(Hint 1: This world is in peaceful mode. Killing other adventurers will not yield loot.)

(Hint 2: The maximum stay duration in this world is 30 days.)

In the room, Qin Ming opened his eyes after resting for three full months and entering the mission world once again. He imdiately noticed sothing unusual in the data displayed on the computer screen in front of him.

As an interdiate adventurer, he realized that the ga rules had changed!

Previously, simply participating in killing a BOSS was enough to complete the mission, but now, he had to personally kill the BOSS for it to count.

Moreover, the requirent to kill a specific BOSS had been replaced with killing any BOSS-level story character, aning even protagonists could be targets.

Most importantly, the mission rewards had increased significantly, while the penalties for failure had beco almost negligible.

And what was this about a maximum stay duration? Did this an he had to stay in this world for a month, regardless of whether he completed the mission or not?

Rubbing his forehead, Qin Ming, the newly promoted interdiate adventurer, felt a wave of frustration. He knew it would take ti to adjust to these new rules. The good news was that he had plenty of ti.

After becoming an interdiate adventurer, although he still had to face a promotion mission every ten worlds, the penalties for failing the promotion mission were no longer as severe. Additionally, the rewards from missions wouldn't drastically decrease even after failing the promotion mission.

If low-level adventurers had to race against ti, with the pressure mounting until it crushed them if they didn't advance quickly, interdiate adventurers no longer needed to rush. In fact, if managed well, ensuring a steady stream of loot from each mission world, one could stay at this level indefinitely, even with the promotion mission failure penalties.

The difference in treatnt between low-level and interdiate adventurers was like night and day!

The latter were regular employees, enjoying benefits like insurance and holidays, while the forr were re temps with no benefits at all—easily replaceable.

Having successfully passed the promotion mission and beco an interdiate adventurer, Qin Ming had finally "graduated" and could enjoy the fruits of his labor.

Tugging at his collar, Qin Ming quickly stood up from his chair after receiving the mission details and strode out the door.

At this mont, he found himself in a police station.

Thanks to his title ability, his entry identity this ti was a city police officer in tro City, placing him on the protagonist's side.

By now, Qin Ming had fully integrated with Gan Ning's head. To enhance it, he had spent over 30,000 points!

The results were impressive. The upgraded Gan Ning's head, now at ordinary gold quality, increased his agility by 15 points! For Qin Ming, this ant a 7-point increase in his agility cap, along with a new skill!

Although the skill, "Sweeping Snow at the Door," was a useless C-level ability.

Qin Ming's current base attributes were: 21 (41), 26 (51), 28 (28), 21 (31).

Pushing open the door, Qin Ming, now dressed in a police uniform, walked into the main hall.

To his surprise, the hall was in chaos. Police officers were gathered in small groups chatting, while criminals were also huddled together, so even mingling with the officers!

The sight of police and criminals sitting together, casually chatting in the police station, left Qin Ming stunned.

He finally had a firsthand understanding of what a cri-ridden city looked like.

Truly a place where violence and cri ran rampant—it was as chaotic as they said.

Just as Qin Ming was montarily stunned, the door beside him suddenly exploded open. In the next second, a figure was sent flying out, crashing onto the ground with a painful groan.

The man who had been kicked out lay there moaning in agony, while the group that erged from the doorway wore ferocious expressions, their thick, brutish faces twitching with rage.

"You crashed into ! And you still dare to call the cops?"

The man who had been kicked out let out a groan of pain. "It was you who hit my car!"

"You still dare to talk back?!"

Hearing this, the group instantly erupted in fury, charging forward and beating him down with fists and kicks. When they were done, the leader spat viciously on the ground.

"Fine then! Let's say I did hit your car! You got a problem with that? You think you can call the cops on ? Are you tired of living? You don't know whose territory this is? This is the turf of the Mad Gear Gang! You looking for death?!"

As he spoke, the burly man turned and grabbed a nearby stool, raising it high before swinging it down rcilessly toward the man on the ground.

The victim, who had simply called the police after his car was maliciously wrecked, had not only failed to receive compensation but had been brought to the station and beaten senseless by the culprit instead. He curled up on the floor, arms wrapped around his head, not even daring to resist.

Surrounded by the vicious gang mbers and the unfriendly glares of the police officers nearby, he had no ans to fight back.

The burly man smashed the chair into pieces, but he still wasn't satisfied. Just as he reached for another one to continue his assault, footsteps suddenly sounded behind him, accompanied by a voice.

"Excuse , move aside."

Hearing this, the burly man froze and turned his head, raising an eyebrow at the uniford Qin Ming standing behind him.

Since Qin Ming had to return to reality soon, he hadn't stored any blood in his body, which ant he was in his normal state—standing at only 1.7 ters tall.

And in front of this massive brute, who easily towered over him by a whole head, his stature looked laughably small.

The Mad Gear thug squinted at Qin Ming, his expression unfriendly. "You new here?"

"Yeah."

"You know who I am?"

"No idea."

"You little punk, this place is wide open, and you just had to walk right here? You looking for trouble? Even your police chief wouldn't dare talk to like this! And you, a lowly patrol officer, got a death wish or sothing?"

As he spoke, the thug jabbed his thick finger hard against Qin Ming's chest.

Qin Ming rolled his eyes in annoyance and suddenly grabbed the man's hand.

With a sharp squeeze of his fingers, a sickening crunch echoed through the room. The thug's hand was instantly crushed out of shape, fingers twisted grotesquely. He let out a bloodcurdling scream.

Before he could finish screaming, Qin Ming's other hand shot forward, clamping down firmly on his face.

S-Rank Skill: Blood Drain—Activated!

With a deep hum, a thick mist of blood erupted from Qin Ming's arm, enveloping the thug's entire head.

The man's body convulsed violently, his eyes bulging as blood was forcibly drawn from his skin, turning into a swirling crimson mist that wrapped itself around Qin Ming's arm, rging with his body.

In just a matter of seconds, the once towering, muscular brute shrunk down into a frail, stick-thin husk. His wide, terrified eyes were completely lifeless.

anwhile, Qin Ming, now engorged with fresh blood, underwent a dramatic transformation—his original 1.7-ter fra instantly shot past 2 ters!

Casually tossing aside the withered corpse, Qin Ming cracked his neck with a slow turn.

His face remained cold and expressionless, but his tone was filled with disdain.

"You blocked my way... and still dared to run your mouth?" He scoffed. "You must be begging to die."
