C36 – He Wanted to Run the Top Company
In Zroshire, the only entities with assets surpassing ten billion are Luo’s Group and two other family-run businesses. Generations of dedication and effort went into building their fortunes. The sound of an engine approached, growing louder by the second. It was likely Liang Yiyi. Zhao Su didn’t want her to be privy to the current situation, so he walked a bit further before she arrived. Once inside the car, he asked her to take him straight back to his villa.
”Boss, are you having fun?” Liang Yiyi inquired, her smile beaming.
She had changed her attire, trading her black work dress for an elegant cocktail dress. Her hair fell loosely around her shoulders, and her earrings added a touch of sophistication, enhancing her already radiant appearance. Her transformation was t with cheers from the live broadcast audience.
Zhao Su, lounging comfortably in the sports car seat, responded, “I’m truly content, but as for playing, that’s a different matter.”
Liang Yiyi, not privy to Zhao Su’s recent ordeal, misinterpreted his words. She blushed and coyly remarked, “Boss, it’s pretty boring being by myself.”
It had taken a great deal of courage for her to say this, considering she was a conservative girl who had never been in a relationship.
Zhao Su coughed, entertaining certain thoughts, but he knew it wasn’t the appropriate ti.
After pondering for a mont, Zhao Su asked, “Are you really that bored?”
Liang Yiyi’s cheeks flushed even redder as she nodded shyly.
Zhao Su then suggested, “Why don’t you join Xiao Wenmiao tomorrow in recruiting employees?”
”Huh?” Liang Yiyi was taken aback, realizing that Zhao Su hadn’t grasped her concern.
Seeing the puzzled look on Zhao Su’s face, Liang Yiyi quickly clarified, “Boss, aren’t you supposed to be going back tomorrow to pick up the elder and his wife?”
“I’ve decided to postpone that trip. I’m thinking of going back after a while,” Zhao Su replied.
His gaze fixed ahead, Liang Yiyi didn’t dare to interrupt further and remained silent. Upon arriving at the villa, Zhao Su imdiately reached out to Xiao Wenmiao.
