Nathan pulled Elshienne and Nayoung toward the door, his grip tight. "We need to get out, now!" he said urgently.
As they turned around to leave, the professor suddenly shouted, "Dodge!"
Elshienne's eyes widened in fear. She turned her head just in ti to see the guy thrashing, throwing tables and chairs around the room. The chaos began.
One of the flying tables was headed straight for a student nearby. Elshienne didn't think, she just reacted. She dashed forward and kicked the table out of the way, narrowly avoiding being hit. Nayoung quickly helped the student up, pulling them away from the danger.
But then another chair flew toward them. Nathan used his body to shield them, shoving them to the side as the table crashed into his back. "Nathan!" Elshienne scread, her heart pounding.
The guy continued to scream in agony, his voice cracking. "Go away! Leave alone! It hurts! It hurts so much!" His words were mixed with painful shouts, as though he was losing control of his own body.
Chaos filled the room. Chairs, tables, and even parts of the walls started to fly across the classroom. The students were scrambling, running to find cover.
Nathan, holding Elshienne close, used his body to shield her from another table that ca barreling toward them. He took the hit in the side, gritting his teeth. "Stay down!" he growled, his voice strained.
Elshienne's breath hitched in panic as she saw the guy's body contorting, his skin stretching and breaking in places. He was no longer human. His wings flapped wildly, sending more sticky liquid spraying across the room.
"I can't control it!" the guy scread, his eyes wild with fear. "It hurts too much! Sobody... help!"
The room was filled with destruction, and the once peaceful classroom had beco a battlefield. The students who hadn't already escaped were desperately trying to avoid the flying debris, while others cried out in fear.
Elshienne couldn't take it anymore. "We need to stop him!" she said, struggling to break free from Nathan's grasp. But he held her tight, not wanting her to get caught in the chaos.
"We need to get out first," Nathan snapped, his face pale from the pain.
The guy's shouts filled the room as his transformation continued, his body becoming more monstrous by the second. His wings flapped again, sending a fresh wave of table and chair flying toward the students But the students were too panicked, and the situation was spiraling out of control.
Alexa's expression hardened as she heard the news. "They're already here?!" she exclaid in disbelief. She quickly turned to the professors and students, her voice firm and commanding. "Lead the students out of the building. Get everyone to safety, and inform the others to evacuate imdiately."
As the professors moved quickly to follow her orders, Elshienne sneakily glanced back toward the classroom. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the guy who had been causing the chaos now lying on the ground, motionless. "What just happened?" Nayoung muttered beside her, equally confused.
Elshienne couldn't answer. She just stared at the fallen figure, her mind racing with questions about what exactly had taken place. The scene in the classroom felt like a blur, and now, seeing him on the floor like that, it was hard to process.
They were quickly escorted out of the building and into the open field, where Alex was already in the middle of instructing the other professors.
The murmurs spread quickly among the students as confusion filled the air.
"What happened?" soone asked, their voice shaky.
"Geez, that alarm scared !" another student muttered, still holding their chest.
"They said soone went berserk," one of them whispered, wide-eyed.
"Berserk?!" another student exclaid, looking around in disbelief.
"Oh my, seriously?!" ca a third voice, panic starting to rise.
Suddenly, there was a loud thud as soone collapsed to the ground The situation turned even more intense. The mont the person hit the ground, a large black bump appeared on their back, growing larger by the second. The bump shifted and twisted as if sothing inside was trying to break free.
Then, with a sickening sound, wings sprouted from the back, tearing through the fabric of the student's shirt.
"Oh my god!" one student shouted, backing away in horror.
"Is that... what is that?!" another scread, eyes wide with shock.
The student's body trembled violently, and then suddenly, the student shot up, as if taken over by sothing else. His face twisted in pain, his eyes wide and wild. His mouth opened, but instead of words, a terrifying scream filled them the area.
"Ahhh! It hurts! Leave alone! It won't stop!" the student scread, clutching at his head. His voice was hoarse and desperate as if sothing was taking control of him.
The wings flapped wildly, and in a split second, the student lunged toward the nearest person.
"Look out!" a professor shouted, but it was too late. The student swiped at the nearest group of students, sending them scattering in fear.
"Stay back! Don't get too close!" the professor scread, trying to create space between the students and the berserk student.
"He's attacking! He's attacking!" a student cried out, scrambling to get out of the way as the wings lashed out.
The student's movents were erratic, like he was trying to break free from sothing inside him. His body was wracked with spasms, the wings twitching as though they had a mind of their own. Every ti they flapped, the room shook, and the students scread in panic.
"Get back! Everyone, out of the way!" the professor shouted again,
"Help!" soone scread as the student swung again, narrowly missing another student.
"Stay back Everyone!" A prof shouted and other professor imdiately move them away and he chant, "Fire's Wrath, Fla Bind!"
Fire appeared in his hands. He quickly ford a wall of flas around the creature. The fire burned brightly, trapping the monster.
As the fire surrounded the creature. The person now beca a fully monster screeched, flapping its wings and trying to escape, but the fire kept it in place.
At the sa ti, another professor, calm and controlled, stepped forward. She raised her arms, speaking a chant as well. "Vine's Embrace, Earth's Hold!" she called,
Imdiately, thick, vine-like chains shot up from the ground, wrapping around the creature's limbs and body, holding it in place. The vines tightened, binding it firmly to the ground.
"Got it!" the professor said,
The professors moved quickly, taking action to deal with the situation. Alexa looked at the prof and nodded.
"Good job," she said. "Keep it contained, How is it Alex?"
Alex went on Alexa side muttered, "Nothing, just two."
