The next day, the sun was shining gently above the training field beside Seojun's building. The grass moved softly with the wind. Seojun sat cross-legged in front of his two students—Minseok and Nayoung.

Both students had their eyes closed, trying to focus. Minseok looked calm as always, sitting upright like a statue. Nayoung, on the other hand, had a little frown on her face. Her cheeks puffed slightly, clearly frustrated.

Seojun watched them quietly for a mont before speaking, "The most important thing in taming… is mana. Without mana, even the weakest beast won't listen to you. The stronger your mana, the stronger the beast you can ta."

Minseok remained still, breathing slowly. Nayoung, however, opened one eye and stared at Seojun. She suddenly stopped breathing properly and let out a small huff.

"Ugh… how can we focus when you're talking, Professor?" she pouted. "It's so hard!"

Seojun raised an eyebrow and replied calmly, "I'm talking on purpose."

Nayoung blinked. "What?"

Seojun leaned back slightly and folded his arms. "In real life, when you ta a beast, do you think the world around you will be quiet and peaceful like this?"

She blinked again. "…No?"

"Exactly," Seojun nodded. "There will be noise, danger, movent. You might hear monsters, people shouting, or even explosions. But to ta properly, you must focus no matter what's around you. If my voice breaks your focus, then you need to train harder."

Nayoung looked down, thinking about it. Then she slowly sat back up straight. "Fine… but I'm still not happy about it, Professor hmp."

"You'll thank later."

Minseok said nothing, but a small smile appeared on his lips as he continued to focus.

"Professor!" a sharp voice rang out across the training field, Nayoung's head imdiately turned toward the source of the voice, her eyes flying open in surprise. The mont she recognized who it was, her entire expression brightened.

"Waaah, Yoora! You ca!" she exclaid excitedly, already pushing herself up from the ground, But her joy was short-lived.

"Sit down, Nayoung," Seojun's voice cut through the air, calm but firm—leaving no room for argunt.

"Ehh? But—" Nayoung protested with a pout, eyes flicking between her professor and her friend, clearly torn.

"Focus on your task," he said again, not even looking at her this ti.

With a loud, dramatic sigh and cheeks puffed like an upset squirrel, Nayoung reluctantly sat back down and closed her eyes again, although she didn't try to hide the fact that she was sulking. Beside her, Minseok nearly broke his ditation, a small laugh escaping his lips before he quickly composed himself and returned to his quiet breathing, trying not to let her reactions distract him.

anwhile, Seojun stood and calmly walked a few paces away from the students, his gaze finally settling on the one responsible for the disturbance. It was Min Yoora. She stood stiffly at the edge of the field, arms crossed tightly, her expression stormy.

"So you decided to attend my class," Seojun said in a flat tone, almost as if he were comnting on the weather.

Yoora narrowed her eyes. "Attend? Are you joking? I'm not here for your class," she snapped. "I'm here to talk to you!"

But Seojun said nothing more. Without a single word, he walked and sat down again—this ti on the grass near in Minseok and Nayoung—and closed his eyes, returning to the sa still position as his students, as if she had already vanished from his thoughts.

"...Minseok and Nayoung are now at the starting point," he began again, smoothly resuming the lesson. "At this stage, the most important thing is learning to feel mana... not control it yet, just feel it... because only through calm observation can you start to understand your own flow..."

"Don't you hear ?!" Yoora barked, taking a step closer. "Stop talking already! We need to talk, Professor!"

She stood behind him now, frustration bubbling over, her voice louder and more impatient. She reached out toward his shoulder, intent on pulling his attention back—but just as her fingers ca close, Seojun leaned slightly to the side, completely dodging her without ever opening his eyes or breaking the flow of his words.

"Mana that is unstable, impatient, or too proud will push creatures away... The more noise you make inside, the less they trust you," he continued calmly, as if nothing had happened.

Yoora clenched her jaw. She moved to try again, circling behind him and reaching out a second ti—but once more, Seojun avoided her touch effortlessly, tilting just enough to the left this ti. His posture remained unshaken, and his eyes stayed shut the whole ti.

It was as if he could feel the air shifting around her movents, or maybe even see without seeing. From the side, Nayoung peeked one eye open again, watching the strange interaction. She clearly wanted to laugh.

"Close it," Seojun said,

"Eep—!" Nayoung shut her eye quickly, straightening her back again, lips pressed into a tight line.

Yoora, now standing behind Seojun with her hands clenched at her sides, looked completely done with everything. Her pride was pricked, her patience gone.

A loud crack shattered the peaceful air.

With a flash of silver, Yoora's chains slamd down like lightning, carving a line straight through the training field, scattering dust and earth in its wake. The sudden burst of power jolted both Minseok and Nayoung from their concentration.

"Professor!" Nayoung cried out, scrambling back with wide eyes as the ground shook beneath her. Minseok instinctively moved in front of her, raising a hand in defense.

But Seojun didn't even flinch.

"Don't mind us," he said simply, voice calm as if they were discussing the weather.

"But Professor—!" Nayoung tried again, clearly panicked.

Before she could finish, Yoora blinked in confusion. He was gone.

"W-What?!" she gasped—and then her eyes widened even more when she felt sothing behind her.

She spun around.

Seojun was already standing beside her—unhard, composed, and not even a speck of dirt on his robe.

"You—!" she growled, not even giving herself ti to think. Her chains whipped out again, attacking with a wide arc this ti.

Nayoung and Minseok backed off further, standing several ters away now. They watched with nervous eyes as their professor dodged every strike with minimal movent—stepping aside, tilting his body, leaning just enough to let the chains pass by like wind brushing past a wall.

Yoora's attacks kept coming, faster, harder—furious.

"You're not answering !" she shouted, her voice rising as her control over her emotions cracked. "What are you planning to do to Nayoung, Professor?!"

Seojun's eyes were still calm, almost bored. "What do you an?"

"Don't act like nothing's happening!" Yoora yelled. "I saw you yesterday! You went into her house! You talked to her brother!"
