"Calm down… calm down!"

Orson clenched his teeth, fighting to steady himself.

But the deepest fear inside him only grew, threatening to swallow him whole the mont he let his guard slip.

Sienna was his reason to keep going. What they shared went far beyond simple love or family ties.

"If anything happens to my sister…"

Orson's eyes burned with killing intent. "I swear, I'll turn every blade of grass in Heaven to ash!"

"This isn't my doing. It's the price she pays for touching the forbidden," Xinala's voice echoed above Forever City.

"The forbidden?"

A flicker of confusion crossed Orson's mind.

If the Chaos Sect inheritance was truly forbidden, why hadn't it hard him as the Chaos Sect Leader?

"Another tragedy is about to unfold under the watch of the gods. Another lost lamb walking toward the chopping block."

"But I won't deny it—you are by far the most exceptional puppet."

Xinala's mocking words drifted down, sending chills through the crowd.

Godslayer's forces surged out of the manor, bracing for an attack.

But nothing ca.

The sky was clear, cloudless, eerily calm.

Orson's heart pounded. He clung desperately to a shred of clarity.

Why did she say "another"?

Were there others chosen by BlazeKing before him who'd failed? Why had he never seen any trace of them?

At least Bradley's words confird Xinala had so power of foresight—she knew both his and Sienna's past, maybe even their future.

It wasn't yet certain if Sienna's condition was Xinala's doing.

But it was obvious: the supernatural beings of Infinite Dinsions could reach into the real world.

He'd witnessed it himself—Draconis's will intervening to save Drunken Dream, even gifting him a divine artifact.

Orson didn't hesitate.

He chose to log out, snapping back to the real world.

"Super God-grade Soul Seal[Heavenly Spirit's Heart]."

"Phase Two: Reach level 80—Completed!"

"Quest updated!"

"Phase Three: Travel to the coordinates and enter Radiant Shuttle's first crypt. Face the trial of life and death!"

"Notice: Ti limit, 30 days. Failure ans the quest fails."

"Legend Unfolds: Bury the Immortal, the General, and Yourself."

"Penalty for failure: endless cycles, empty hands."

The system notifications rang in his ears, but Orson barely registered them.

He burst from his pod, racing to the next room.

"Sienna!"

Blank and the others stood crowded around Sienna's pod. When they saw Orson, they imdiately stepped aside.

"What… what is this…"

Orson froze. His mind went blank, his limbs turned ice-cold.

"I… it hurts so much. Please, don't throw your lives away for … please…"

Sienna lay in her pod, eyes shut, drenched in sweat, her face pale as death, muttering in her sleep.

The display showed she was still linked into the ga.

But her plumting vitals—and the tornt twisting her features—made it clear how dire her situation was.

"Force a disconnect, get her to a hospital!"

Madman dropped to the floor, frantically searching for the power cable.

"No."

Blank stepped in, stopping him cold.

She took a deep breath. "There was a similar case once. The player had severe epilepsy. Forcing a disconnect damaged their neurons and… they ended up…"

Her voice broke.

She looked at Orson, trying to say more, but he waved her off.

"Call the doctors."

Blank's eyes shone with tears.

She felt guilty—it was only days ago that Sienna had begged her for gold to help so old man. That decision had sent her down this bizarre path.

Orson took Sienna's hand, voice trembling.

"You silly girl… I'm right here. I'll always stay right here."

"I called the military hospital already," Lee added, hanging up his own call. "They think it's an organ rejection reaction. They're on the way, the best team in the country."

Orson nodded gratefully.

He wouldn't rely on doctors alone.

A flash of light—he opened his spatial inventory.

A vial of Rootless Water appeared in his hand. The others froze, eyes widening in joy.

Of course.

They'd nearly forgotten Orson was a monster who could use in-ga items. With Rootless Water's revival power, Sienna would surely recover just like Drunken Dream.

"Yeah! Even if she dies… she can still co back…"

Stewart blurted it out.

Bradley shot him a vicious glare.

Everyone understood.

If this divine item activated, it ant Sienna would've already died once.

No one wanted to see that bright, playful girl endure such agony.

Orson wasn't sure either.

Even if it revived her, would it stop the kidney rejection?

He rembered how, in the early days after the worlds rged, so had tried using priest spells to resurrect terminal patients.

It never worked. The disease remained—often accelerating, leaving them in even worse pain.

A cruel curse that only made them fear death more.

"Rootless Water's effect nullified!"

The mont he poured the liquid into Sienna's mouth, a red system ssage popped up.

The crystalline water instantly evaporated, wisping away from her nose and lips into thin air.

Orson didn't give up.

He pulled out another vial, gently cradling her head, more careful this ti.

"Chaos Unbroken."

"Rootless Water's effect nullified!"

The ssage flashed again.

A wave of horror crashed through him.

Their last hope—gone.

"I'm not Chaos… no, I am Sienna. My brother will co save …"

Her frail voice cut through him. Her hand tightened, nails digging deep into his skin.

It felt like his heart was being torn to pieces.

"I…"

His words stuck in his throat.

His nose stung.

Everything blurred.

That old helplessness flooded back—drowning his soul.

He hated being powerless. Hated not being a true god who could command life and death.

"Grandpa Fosset… Sienna's so sorry she brought you into this…"

Tears slipped down her cheeks.

It was a pitiful sight.

"Move the pod to the truck—now! Keep the power on!"

"Evacuate!"

Sirens wailed outside.

Ard teams flooded the streets, racing toward Godslayer's headquarters.

Blank and the others sprang into action, helping dics prepare to move Sienna—pod and all—into a special ambulance.

Just as they cleared the room—

Orson stiffened.

A jolt shot through his hand.

Sienna's voice changed entirely.

"My dear disciple… are you there? Your sister's going to be the death of !"

Orson's eyes widened.

Was he hallucinating?

"Goddammit! Why's there soone else's soul in this girl's body? You have any idea how important soul purity is? You're trying to get killed!"

It was that unmistakable raspy squawk—Fla Fosset.

Orson wiped away his tears, forcing himself to stay calm.

"It's you, old turtle? What the hell's wrong with my sister?"

Fosset wheezed.

"To calm the Holy Mother's wrath, my disciples already sacrificed hundreds… I'll be next any day now!"

Orson froze.

Soul purity?

What a load of crap!

"Spit it out, now. No mistakes—no half-answers. I swear if you screw this up—"

"Alright, alright!"

Fosset sighed.

"The sss-class[Chaos Saint]legacy requires an immaculate vessel. Your sister was perfect—until we found out she's got soone else's soul fragnt in her."

Orson's eyes went wide.

Of course.

Sienna had undergone a kidney transplant. Part of her body literally belonged to soone else.

According to Fosset, that was why the Chaos Saint legacy failed—why the Holy Mother's will had turned on her.

"What do I need to do?"

Orson's voice was like steel.

He knew this old bastard was shady, but he also knew Fosset was only careless on the surface. If he was reaching out, it ant there was still a way.

"Well… you're probably not ready for it."

Fosset hesitated.

"Don't hold back. Say it, you old bastard!"

Orson's patience snapped. His face darkened.

Fosset went quiet for a long mont.

"Find an anchor point in Infinite Dinsions—then destroy it. Force the two worlds to rge ahead of schedule."

He paused.

"Best guess? Adventurers will get one chance at rebirth… but it might be a terrible mistake."
