Tianlong Bai’s gaze excitedly hovered over Feng Tian. It had been a little over 15 minutes since he gave him a tiny portion of his qi.
’What a stroke of luck,’ the old man thought as he stood complacently against a tree nearby, gleaming.
"With a talent like his, I’m afraid the plan will be pushed forward..." Narrowing his eyes, the old man fell into a daze.
For the past few minutes, sothing had been weighing on his mind. After rummaging through a barrage of thoughts, he finally ca to a conclusion.
"No... I cannot hasten the plan. I must not." He muttered in a low, almost inaudible voice.
Opening his eyes halfway, he stared at the steadily growing energy around Feng Tian’s body.
"Hmm..." He let out a deep, long sigh. "I’ll have to make changes in the plan." As he said so, his eyes shone with dread. The previous excitent had vanished from his eyes completely.
"That aside, he’s almost done."

The body cleansing technique was one of the first and the most brutal steps one had to withstand to break through their mortal limits.
In theory, the technique was ant to unclog the qi vessels and ridians. Since, over the ti of human lives, toxins accumulate within their bodies, rendering them unable to cultivate.
Of course, this process was extrely similar to the ’recreation of body’ that Lucian attempted previously.
However, he could feel it. This thod was significantly safer and potentially more effective than the previous one.
Since Lucian had skipped the entire part of strengthening his physique earlier, his strength was limited.
Relying severely on the raw force of his new constitution—Dying Star’s Primordial Physique—he was able to achieve the mana rank-A.
But now that he had the chance to improve his strength at will, he was exhilarated. Thinking about how much stronger he could get this way, he invested himself further into hastening the process.
As more and more ti passed by, the steam coming out of Lucian’s body had only gotten stronger. On the top of his skin, a dense layer of black, murky substance had ford.
The majority of the toxins within his body had been expelled, causing the air around him to sll rotten.
On the inside, however, the Qi pathways had almost perfectly been shaped. Lucian’s control over his breath had increased. He could now sense a faint warmth forming within his lower abdon.
However, he still did not care about it. After all, he had reached the most crucial point. Now that almost everything was done, he was yet to seal the tie.
Although the pathways were ready, they were unstable. Only if he could slowly calm his rapidly growing energy could he escape alive with a breakthrough.
Both Tianlong Bai and Lucian knew of this. While Tianlong Bai had already helped substantially, Lucian was already thinking forward.
’I can stabilize my condition in a breath, but if I do so, there will be a lot more toxins left within my body.’ Controlling his breath subconsciously, Lucian couldn’t help but think.
’But I cannot afford to take risks right now. My most powerful cheats are sealed at the mont. And even though practically they could undo their seals by themselves, they do not have a reason to. If I die out of my own foolishness, they wouldn’t bat an eye. After all, such powers only respect the strong and intelligent.’
’Sigh... Although tough, I must yield this ti.’ Lucian thought as he quickly began to stabilize his breathing.
With each heartbeat, his breath slowed, and the streaks of steam outside began to falter.
Noticing this sudden change, the old man’s eyes lit up once again. He could tell that Feng Tian was finally getting done.

[Ti Remaining – 15 minutes]

Just like that, 5 more minutes passed in an instant, and Lucian was finally done with his work. Letting out a deep, relenting sigh, he finally opened his eyes.
Up front, he noticed the old man standing at a distance, grinning. Sowhat exhausted and baffled by the process, he couldn’t understand the motive behind such expressions.
Raising an eyebrow, he slowly stood up. Just before he could take a step further, the old man extended his arm forward. Showing him the palm, he signed not to move.
"Do not move any further." The old man called out, his voice dripping with concern.
Confused, Lucian slightly tilted his head like an owl. After a sowhat moderate pause, he spoke: "I—Is sothing wrong, master?"
Hearing his words, the old man’s expression changed. His lips ominously curled into a smile, and veins bulged over his temples.
"My dear disciple~" he called out, his voice overly sweet. "Although I am happy that you made an advancent at such a young age, there’s an urgent matter for you to attend. Quickly go take a bath, or I’ll personally make sure to drown you in the depths of the deepest seas."
Lucian jerked his head as he rembered the foul stench that his body emitted previously. Although it was weaker this ti, the foul sll still lingered on his body.
Without thinking any further about it, he decided to nod in agreent and quietly headed off towards the sa river once again.
It wasn’t that Lucian didn’t find the old man’s sudden playful deanor suspicious. But he didn’t have any concrete proof to back his unclear hypothesis.
The chances of his failure were greater this ti. Thus, he decided to yield for the ti being and head over to the river.
Since this might be his first and last chance to ever figure out the lengths of his new body to the fullest.
Due to his suspicions towards his master, he found it unsafe to reveal all of his powers to him. Although it was true that the old man might still notice his lie, Lucian still wanted to take the chance.
After all, he too needed to be alone for now.
Otherwise, how would he claim the chance of getting stronger in the blink of an eye?
