"Processing battle rewards... please wait..."
Since the mont he killed Misius, the notification sounds hadn't stopped ringing in Orson's ears. Oddly, his experience bar hadn't budged an inch at first.
"Did I just do sothing even the gods couldn't predict? Seems they're not quite all-knowing after all."
Orson remained calm, barely paying attention to the loot itself.
The supre entities who created this world and Infinite Dinsions' very laws couldn't erase him with a wave of the hand—even as he openly disrupted the ga's balance.
Just knowing that was enough for him.
"Your level has increased to 79."
"Your level has increased to 80."
"Your level has increased to..."
The ssages kept popping up. His experience bar shot forward like a rocket, granting him over 18 billion EXP from slaying one God Angel.
In a flash, he'd leveled up five tis, reaching an astonishing level 83!
"Display Soul Seal panel."
With a simple thought, Orson pulled up his stats. The level gain barely impacted his raw attributes; the real prize was hitting level 80, which triggered his Soul Seal's grandmaster advancent!
Displayed before him were two dazzling white Super God-grade Soul Seals, shimring with a faint celestial glow—far more divine than their original crude forms. They now resembled radiant, intricate eyes.
"[Heavenly Spirit's Right Eye]: Super God-grade"
"Mastery cap unlocked!"
"Mastery gain difficulty increased!"
"Passive 1: Gain 10 HP for every 10 monsters slain (previously 1 monster). (Grandmaster cap 3,500,000/35,000,000 HP)"
"[Heavenly Spirit's Right Eye]: Super God-grade"
"Mastery cap unlocked!"
"Mastery gain difficulty increased!"
"Passive 1: Gain 1 ter attack range per 50 monsters slain (previously 10). (Grandmaster cap 20,000/100,000 ters)"
"Passive 2: Gain 1 MP for every 10 monsters slain (previously 1). (Grandmaster cap 200,000/2,000,000 MP)"
"Passive 3: Gain 20% crit damage for every 2000 monsters slain (previously 1000). (Grandmaster cap 3000/6000%)"
"Note: Your Soul Seal has reached Grandmaster rank. To reach God rank, you must hit level 120 and complete relevant trials."
Orson gulped, his throat dry.
Normally, reaching level 80 signaled a player's transition into Infinite Dinsions' late-ga. The power gap between average players and elite veterans widened dramatically beyond this point.
Sure, gear and skills mattered—but Soul Seals were the real ga-changer.
The Heavenly Spirit's Right Eye's HP boost had increased tenfold!
Even divine-grade knight Soul Seals didn't offer this kind of absurd health growth. As for its attack range bonus… Orson felt a shiver crawl up his spine. A 100 km attack range?
And if he combined it with the God-Emperor's token?
He might as well be firing guided missiles at targets 200 km away!
His mana pool cap skyrocketed tenfold too. With the Archmage's Necklace, his total MP would reach 4 million.
With that kind of fuel, his Chaos Burning would dish out 400,000 burn damage per second—more than enough to incinerate the heavens themselves!
And the crit damage boost? A maximum 60x multiplier! Orson's grin twisted into a manic smile. Once fully maxed, his basic attacks would rival Forbidden Curses.
No Demon God would dare breathe wrong in front of him.
He could level entire cities with a flick of the wrist.
"Wait a minute..."
Orson froze, frowning. As amazing as these boosts were, a brutal reality quickly dawned on him.
Where the hell was he supposed to farm this many monsters?
With the mastery requirents massively increased, leveling these Soul Seals wouldn't be a small task. For the HP bonus alone, he needed to slay 31.5 million monsters.
"Goddamn it..."
Even if he used Ice Prison Ring to chain-farm endlessly, rough calculations told him it'd take well over a year, possibly two, to max out at current respawn rates.
He rubbed his temples, feeling the headache mount.
"First world problems, huh?"
His eyes flickered as he noticed a red-text prompt under his Soul Seal display:
"Note: In addition to monsters, killing NPCs and players will also yield mastery."
Orson's expression grew... complicated.
Well, damn. Not satisfied with monsters anymore, huh? Now it wanted him to butcher players and NPCs too?
Clearly, this was a temptation toward pure villainy.
Slaying players would obviously be the fastest way to advance—if he was willing to utterly tank his reputation.
Unfortunately, he wasn't Demon Emperor. That sort of thing just wasn't his style.
As for farming NPCs? Not easy either. High stats made them tough kills, and their intelligence ant they'd bolt the mont they sensed trouble.
The fact Forever City's NPC population remained relatively low said it all.
"Jackpot! I hit the motherlode! Soon I'll be the richest dragon alive!"
Berenice suddenly barreled into him, squealing in excitent.
Orson panicked for a mont, fearing she might imitate her sister and flatten him into a corpse.
"You damned little egg thief! I'm gonna crack that shell wide open!"
"You tiny bandit! Hold still—I'm gonna bash your head in!"
Madman and Ruby had begun synchronizing—right down to their insults—while chasing her relentlessly.
Clearly, Misius' loot contained so insane treasures.
"Gotcha!"
Orson snatched Berenice mid-run.
Ding—
Orc Heretic title triggered!
The notification buzzed in his ear. A 1% true drop chance had just activated.
Did… did he actually just pull a Forbidden Curse?
Opening his inventory, he imdiately saw sothing that made his eyes bulge.
"You've acquired Eternal Feather x10!"
Ten pieces of god-tier crafting material. The success rate for Sienna's Forbidden Magic set would now soar.
Countless skill books from C-rank to A-rank filled the bag, alongside 23 Heroic and Legendary weapons between levels 80-100.
Though most were mid-tier "budget" gear, the sheer volu was staggering.
"You've acquired A-rank Light Magic skillbook [Soul Baptism]!"
"Not bad."
He studied it carefully. The spell summoned a barrage of Holy Light swords to attack enemy souls, ignoring magic resistance and shields—similar to Hurricane Spear's disable effect.
Basic on paper—but once maxed, it could prove terrifying.
"You've acquired SS-rank Space Magic skillbook [Dinsional Warp]!"
He raised the shining tallic to, and everyone held their breath.
Instantly, a suffocating spatial energy filled the air, causing the very fabric of space to ripple like boiling water.
"Goddamn... Forbidden Curse confird."
Orson shook his head in amazent. Space magic was already rare; Forbidden Curse-tier space magic was virtually unheard of.
And yet even this wasn't the biggest prize.
"Ooooh, such pretty gemstones... I love them!"
Berenice cooed, ignoring the Forbidden Curse book entirely, instead playing with so shimring crystals.
"You've acquired [Light Angel Misius' Arm] — GodHuman Soul Seal x1!"
"You've acquired [Light Angel Misius' Spine] — GodDivine Soul Seal x1!"
"You've acquired [Light Angel Misius' Heart] — GodSoul Seal x1!"
Holy shit.
An entire set of Divine Soul Seals—straight from Misius himself!
Orson froze in place, eyebrows furrowing as he checked the battle log, only to realize these hadn't even co from the 1% drop effect.
"You've acquired a unique item."
The ssage carried a curious tone.
"This is what triggered the drop chance?"
With growing caution, he reached into his inventory and pulled out a small crystal cube, barely radiating any Holy Light energy.
"[Gate of Heaven — Coordinate Key]"
"Rarity: Common."
"Warning: Attempting to identify this item may bring endless disaster. Do you wish to proceed?"
