his head, trying to recall any info he could about Fatal Fury characters and plotlines. Fortunately, his decent mory helped him piece together the main players in this world:

First, there was the famous arcade queen, Mai Shiranui. Then there was Blue Mary, known for her body and skill set, infamous as the "Coback Queen." After them? A group of muscle-bound fighters.

This ti, there were fourteen key players in total, four of whom were bosses. The first was Geese Howard, arch-enemy of the two main protagonists of Fatal Fury and the man who murdered their father. Known as the "Undying Tyrant," he survived multiple fatal encounters with these two brothers and sohow always ca back stronger.

Then there was Ryuji Yamazaki, aka "Snake Brother," a black-market kingpin notorious for his lethal moves and concealed blade strikes. The female adventurer Qin Ming encountered had used Yamazaki's signature move—a vicious quadruple knife combo—to attack him.

The other two bosses were Qin's brothers—likely no relation, but the shared family na seed significant. These two final bosses of Fatal Fury 3 also possessed imnse fighting power.

These formidable characters made up the big bads of the world, and Qin Ming doubted he could handle any of them with his current skills. Besides, he didn't even want to face them—most of these fighters boasted impressive arsenals of flashy moves, while he only had two tricks up his sleeve. Defeat was practically guaranteed.

No wonder this mission's B-level; this place has only minibosses and big bosses, not a single small-fry enemy. Talk about tough!

And the "fighting mode" rule was especially irritating; it seed to force everyone into one-on-one duels. So what, if he wanted to kill soone, he had to first jump out and shout, 'I'm here to take you down!' Sign a death contract, square off in the ring, and settle it in a fair fight?

Sighing at the information, Qin Ming rubbed his forehead, feeling frustrated. The rules weren't great for him, and he needed a strategy. After a mont, an idea ca to mind: Why not start by visiting Mai Shiranui's dojo?

After all, he figured, what's the point of entering a fighting world if you don't pay a visit to Mai Shiranui?

Besides, she was a legend of the 3D world—a classic symbol among first-generation fighting ga beauties, on par with Chun-Li from Street Fighter. If Chun-Li was famous for her legs, Mai was equally known for her, well... other attributes.

And if there was no plan yet, why not start with her?

Who knows, maybe her long-suffering childhood friend, Andy Bogard, isn't even at the dojo. This "King of Green," as so called him, had beco sothing of a tragic figure in fan lore—a handso guy paired with a fighting goddess, which in other people's imaginations led to all sorts of drama.

After all, in Street Fighter, the creators had wisely left Chun-Li single, sparing her from such situations. The drawback, of course, was that Chun-Li's relationship status had stagnated for years, leaving her single to this day. But that was a small price to pay.

Amid these andering thoughts, Qin Ming stepped out of his room and flagged down a cab. Once inside, he firmly stated his destination:

"Know how to get to the Shiranui Dojo? Take there."

The driver froze, gripping the wheel. After a few seconds, he whipped around to face Qin Ming, looking incredulous.

"Where did you say you wanted to go?"

"Shiranui Dojo. Haven't you heard of it?"

"Of course I have; it's kind of famous around here."

"Then what's the holdup? Let's go!" Qin Ming replied, frowning.

"Because it's in Japan, that's why!" the driver snapped, jabbing his finger at a sign outside. "We're in South Town, U.S.A.! You want to get us across the ocean!?"

"South Town?!" Qin Ming repeated.

"Yeah!"

Gazing at the sign, Qin Ming's face shifted as he processed this new information. The U.S., South Town? Isn't that the main setting of the ga?

And now he'd started here... so, there was no chance to see Mai Shiranui's, uh, gracefulness... and witness the legendary goddess of the fighting world in person?

To follow the main story in the bustling South Town or travel across the ocean just to see a single beauty? Qin Ming wrestled with this choice for only a mont before he clenched his jaw, leaning toward the driver once more.

"Take to the Shiranui Dojo!"

To hell with it! South Town's bosses probably outmatched him already, and he'd have to face them in single combat, a recipe for disaster. Better to chase beauty first!
