However, the grind wasn’t going to stop here. Now that he was at the third realm perfection in his qi cultivation, bringing his body cultivation to par only yielded marginal benefits compared to which one he advanced first, especially in terms of lifespan.
So unlike before, it was more of a straightforward process. For one, Li Ling paid another 2000 Slaughter Points to advance to the second level of Golden Body, and this ti, the part that was enhanced was his arms. They shattered and reford, with the Heavenly Gold mixed within very carefully and intimately, causing his regrown pair to shine with a slightly golden gleam.
His Blood Power also increased by 120 ters, becoming 240 ters in total. This was not the normal growth size, as it should have been only a 100 ter expansion, but once again, the thod of breakthrough was so perfect that the byproduct was this kind of ’extra boost’.
Li Ling took it in stride and spent 3000 Slaughter Points, which caused his shoulders and neck to be the ones that reford this ti, reaching the third level of Golden Body. Minus the usual glowing sheen and the greatly increased physical power, there was also the 120 ter boost for his Blood Power once more, extending the range to 360 ters around his form.
Now, entering the fourth realm involved so special changes, as usual. This was a ’real’ breakthrough from early to mid stage of body cultivation, so the change was significant when manifested. 4000 Slaughter Points, and it was Li Ling’s entire torso that was augnted this ti, and the sheer operation was tedious as well as delicate.
The torso involved a lot of flesh, bones, and organs, yet it all had to be done at once for the purpose of this breakthrough. Usually, it was not so demanding, and most body cultivation thods would emphasize doing smaller parts each realm, but the Blood Asura Descent was a high-level technique and had demands for the level and depth of tempering the entire body underwent.
For Li Ling, it was not as difficult as what his fellow Path Controllers and Path Ascenders faced, and he even had ti to scan outwardly with his Dharma Sense to see that Bai Ruyi was once again handling guests in the courtyard.
This ti, the visitors were looking for him, bringing Path Lady Ren Xue and her deputy Lu Luo, who had ideas to usurp Bai Ruyi’s position, believing that Ruyi wasn’t living up to the standard that Lu Luo perceived Li Ling to have as a Blood Child.
Seeing Bai Ruyi force a smile as she dealt with the two skillfully and politically, Li Ling couldn’t help but feel amused. It was good to give this damned snake of a woman pressure, but now that he knew the source of her troubleso behavior was her insecurity, he wouldn’t actively cultivate it further.
His fourth realm breakthrough was done in the anti, and his power had increased from the previous level by a magnitude, especially in terms of physical capabilities. Looking at the golden sheen covering his torso, Li Ling felt that only certain powerful third realm and above attacks could even harm him.
Unless one had a perfection level second realm daoist art or an expert level and above third realm daoist art, they should forget about it. This was also factoring the Blood Asura Descent’s focus on speed and offense over defense too, and in this regard, Li Ling could only truly see his new prowess on the battlefield.
For his Blood Power, it expanded by a stable 120 ters, as that was already past the normal limit. Still, 480 ters of Blood Power radius outclassed the normal Asura Blood third realm cultivator who only had 400 ters.
5000 Slaughter Points to advance to the fifth level, where, once again, the area around his hips, waist, and crotch had to be developed, but no matter how weird or discomfiting it felt, it had to be done. Li Ling was even lucky he had the system to do it for him; could one imagine how those other male disciples felt?
His Blood Power grew again, reaching 600 ters now, a full 100 ters wider than what his compatriots should have, and that was not even talking about the quality. Now, his Blood Power completely covered his cultivation chamber, forced to coil inwards due to the edges as Li Ling didn’t want it to leak outward.
6000 Slaughter Points, and he hit the sixth realm, which required one to start on the legs, specifically on the thigh-to-knee area. When done, Li Ling couldn’t help but slap his now shining thighs, feeling that if he were to post pictures, he might get so cougars to go crazy for him.
Blood Power was now at 720 ters, and after Li Ling jumped from the mid to late stage of the third realm by paying 7000 Slaughter Points, it further expanded to 840 ters. His lower legs, from his calves to the soles of his feet, were tempered and now golden, and Li Ling even got up to jump a bit, feeling far more springy and speedy than before.
He idly made a front kick and WHOOM, a huge air cannon erged from the tip of his toes and struck the wall of the cultivation chamber, causing the entire building to tremble. Li Ling raised an eyebrow at the slight dent he made in the wall, feeling he really had to renew his understanding of his current physical prowess.
Arms, torso, and legs were done, so the final sprint involved more delicate areas. 8000 Slaughter Points were deducted and it was ti to infuse Heavenly Gold into the head, specifically the skull. While it was near instant and painless for Li Ling, he understood that this one, and the next realm, was where most people faltered.
His Blood Power now reached 960 ters and there were two more sub-realms to go. 9000 Slaughter Points and this ti, it was the human brain, the fleshy object in the skull that was said to be the source of life and consciousness of the body, soul, and spirit.
Li Ling blanked out for a second like a computer rebooting after installing a new BIOS and then felt the changes. While it couldn’t be said that his IQ had increased per se, his native senses outside of his Dharma Sense had upgraded rapidly, rging with his stream of Blood Power to form a kind of alternate spirit sense for body cultivators, though it was not nearly as precise nor delicate.
His Blood Power now surged to 1080 ters, but there was one last hurdle to cross, the realm of Perfection!

10000 Slaughter Points and Li Ling grasped it, the complete state of third realm body cultivation!
This ti, there was no specific body part chosen; it was rather a comprehensive reinforcing of the whole body, complenting what he had done earlier and covering up for any possible mistakes made or any sequelae left.
While Li Ling didn’t need and did not gain much from this, the Infinite Slaughter System still dutifully infused him with the last batch of Heavenly Gold and the mont his body contained 100 jin of it, a shockwave erupted as it seed that having this amount in the body complented a certain dao rule.
Li Ling’s Blood Power surged and boiled, reaching the consummation range of 1200 ters around his body. Unlike his qi cultivation where there was a ’loose’ and ’refined’ version, his body cultivation Blood Power was pure and did not need any additions.
After all, body cultivation put emphasis on its esoteric energy power, and the boost in basic attributes was actually on the side.
