Chapter 655: 655: This Is What It Looks Like When I Rely on External Power

Swish, swish, swish…

The NUK archers let out a unified roar, unleashing a downpour of arrows like divine spears streaking across the sky. The sheer montum could obliterate anything in their path.

Wind blades and chaotic currents surged toward Orson. He frowned, and Aeloria dove sharply to avoid losing control of the skies.

Clearly, their strategy was to deny him aerial dominance.

“Aeloria,” Orson called.

With a thunderous roar, Aeloria landed hard, spreading her wings to shield Orson with her entire body.

Critical Hit – 200,000,000!

Cursed Arrow!

Movent Slowed!

Fla Arrow!

HP Burning!

A flood of damage numbers and status effects bombarded Aeloria. Her body was riddled with projectiles, transford into a massive, living pincushion. Over a hundred types of debilitating debuffs stacked on her, paralyzing her completely.

Then ca the barrage of missiles and heavy firepower. The ground trembled with every explosion, and Aeloria’s health plumted by hundreds of thousands every second.

“It’s working! Keep pushing!”

“Orgod, even if you stand above every adventurer in the world, you will be buried here today!”

Hana Snow’s delighted laughter echoed across the battlefield. Kim Yong-jae clenched his fists in anticipation. Even if Orson cowered beneath his beast’s protection, their overwhelming firepower and endurance could grind him down.

“Buy Orgod so ti to recover!”

Wild Gale bellowed through clenched teeth. The Godslayer chs surged forward, breaking through the NUK frontlines and charging recklessly at their ranged formation.

Boom!

Wild Gale’s expression changed as he instinctively swung his frostblade. Sparks flew as a shadowy figure stepped in to block the path.

“Perfect block?”

Wild Gale was stunned. The man before him had not only taken the full brunt of the ch’s strike but had nullified the impact without triggering Overload damage.

And this was a Titan ch—the kind of gear only Domain Master-class bosses could rival. Even lower-tier dragons would crumble under a direct hit.

“You’ve crossed the line,” Kimchi Blade said coldly.

“You declared war. Don’t talk to about crossing lines. Get lost.” Wild Gale snorted and took a half-step back, subtly raising his explosive launcher and firing point-blank.

Kimchi Blade calmly tilted his head. The shot whizzed past his ear.

“So fast?!”

Wild Gale was shaken. Buffs appeared on his opponent’s stat panel:

Skybreaker: Perfect Dodge

Skybreaker: Perfect Block

Skybreaker: Attack Boost

Skybreaker: Agility Boost

The man’s sword was gripped tightly, magic runes glowing red-hot along its blade.

Then, with flawless form, he dashed in and struck—twice. Each slash landed on the weakest joints of the ch’s legs.

“This machine is too bulky. It’s useless against .”

Kimchi Blade spoke without turning around.

Wild Gale’s face went pale. His ch collapsed as both legs were cleanly severed.

“So strong…” he muttered, horror in his eyes. Against a true SS-rank hidden-class warrior, his Titan ch was practically dead weight.

“Out of my way!”

Heartbroken Loli roared, charging in her ch to support Wild Gale.

Kimchi Blade didn’t even glance at her.

Instead, a massive black-and-red dragon burst out from behind, jaws wide open.

Crunch—

Heartbroken Loli raised her blade to block, froststeel clashing with dragon fangs. Her ch groaned under the pressure before being hurled thousands of ters and smashed into the mountainside.

“Loli!” Wild Gale shouted.

He activated his jetpack, trying to fly to her aid.

But before he could get airborne, a flash of steel sliced through the pack.

Kimchi Blade’s voice was laced with scorn. “Relying on high-grade enchanted gear. That’s your confidence?”

Wild Gale suddenly chuckled. “Heh… relying on external power.”

“Isn’t that exactly what you’re doing?” Kimchi Blade frowned, stepping forward.

Schlick—

“You’re the first person to ever say that to .”

Wild Gale shook his head calmly. The ch’s cockpit opened, and he stepped out.

Kimchi Blade raised a brow in mockery. “Oh? Then show what you’ve got. If I’m right, you’re just a basic B-rank class.”

Wild Gale ignored the taunt. His gaze shifted toward his distant guild leader—still pretending to be pinned down. He rembered what Orson had once told him:

“All of Godslayer is proud of you. Even Darkbo calls you ‘teacher.’ That honor rightfully belongs to you.”

A smile tugged at Wild Gale’s lips.

He whispered, “Does a B-rank really deserve sothing so rare?”

“What are you babbling about? I know your guild can revive you with artifacts, but I can stand here all day and kill you over and over.”

Kimchi Blade’s tone sharpened. His instincts scread danger.

Wild Gale didn’t answer. He simply extended a hand, palm up.

Three radiant soulstones hovered above it, glowing with flawless divine light that illuminated his face.

“Divine… Divine Soul Seals?!”

Kimchi Blade recoiled as if seeing a ghost. “Three of them? A full set?!”

“You outclass in profession tier. Surely you won’t mind using high-tier gear to even the field,” Wild Gale said with a smile.

The first Divine Soul Seal dissolved into his palm.

Then the second.

“Misius’s Soul Seal Technique… Descent of the Wise Angel.”

A column of holy light surged skyward.

Wild Gale’s black eyes flashed, replaced by glowing white flas. His dark hair turned gold and cascaded down his back in a glowing wave.

Shing—

Three pairs of radiant angel wings unfurled behind him.

“This is what it looks like when I rely on external power. Let’s fight fair.”

He raised his legendary sword, releasing a flurry of shimring light. A gentle grace touched his features, making him look serene—and almost ethereal.

“Don’t worry. I can only embed two Divine Soul Seals at a ti, and I’ve never trained with them. The effects are minimal.”

Wild Gale’s voice was light, like a breeze across a field—calm, warm, and utterly devoid of aggression.

“Angel form… minimal effect?”

Kimchi Blade stood frozen.

He understood every word, thanks to the Infinite Dinsions translation system.

But put together, they made no sense.

The man before him radiated such blinding light that he could barely keep his eyes open.

And this was supposed to be a “minimal” power boost?
