Chapter 479: 479: The Shaless Duo!

Amid everyone’s surprise, Madman’s body lted into a pool of black liquid. Threads of dark energy traced a path upward—connecting directly to Bradley, who was mid-air.

Swish!

Orson and the others stared blankly. Madman, who had been standing beside them just a mont ago, was now suddenly up in the air next to Bradley.

“An A-rank rogue awakening skill? Wait, isn’t that one considered trash?” Blank exclaid.

She had picked up the skill book once but had dismissed it. For a lone-wolf assassin like her, it had seed useless. Even at max level, it only added 10% true damage, and the range required a huge skill-point investnt.

“There’s no such thing as a trash skill—only trash players.” Orson’s tone was calm.

[Murky Waters Waltz!] did have unimpressive stats, but its chanics were unique. Before combat, a user could bind to an ally and swap positions with them within a 15-minute window.

Paired with a warrior like Bradley—who lacked mobility but had overwhelming burst—it was a ga-changer.

“Out of mana already. Breaking a Body Domination cost everything,” Bradley muttered, chugging mana potions.

The GodHuman Soul Seal, Falling Dragon Claw, gifted by Glacier, was exclusive to Light-Dark Sword Saints. Only those wielding both light and dark elents could use it. It scaled HP with kills, buffed Holy Fla damage, and had the Soul Seal skill Bonebreaker, capable of breaking Body Domination at advanced levels.

At level 80 and Grandmaster proficiency, even quasi-god Body Domination could be pierced—terrifyingly powerful.

The only drawback? It drained mana like crazy, and while magic swordsn could cast spells, their mana pool was shallow compared to pure casters.

“Eat this, you poser!”

Madman scread as he plumted from the air, pounding Kriphas with a flurry of 66 normal attacks and skills. His blades shredded Kriphas’s flesh, each slash unleashing a toxic green mist.

Double Crit – 29,000!

-7,000!

Poison DOT – 23,000!

Poison DOT – 21,000!

“Bleed damage? That’s cute. Poison is king!”

Madman cackled at Blank, taunting her mid-fight.

“High poison ticks…” Blank frowned, glaring daggers at Madman.

She had always thought Madman was just a scheming clown. Turns out, she had seriously underestimated him.

Orson smirked knowingly. Yeah, they’d all leveled up a lot in Dark Dragon Empire.

The Epic Rank Soul Seal: Index Finger of the Ancient Thief God was supposed to be a support-type, with poison DOT that barely stacked.

But Madman, as Vice Leader of Godslayer, abused his authority—joining any boss fight just to tag the final blow.

Thanks to his shalessness, his Soul Seal had reached Master rank.

“Son of a… that bastard is giving the stink eye again! Hey tubby, switch!”

Seeing Kriphas start to recover, Madman bailed—vanishing into black mist.

“Wimp. Stop whining.”

Bradley, who had just regained enough mana, instantly warped back in and smashed Kriphas skyward with a v-slash, launching into another brutal combo.

Wounds-Unseen Barrier!

Kriphas, now down a third of his HP, desperately tried to reactivate Body Domination. But before he could even finish the activation pose—Bonebreaker slamd through it.

Bradley’s mana bar drained to zero. Murky Waters Waltz! activated again, yanking him back to safety and swapping him with Madman.

“This Saint Lord boss is getting humiliated…” Drunken Dream muttered. He’d been holding back, waiting for his chance—but it never ca.

A Saint Lord-class NPC could raze an entire city. But in the face of the shaless Godslayer duo, the poor guy couldn’t even land a hit.

“Take this, you old bastard!”

“And this big-ass sword too!”

“Not done yet! Watch Daddy Madman go!”

“Shut the hell up! You’re getting out-DPS’d by Money Traveler by eight million! Sit down!”

Kriphas wanted to cry. Not only was he getting gang-beaten, he had to endure this endless barrage of nonsense.

“These two clowns actually have so skills,” Orson said, chuckling.

Jokes aside, their coordination was impeccable. The use of Murky Waters was brilliantly tid—Bradley soaking up damage when Madman got low, and vice versa.

They were scarily effective. Shaless. But effective.

“I won’t go down like this! I refuse—!”

Kriphas roared in defiance.

The others shook their heads. The boss wasn’t weak, and he had decent AI. But his enemies were simply dirtier.

Boom!

The loot burst into a glowing fountain.

“A legendary accessory! Mine!” Bradley reached out in excitent.

“Dream on, fatty!”

Madman whooped, instantly swapping places again using Murky Waters Waltz! His fingers moved at lightning speed, sweeping every item into his bag before anyone could blink.

“Goddamn loot goblin!” Berenice raged from Orson’s shoulder, bouncing with fury.

Orson shrugged helplessly. “Honestly, if that drop was literal crap, they’d still pocket it without hesitation.”

“Hey! We’re supposed to split fairly!” Blank glared at Madman.

“Split my ass. First co, first served. 1v1 if you’re salty,” Madman grinned.

“I dealt more damage! Half of that loot’s mine!” Bradley complained.

“Relax, could you have solo’d a Saint Lord without ? Let’s appraise it later,” Madman clapped him on the back.

“Fair enough!” Bradley scratched his head sheepishly.

Stewart whispered, “Dude… that’s like the 18th ti he’s looted your kill…”

Orson facepald. “They’re seriously just bullying the honest one…”

“Wait, right! You owe money!”

“Dinner’s on tonight—grilled lamb ribs at the new villa,” Madman offered.

“Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about!” Bradley grinned wide.

The whole team was speechless. One scher, one sucker—and sohow they made the perfect team.

[Party Leader has changed loot settings!]

[Loot Mode: Leader Distribution]

Orson, shaking his head, changed the loot mode.

Madman’s eyes widened. “C’mon, boss, you’re killing my business! This is how wolves thrive!”

“Screw your wolf culture.”

Everyone but Bradley—who was still dreaming about lamb ribs—voted to let Orson handle loot.

“…Wait a minute,” Blank blinked. “You didn’t pick Murky Waters for synergy. You learned it to…”

“To steal loot, obviously,” Orson muttered. “His brain is basically pudding. I know exactly how it works.”

They pressed on toward the final tier of the Garden of Ten Thousand Flowers.

At the second checkpoint, another Level 80 Purple-Gold Saint Lord warrior appeared.

Blank and Drunken Dream, having learned from last ti, didn’t wait—striking first.

Bradley and Madman followed. All four were absolute killers.

Bradley broke Body Domination, Drunken Dream locked targets down, and the two assassins unleashed poison and bleed damage in a devastating chain.

The boss never even touched the ground before he died.

Finally, they reached the last gate.

“Step forward—and die!”

“You’ve murdered nobles of the Purple-Gold Family. You’re already dead n!”

“The might of the Dragon Houses is absolute! Kneel and beg for a better death!”

Two towering Purple-Gold dragons coiled in the sky, radiant and terrible.

On their backs stood two Saint Lord-class Dragon Knights, glowing with divine authority.

Bradley’s eyes sparkled. “That armor looks sick. Think it drops?”

Blank raised a brow. “The dragon hearts can forge top-tier Forbidden Magic gear. I just want the materials.”

[Warning: You have enraged the Purple-Gold Dragon King!]

[Warning: The Purple-Gold Dragon King will descend in 5 minutes!]

A global alert rang in everyone’s heads.

Orson’s face turned grim.

“Stewart, buff them now. We end this fast!”
