In a desperate attempt to resist, he fired several shots at Qin Ming, but none of them stopped Qin Ming's advance.
Grabbing Eddie by the collar and lifting him high, Qin Ming raised his other fist, ready to strike. But just then, a sharp whistling sound reached his ears.
Puzzled, he turned his head and looked up, only to see a barrage of mortar shells arcing through the sky toward them...

Flas erupted, and the explosions ca one after another. In the blink of an eye, the rchant ship Qin Ming was on was engulfed in fire.
Before the flas could even die down, a second round of shells followed.
After escaping beyond the range of Qin Ming's ability, Rolento had ordered his soldiers to launch a long-range artillery bombardnt! He hadn't cared at all about the lives of his so-called comrades on the ship!
Or rather, he had never considered Eddie and the others as comrades in the first place!
After six consecutive rounds of explosions, the rchant ship was completely destroyed, sinking into the water with a gurgling sound.

While he was initially pleased with the news, his expression froze when he learned that Eddie, his partner, had been killed in the process.
Eddie, the corrupt cop, was dead? Without Eddie to present the heads of Qin Ming and Mileena to Mayor Haggar for negotiations, what was the point of killing them? It was all for nothing!
Sitting in his wheelchair with a headache, Belger remained silent for a long ti before suddenly picking up the phone.
He had more than one contact in the legitimate world, though Eddie had been the most influential.

All he needed was to negotiate with Mayor Haggar. It didn't matter who claid the credit.
With so many surviving police officers as witnesses, there was no fear of Mayor Haggar doubting the news of their deaths.
After making the call and quickly settling the matter, Belger finally breathed a sigh of relief.
A few hours later, Belger finally received the call he had been waiting for—from Mayor Haggar himself.
After a heartfelt plea, where he portrayed himself as innocent and pinned all the bla on the two terrorists, Qin Ming and Kasamoto Eri, Mayor Haggar finally agreed to talk with him.
Belger imdiately accepted the offer and promised to safely return the mayor's beloved daughter, Jessica. After hanging up the phone, a smile finally spread across his face.
He quickly called his underlings to inform them that the two terrorists, Qin Ming and Kasamoto Eri, had been dealt with. Noticing Poison's sowhat uneasy expression, he chuckled and said, "Alright, as long as we return Miss Jessica tomorrow, this whole ss should be resolved. Honestly, we don't need to antagonize the mayor. It's not easy for him to wipe us out completely, so there's no need for us to be the ones to provoke him. I—"

Before Belger could finish, a loud explosion echoed through the room.

Seeing their hesitation, Belger, hiding behind them, yelled, "What are you afraid of? There are only two of them, and we have four! Plus, I can call more n from downstairs! Do you really think they can take on all of us?!"
Qin Ming's eyes flashed, and he suddenly spoke up, "Poison, you've done a favor before. I don't want to kill you. Join forces with Hugo and to take down Belger and Abigail! I'll recognize you as the new leader of the Mad Gear Gang!"
"Don't listen to him, Poison! Don't forget it was who made you a leader! You can't betray !"
"Ha! So-called 'favor'? She brought her entire gang to join you, and all you gave her was a lieutenant position? You only promoted her to a higher rank when you ran out of people!"
"You—"
"Enough! Stop arguing! Damn it, there's too much talking! You want a four-on-two fight? Bring it on! Let's see who dares to fight!"
Before the argunt could continue, Kasamoto Eri, standing on the table, suddenly shouted.
She tore open her military jacket, revealing the C4 explosives strapped to her body.

The room fell silent as everyone stared at Kasamoto Eri, standing on the table, the C4 on her body ticking ominously.
A few thugs who had rushed in upon hearing the commotion took one look at Kasamoto Eri's appearance, trembled, and quickly retreated, even closing the door behind them.
In the room, ti seed to stand still. After a tense ten seconds, Poison and Hugo exchanged a glance, then decisively walked over to Qin Ming's side, crossing their arms and turning to face their forr boss, Belger.
"Qin Ming, you're right. There's no need to show rcy or follow any code of honor with soone like him. Let's take him down together!"
In the face of undeniable truth, even the usually naive Hugo and the cautious Poison quickly made the right decision.
