At first, I was confused.

I rubbed my eyes to see whether what I am seeing is actually true. Having read it once, I read it again, then a few more tis before confirming that I wasn’t missing anything.

"Shit!" I cursed out loud.

One second wasn’t much, but if used right, it would beco the most overpowered skill of mine. Much more than anything I could get in the future.

"Gamblers would have a field day with this one," I sighed before shaking my head. I recalled Mira, once more. But then again... there was no point in regretting what I hadn’t done.

All right. Let’s focus on the present. Should I use 2 more points to see how it would improve? I considered deeply. I was really, really tempted to do it.

And even though I should not be greedy...

"Aaaah! Let’s fuck it!"

[Skill Points: 4 -> 2]

[Eyes of the Tikeeper has been upgraded to level 3!]

[Eyes of the Ti Keeper (Level 3)

Effect:

Allows the User to see the ti duration of all inanimate activities. Allows the User to see 1.5 seconds into the future.

Cost: 15TP/sec.

Skill points required to upgrade the skill: 3]

A slight smile appeared on my face as I saw the TP cost being removed from the first function of the skill while the duration and the cost of the second were increased by 50%. It wasn’t as groundbreaking as I expected it to be, but this was still good enough to make it worth it.

Let’s check its effect at least.

To check the effects, I looked around the area before taking out a small nail from the bag. Then, throwing it in the air, projecting it away from , I activated the skill.

[Eyes of the Tikeeper(foresight)]

A dizzying effect followed as I saw two images in front of . One was the original of how the nail was in the air, while another was a bluish projection of what I was focusing at, for this test, the nail.

In the projection, I not only saw the nail’s position 1.5 seconds later but also the line of projection that it was going to make until that point. Allowing to see not only what would happen in the future, but how the event would occur.

It was still dizzying nonetheless.

Now to try it on other things. I decided to test it a few more tis to test its applications and limitations. Things that I would do, things I would try to do but not do. I checked out a couple of things I could.

Thankfully, it did not limit my imagination and allowed to see all the possibilities of the future as much as I desired. Sotis, I even saw multiple projections depending upon the number of futures that I wanted to see.

After using the skill on a few things, I beca sowhat getting used to it. Hence, I wasted about 10 more minutes studying its effects until it beca easy to use without any dizziness.

Once done with that, I then moved on to the next skill.

[Inspect]

[Item: Cola Flavoured Soda Can

Description: Carbonated water with artificial sweeteners added. Not the best for health, but provides a refreshing, lingering taste.

Nutrient Value: 200 Calories.

Effects: 20 HP]

It provides a general overview of what was visible. Nothing out of the ordinary, but better than the bland information it was providing before.

Testing this skill on a few more items, I sighed as there were little visible improvents in the skill. Though hopefully it would provide more insight when used on a zombie.

"All right. Now... hmmm... I think I should wait," I thought as I looked at the side quests.

[Side Quest: Survive for 2 hours.

Ti Left: 10 Minutes 47 Seconds.

Reward: 100Exp!]

Perhaps I was extrely desperate in the bathroom back there; the system generated this quest for back at that ti. In a few more minutes, I would surely finish this quest.

While the quest itself wasn’t as important, the fact that I can clear a space for [Side Quest] and create another quest was. I needed to utilize everything I could in order to survive this nightmare.

Hence, for the next 10 minutes, I tried a couple of things to pass the ti.

"ABCDEFG..."

"ZXYWUV..."

"I beca so numb..."

"... Deees-paa-Seeto..."

[Quest: Survive Completed!]

[You have received 100 Exp!]

"I want to kill all the zombies on the 16th floor of this tower," I spoke in a slight monotone voice before the system sounded once again.

[New Side Quest: Kill all the zombies on the 16th floor west wing tower.

Objective: Kill all the 7 zombies on that floor.

Rewards: 3 Stats randomly allocated to your status!]

"Not many zombies, huh?" I thought before placing the bag on my back before moving towards the ergency exit once again, this ti carrying a much more serious expression than what I had in my last run.
