It took Sofia a mont to muster the energy to say a word as her lips faintly moved.

At that instant, when Royce really heard his na, he suddenly flinched as he pulled himself away.
The lady making out with him suddenly threw a glance, and to make it worse, it was soone she knew.
"Mia?" Sofia broke down.
It was Mia, her best friend who lived with her in an apartnt, as they were both students at Sky High University. Though Mia was in a different departnt, they usually t after lectures and headed ho together, except when Sofia decided to spend the night at Royce's house.
Ever since she started dating Royce, Sofia had even stopped coming ho. Royce would always insist that she spend the night at his place so he could enjoy all her stuff, and Sofia had indeed loved staying there... In a luxurious house filled with the best of things for her to enjoy.
Little did she know that her friend was already having an affair with Royce, whom she had only dated for nine days.
Royce hesitated and cleared his throat, adjusting his clothes.
"Sofia..." he muttered.
"You... You..." Sofia completely ran out of words as she stood there, her jaw dropped, eyes faint.

"Tell what to think! You stopped picking my calls after last night. I searched for you everywhere, almost got run over by a truck on the street... Only to see you here with her, my best friend!" Sofia said as she slowly began to break down in tears.

"Go to hell, Royce!" Sofia interrupted again, the tears intensifying.
Royce just shrugged... After all, it wasn't as if he cared.

"Well, I guess the best thing to do is to walk away," Royce shook his head nonchalantly and attempted to leave.
But Sofia suddenly stopped him.
"Where do you think you are going?!" Sofia shouted.
"Hey, careful, Sofia. You no longer have the right to touch him..."
At the mont she least expected a word from her so-called best friend, Mia had the courage to interfere.
"Yes. Royce is mine now. You can just go ahead and drown in the sea. Royce doesn't want you anymore," she said with a mocking smile.
At that instant, a fla seed to burn in Sofia's eyes as she threw herself at Mia.

Sofia froze there, her eyes widened in disbelief. She never expected that Royce could actually act like this one day... Not even after just nine days of their relationship.
"Mia is right. I don't want you anymore," Royce said. "I'm hers now."
Mia's cheeks flushed the mont he said that, smiling as she watched her best friend in pain.
"Oh, and again..." Royce halted and turned, like he rembered sothing to say.
"You should try adding so honey to that stuff under there. It tastes awfully bad... Really," Royce said with a smile, then walked away with his new girl.
Sofia was instantly taken aback, as she clearly understood what he ant. It was the least of embarrassnts she had expected, but of course, she was left with nothing to do.
