Inside the chain do, Yoora could barely breathe.

The air had beco too hot, and her arms were already shaking from holding her chains up for so long. She could feel it—her mana was running out. Her body felt heavy, her head dizzy, and her heart was pounding so fast it almost hurt.

'I don't get it,' she thought, blinking fast to stay focused. 'I shouldn't even be standing. My mana pool isn't that big… how did I last this long?'

Her legs buckled slightly as she lowered herself, panting hard. The chain walls above her creaked and groaned with each explosion outside, chunks of dust and heat leaking through.

Still, she didn't give up.

She bit her lip and reached inside again, calling out to her chains with what little mana she had left.

"I just need a bit more," she whispered.

A small glow appeared around her as she used her final energy, wrapping herself in a cocoon made of tight, thick chains that swirled and locked into place. This one was different. It didn't look like a wall or a do—it was just a tight shell around her, hugging her from all sides.

She curled up inside it, arms wrapped around her knees, her whole body trembling.

Then it ca.

The Emberstorm finally fell like burning teors from the sky.

Each impact shook the ground violently, as if the world was being cracked apart one piece at a ti. The rumble was deafening. Outside, glowing red fireballs smashed into the top of the chain fortress again and again—nonstop, rciless, and loud like thunder.

Inside, Yoora closed her eyes tight, her ears ringing as each hit pushed her further into the ground.

The cave of chains above her started shaking wildly. The top part collapsed inward a little, forcing her body lower, pressing her down to the earth. She bit her tongue to stop herself from screaming.

One minute passed.

Her arms were numb now.

Her whole body was being pressed down, her back flat on the ground, and the weight of her own skill—the only thing protecting her—was becoming too much to bear.

Outside the shield, Seojun stood quietly, a short distance away.

He watched the storm rain down with a calm expression, arms crossed as his hair moved slightly in the warm wind.

[This is enough. She's reached her limit. She's been forced to use it, host.]

Seojun's eyes didn't move. He was still focused, still watching the do of chains that was now glowing red from the constant impact.

Inside, Yoora was flat on the ground, panting and blinking slowly, her vision blurred from blood, heat, and pressure.

The fire in the sky slowly faded.

After a storm of red embers burned the battlefield into a crater, silence returned. Seojun lowered his hand, and the raining skill—Cursed Emberstorm—finally ca to a stop. Smoke curled in the air, and a dull wind pushed through the ruined earth.

He waited.

He didn't move, didn't speak, just stared at the thick layer of dust and debris that covered the broken shield Yoora had made. The chains were no longer glowing. So had lted into glowing pieces, and others had fallen completely apart.

But even before the dust fully cleared… he felt it.

The ground began to tremble.

At first it was slight, just small pulses under his feet. But then the chains—what was left of them—began to twitch unnaturally, like sothing was trying to break out from deep underground.

Seojun narrowed his eyes and stepped forward slowly. When he stood near the edge of the hole Yoora had been buried in, he looked down to check her condition.

Then—the entire ground shook violently.

He floated up imdiately, just in ti—because a massive boom erupted from below.

Chains exploded outward in every direction like they were fired from a cannon, and the earth cracked with a deep roar as the remaining shield blew apart into dust and force. From within that blast, a single thick chain shot forward—straight at Seojun.

It wrapped tightly around his waist in the blink of an eye.

But Seojun reacted fast. Just before the chain could slam him into the ground, he slipped out from its grip using a blink movent and landed safely a few ters away, his coat fluttering in the breeze.

Then ca the real surprise.

From the middle of the swirling dust… Yoora erged.

Her hair floated wildly around her face as if caught in a powerful wind. Her eyes were glowing with a strange dark light. Her torn left arm —once cut and bleeding—were completely gone.

In it's place is massive arm made of mana Chains.

They looked like oversized, monstrous arms ford from black and violet chains—dense, glowing, and humming with dangerous power. They weren't just shapes of energy.

Each movent cracked the ground beneath her.

Yoora stood taller now, her breath heavy but steady, her presence overwhelming.

[Warning: Student Min Yoora has entered an enhanced state.]

Seojun frowned slightly as he watched the chains twitch behind her like wings preparing to strike.

Yoora stepped forward, her monster-like chain arm dragging behind her, crushing small rocks in their path, She raised her head slowly, her eyes locking onto him with a burning, furious glare. Her voice was low but steady—filled with cold strength.

"This is my true power, Professor," she said, the air around her vibrating as her aura flared wildly. "I'm not like the others. I didn't lose myself."

Her chains spun behind her like living beasts. "I'm faster. Stronger. I don't need to be as strong as my mother. I just need to be enough—to protect the people I care about."

Then, her body disappeared for a second.

A blur.

She reappeared in front of Seojun instantly, aiming a fist-like swing of her mana chain arm straight at his chest with a wild shockwave trailing behind.
