"The Secret Realm, as you may have seen, is a world where you can never expect what law of reality suddenly changes and what the realm inside will be like." Ken started his explanation.
The secret really could be a normal world, just dark and chilly in atmosphere, which kept one on edge, and for so reason this was a fact across all secret realms.
It also had an abomination, a rule-based monster who cannot be defeated by normal ans.
There have been cases where people reported seeing clues or words in places that they believed were to guide them where to go or what to do to defeat these abominations.
There have been cases of people not being able to speak in realms.
Others were flights that weren't possible, and others were ones where you could only float around.
For others, the temperature was just on a perfect edge where you might just go crazy if you spent a long enough ti within.
These were all examples, and worst of all was the fact that the abominations were always at an advantage within their realm and when it ca to these twisted laws.
They could easily maneuver around the temperature and make it spike around you, rendering you unable to handle it.
They could be guarding the only source of water in a desert, and they could be the only flying or teleporting entity in a world you can only walk or crawl on.
This was when it ca to the abominations, and what was worse was that you cannot, in your wildest of dreams, defeat them with regular physical or spiritual power.
They're immune to physical, spiritual, and elental attacks from dwarfelven artifacts.
This was on their side; on the other were the debuffs one unconditionally had.
Whether elder or mortal, you need to eat and sleep like normal. It was sothing that couldn't yet be understood.
But, there were still so of the advantages of a cultivator: the perception, the plans, the techniques, and most of the ti, the power. It only got reduced as tiredness and hunger piled up.
Thus, aside from dealing with the abominations, most elders had an easier ti dealing with other problems due to their experience and what not.
But they had the sa chance of dying as a mortal in the end, just because of the secret realms' frequent unexpected surprises.
In conclusion, the secret realm they were going in will have the following common elents:
The removal of one rule, the reverse of one rule, the hunger and tiredness kicking in, and a rule-based abomination, and a surprise elent that could make everything stated before be thrown in the ditch or doubled in harshness.
This was what was previously spoken of.
Ken could go into more details, but it would do them no favor, so he kept it there.
"Really... I don't know if I should be scared of the secret realm or your ability to gather knowledge." Diana spoke these words while looking at Ken as if he were so kind of monster.
"So things have to be known." Ken nodded, and Darek took on the parole, saying what Ken wanted to say.
"Inside there, we will mostly be occupied by saving our own flesh, and having knowledge of what might be can make you more prepared, immune to surprises, and thus, calr in a situation where panic could kill."
This was a simple "Don't rely on too much, as I won't be there for you every second," but spoken from another mouth.
Naturally, no idiot was at this table, and thus, the ssage was received clear and clean.
That was that, and there were the 20 days they had to spend on this ship.
Many things could and had to be done within this ti period, and now that they knew what they knew and understood the importance of knowledge, they started forming plans.
The table started giving each individual a task and sotis grouping two or three together for efficiency.
Ken obviously wasn't in the bunch; he had his plans and tasks, sure, but he wasn't told what to do by anyone. He was a man of his own and soone everybody knew they had no say on.
If the top 10 were like a body that separated and grouped itself to benefit the whole, then Ken by himself was a body.
Thus, for the next few days, a period of 3 days in total, the group gathered knowledge tools, pills, and all they thought they needed.
They spent more ti with each other and spoke only about important matters that they believed knowing them could save their lives so day.
Each individual's strengths and weaknesses were nad and noted, and Ken watched and sotis guided the group as it beca more and more equipped to set off on this life-threatening journey.
True, being alone was good, but that was only the case when you were an elder... or Ken.
For the rest, they had to hold onto each person for dear life.
And that was it when it ca to the top 10.
The 4th day since they started their journey ca, and the entire body of disciples within the ship was called to the top floor.
They guessed that they were probably being called by the sect master, but it was an inner sect elder.
Still, an inner sect elder was an inner sect elder, an esteed sir beyond belief.
"Most of you should be wondering why you are here." The elder spoke.
"Then let tell you briefly. Not one of you is ready for this journey, and a lot of you are not going to make it back." He said.
"Sure it is an opportunity, sure it is a once-in-a-lifeti chance that can't be missed.
"But opportunity is always... followed or preceded by danger."
"That is why..." and he stopped to allow the disciples, who started showing signs of panic, to calm down.
"We will be teaching you everything you need so that you have the highest chance to survive."
