Chapter 62: [62] The True Abyss, Bloodline Resonance

The Ebon Citadel tore through the Primordial Chaos like a pitch black leviathan.

The massive reality enforcing sail woven by Kaelith caught the violent currents of the void. It propelled the Chaos Dreadnought at physics breaking speeds.

Inside the command bridge, Arthur Sterling stood by the panoramic viewport with a glass of celestial whiskey in his hand.

He looked completely relaxed. But the environnt outside was anything but peaceful.

They had left the relatively calm shallows of the outer Chaos Sea. The swirling multi colored paradox storms had faded.

They were replaced by an oppressive suffocating darkness that seed to swallow light entirely.

"CRACK! GROOOAAAN!"

The heavily reinforced hull of the Ark shuddered violently. The absolute conceptual pressure of this new sector was attempting to crush their localized reality like an empty soda can.

"We have crossed the boundary." Kaelith projected. Her crystalline limbs worked frantically to reinforce the failing navigation arrays. "We have entered the True Abyss."

Arthur took a slow sip of his drink. The True Abyss. The birthplace of the concept of Destruction. It was a sector of the multiverse where the fundantal rule of existence was rapid violent erasure.

"The gravity here is absurd." Lyra grunted from her console. Her violet eyes were wide with strain. "It’s not physical weight. It feels like the void is trying to drag my soul out through my boots."

[System Remark]

?? CRITICAL WARNING: Entity Level Gravitational Anomaly detected.

?? The True Abyss environnt is actively eroding the Ark’s structural integrity.

"System. Give

anchors." Arthur commanded instantly.

"I didn’t build this to watch it get repossessed by a black hole."

[System Store]

?? Purchasing: Conceptual Anchors x4.

?? Cost: 200,000,000 System Points.

?? Deploying anchors to stabilize localized physics.

Four massive invisible pillars of Absolute Order shot out from the Citadel. They slamd into the fabric of the void and forcefully pinned the Ark in place.

The violent shuddering imdiately ceased. The oppressive soul draining pressure neutralized into a dull manageable hum.

Arthur exhaled.

But before he could speak, a horrifying guttural snarl echoed through the bridge.

"Grrr RRRRAAAAAH!"

Arthur spun around. Morwenna was on her hands and knees in the center of the room. The Demon Empress was violently convulsing.

Her dark crimson gown was tearing at the seams as her muscles rapidly expanded and contracted. The black tattoos that covered her deathly pale skin were glowing with a blinding violet light.

"Morwenna!" Sylvia shouted. She stepped forward and her hands instinctively flared with Absolute Zero magic to contain her.

"Back off!" Arthur barked. His voice echoed with absolute authority.

He blurred forward and dropped his whiskey glass. He appeared directly in front of the writhing Demon Empress.

He could see the absolute madness bleeding into her liquid gold eyes. Her fangs had elongated to grotesque proportions.

Thick corrosive abyssal miasma was pouring from her pores and attempting to eat through the floor plating.

This was bad. This was really, really bad. She was losing her mind entirely.

The True Abyss was calling to her. The ambient energy of her absolute origin was forcing her bloodline into a state of hyper accelerated feral mutation. Her Progenitor was trying to forcefully overwrite her ego.

"Kill. Consu. DESTROY!" Morwenna shrieked. Her voice was distorted and layered with a thousand demonic echoes.

She lunged at Arthur imdiately. Her razor sharp claws aid directly for his throat.

"SQUELCH!"

Arthur didn’t dodge at all. He let her claws slam into his chest.

The abyssal blades sparked violently against his Dinsional Breaker Physique. They completely failed to pierce his skin.

He didn’t hit her back either.

He simply reached forward and wrapped his massive heavy arms securely around her thrashing body. He pulled her flush against his chest and locked her arms to her sides in an inescapable grip.

"No, let

go!" Morwenna roared. Her jaw snapped wildly near his neck.

She was burning with the heat of a dying sun. Her abyssal energy desperately tried to incinerate the man holding her.

"You work for ." Arthur growled. His voice was a low vibrating rumble that cut through the demonic static in her mind.

He didn’t use a spell.

He projected his Absolute Order directly into her soul. He acted as an immovable conceptual pillar of stability against the raging storm of her bloodline.

"You don’t bow to the void. You answer to .

Calm down." Arthur ordered firmly.

[Biological State]

?? Bound Target Morwenna is undergoing catastrophic bloodline resonance.

?? Target’s physical and conceptual limits are shattering.

?? 1,000,000x ROI Multiplier Activated!

?? Host is passively receiving extre localized Abyssal God Energy and Conceptual Destruction insights.

Arthur gritted his teeth. His pitch black eyes flared with multi colored Primordial Fla as the massive volu of feedback slamd into his core.

It felt like he had swallowed a supernova. His muscles densified and his bones humd. His own resilience was pushed to terrifying levels to match her mutation.

Slowly, the frantic feral resistance in Morwenna’s body began to shift. The absolute unyielding safety of Arthur’s dominance overrode the chaotic call of the Abyss.

Her panicked thrashing turned into desperate fierce clinging. She buried her face in the crook of his neck. Her claws retracted as she let out a ragged breathless sob.

"Emperor." She whimpered softly. Her body was completely limp against his. "What’s happening."

"I have got you." Arthur murmured. One hand rested on the back of her head and stroked her dark hair. His Order energy continued to violently purge the external influence from her mind. "Nobody takes my assets."

Before the tender mont could settle properly, the external proximity alarms of the Citadel shrieked loudly.

"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"

"Emperor!" Lyra yelled from the console. Her fingers flew over the runes. "Multiple massive hostiles detected! They are erging from the ambient dark matter.

They are entirely off the radar!"

Arthur looked out the viewport. Swimming through the pitch black void toward the Ark were dozens of colossal serpentine silhouettes.

They were Abyssal Leviathans. Beasts made of pure condensed dark matter. Their jaws were wide enough to swallow the Citadel whole.

Morwenna lifted her head from Arthur’s shoulder. The madness in her eyes was gone. It was replaced by a cold calculating and utterly lethal fury.

Her mutation had stabilized completely. She wasn’t just a Demon Empress anymore. She radiated the terrifying concept erasing power of a true Chaos entity.

Arthur smirked and slowly released his grip. He stepped back and admired the violent beautiful power rolling off her skin.

"Authorized. Go liquidate them."

Morwenna didn’t use an airlock. She literally dissolved into a pool of living darkness. She slipped through the micro fractures in the hull and manifested directly in the void outside.

"ROOOAAAR!"

She didn’t use magic. She used pure physical violence. Her newly upgraded Chaos Tier claws extended into massive conceptual scythes.

She slamd into the lead Leviathan and laughed a dark charming laugh as she violently ripped the beast’s lower jaw entirely off its face.

"SQUELCH!"

Dark matter sprayed across the void as Morwenna turned into a blender of absolute destruction.

She used the battle to perfectly temper her newly mutated bloodline.

Inside the bridge, Arthur watched his investnt pay off in real ti.

The million fold multiplier fed him a constant steady stream of combat data.
