Orson smiled faintly, not exposing the little ga that Slaughter and his crew were playing. Slaughter, Demon Emperor, and Blank were close, and Blank was a mber of Radiant Shuttle. Orson was willing to give them face for that. In the real world, they still needed the protection of K.D., to keep themselves safe from being wiped out by enemy guilds in the real world.
Of course, this was all contingent on the fact that Slaughter Guild didn't overstep their bounds, or else they'd end up like Dragon's Kiss Guild, wiped off the map.
"We'll et again so other ti."
Slaughter Spree's face was stiff, and he quickly motioned for his team to retreat.
Orson nodded indifferently, not making things difficult for them. He then deactivated the Ice Prison Ring and allowed them to return to town.
"Should we… regroup and attack again?" the mbers of Zongheng whispered, still in shock.
These two dragon knight candidates were killed by a mage with basic attacks? How terrifying was this super mage? What kind of person was Drunken Dream to be able to kill them? Did it an that Drunken Dream's strength even surpassed the limits of the rankings?
No matter how many people were instigating trouble or how many UC Guild players were present, they all froze in place, unable to understand how those exaggerated crits had been delivered.
UC-Wind Chaser: "Don't involve , my ga pod is broken today, I'll fight again so other ti!"
"Are we just going to let him off?" A level 27 priest hesitated.
UC-Flying Man: "Sorry, guys, my stomach hurts today, I couldn't even use one-tenth of my strength. Next ti, I'll definitely get him!"
The two dragon knight candidates who were lying on the ground felt a chill run down their spines. What, they were supposed to get up and face further humiliation?
They weren't idiots, so they ca up with so of the last excuses to save face, because if they didn't, they'd be laughed at in the guild for the rest of their careers.
"They're taking advantage of us being in bad shape?"
"Dammit, I can't stand it. Why are they letting these lifestyle players monopolize the grind points? I won't let it slide!"
"But he's just one mage with a lizard pet, and we've got the numbers. Let's go all in, even if it ans taking them both down with us!"
However, the UC Guild mbers clearly misunderstood. Shouting and rushing from all sides, they were intent on throwing themselves into battle.
I Love Family: "What? Didn't the two lead dragon knights get one-shot already?"
Sigh "Fighting is just so troubleso," Orson sighed, his "Field of the Elder" opening once more.
Before Slaughter Spree and the others could make a move, they were frozen in place again. Chaos Flas began to burn around them.
Slaughter Spree: "You… are you guys crazy? Why provoke him!"
Slaughter Qingcheng: "Damn it, my potion is still on cooldown. I'm going to burn to death..."
The mbers of Slaughter Guild cursed and suffered under the burn debuff. Priests in their group frantically cast healing spells, but it wasn't enough to keep up with the nearly 8,000 damage per second from the burn.
Seeing that the whole team was about to be wiped out, Shenfu's mind began to race, and he quickly adapted.
"Slaughter Spree requests to join the team."
Orson was montarily surprised. This guy may look like he was asking for trouble, but he was actually quite clever. By joining Orson's team, they would be considered allies and would be immune to the Ice Prison Ring's negative debuffs.
"Smart. I'll give you a thumbs up," Orson laughed heartily and accepted the team request.
Slaughter Spree exhaled in relief, then turned to the trouble-making UC guild, cursing, "Damn you, UC Guild! I've had enough of you!"
anwhile, the Zongheng mbers were still struggling in the freezing cold, but Slaughter Spree led his team to wipe out UC players.
"Slaughter Spree, what the hell? You were all friendly with us a mont ago, now you're wiping us out?" a warrior from UC tried to protest but was imdiately taken down by a few brutal strikes from Slaughter Spree.
"That was close..." Shenfu breathed heavily, his heart racing. He glanced at Orson and, seeing that the latter didn't react, he was finally at ease.
This dramatic turn of events left the lifestyle players, like Famu Li, completely dumbfounded. What the hell was going on?
Slaughter was already stronger than Zongheng, and with Orson's Ice Prison Ring, they quickly wiped out most of the UC guild's players.
"Sorry, Orgod, we interrupted your grind. Consider this loot as compensation," Slaughter Spree forced a smile and sent Orson a trade request.
"Thanks."
Orson wasn't shy and accepted the trade, receiving over twenty blue-tier items and a few purple ones from UC guild.
He then passed the loot on to Famu Li and the other lifestyle players, telling them to level up first and equip it once they could.
Rush B: "Wow! Didn't expect Slaughter Guild to be so moral!"
I Love Family: "Really, props to them. But these are all level 20 items, we'll need to level up for ages before we can equip them."
"It won't be long." Orson chuckled lightly.
I Love Family: "My brother took almost ten days to reach level 20, but for , I'll probably be there in a week as a guild mber."
The lifestyle players were thrilled by the free equipnt, excited not just to use it themselves but also to sell it for a profit on the auction house.
Orson shook his head and didn't speak. His "Field of the Elder" was now fully activated, covering the grinding point.
The Crimson Lizard King stretched its wings and flew into the air, unleashing its destructive breath on the trees below. Elite monsters like the Level 35 "Necrotic Warden" began to pour out of the forest.
"Celestial Descent."
Multiple effects triggered, and three teors crashed down from the sky.
"Oh my God! That's the magic the guild leader summoned? It's... terrifying!"
"I've seen it in videos before, but seeing it in person is just spectacular!"
Everyone was stunned into silence, watching the damage log of the battle run wild.
Crit: -41,000
Crit: -41,000
Splash damage: -2,000
The Necrotic Wardens, with 150,000 health, were nearly wiped out by the teors. After one more hit from the Fla Dragon, all fifty of the elite monsters were burned to a crisp.
"You killed a Necrotic Warden. Experience 400"
"You killed..."
The lifestyle players shared in the experience, their confusion growing. They were used to slowly grinding monsters for small amounts of experience, but now, just a few minutes of work and they had leveled up.
"What? We leveled up already?"
In just two minutes, half of the team leveled up, all of them still in shock.
Orson muttered to himself, opening his status window to check his stats.
Na: Orgod

Defense: 240/30% resistances
Crit Rate: 35%
Range: 7,240 ters
Free Attribute Points: 150

Previously, Orson had been grinding with Bradley and the others all morning, raising his attack to 2,000.
The Heavenly Spirit's Right Eye boosted his crit damage by 600%, so with his base crit, he could hit seven tis crit damage. When combined with the threefold damage bonus from Celestial Descent, he could deal over 40,000 damage on a direct hit, not even counting the splash damage.
His stats weren't just powerful; they were absolutely astonishing.
With a 7-kiloter range, he could cover most of the Pilgrimage Ancient Road grinding points from his position. The Ice Prison Ring kept everything close by frozen, while the Crimson Lizard King cleaned up.
He wasn't running dungeons because they would waste ti running between areas, and the mobs there weren't as plentiful or constant.
"Completed B-rank subjugation task: Cleared Necrotic Wardens 300/300."
"Free Points 7, Skill Points 10, Silver Coins 50, Experience 20,000."
With his hunting level now at Silver Rank, Orson could take on higher-difficulty B-rank tasks and earn even more rewards.
Right now, though, these small rewards weren't what interested him. His primary goal was to reach 100,000 kills as soon as possible and max out his Soul Seal proficiency.
Once he did that, he'd deliver a heavy blow to his enemies—players or NPCs alike. With 100,000 mana, 10 kiloters of range, and 20x crit damage, Orson was preparing for an unstoppable power surge!
