And that's good news how, exactly? William wished the System had a body so he could glare at it. How did they find out?
The System wouldn't respond without a fee of 12 Ascended Points, but William didn't need to spend Points to know that it could have been anyone. A mber of his class, a teacher, or even an official from Great Rouge that had his information.
He doubted it was Professor Tenningbrew or the Vice Principal, especially considering how much resources they'd given him recently. Several other options were feasible, but he couldn't do much more than speculate without spending his Points.
Can I at least know what Cultivation level the assassins are at?
-Request requires 22 Ascended Points. Yes/No?
Of course not. Why did I even ask? William heaved an exasperated sigh.
Knowing that the Riverveil Family was paying attention to him filled William with unease. The Riverveil Family was one of the two strongest powers across the entire Slightveil Plane, and William didn't stand a chance against them in his current state.
Assuming the Riverveil Family wouldn't want to attract attention while targeting him, William didn't think they'd attack while he was in a public area. That being said, his movents would be greatly restricted outside his Vice Principal's range of influence.
While he didn't show it, William had been worried about his sister over the last few days. He'd deduced that Fria was the one that received Janus' reward, which ant she was in the sa condition as the William from several hours prior.
Unless she sohow had a stronger mind than he did, Fria should still be inside the Ascension Portal that linked Efretta to the Slightveil Plane. He sensed that the portal in his World was idle, aning it hadn't fully closed despite the fact that Fria had Ascended multiple days earlier.
To William, this was proof that she was sowhere within the Ascension Portal, but to et up with her he'd need to not only go out, but also locate the other end of the portal that could be anywhere on the Slightveil Plane.
The possibility of assassins along the way ant William would have to be mindful of every move he made. Once he decides to leave the Quake Dungeon, no one should know his location save Professor Tenningbrew and the Vice Principal.
System, there's a fragnt of you inside Fria, right? he asked.
-Yes.
Can you tell what condition she's in?
-She's alive but her ntal state has deteriorated significantly. If she doesn't get help within a month, her chances of survival are very slim. At the very least, her mind will be corrupted by the Primordial Technique.
William's expression hardened. And here he was, wasting ti in the Quake Dungeon.
Before he could let negative thoughts distract him, William took a deep breath. What about her location? Can you find her?
-I should be able to locate the portal's exit point within a range of ten kiloters, but you can do the sa with your connection to the Mortal World.
Ten kiloters? The Slightveil Plane is huge! William's anxiety peaked. With his usual luck, finding his sister within a month while having such a short detection range was impossible. It was like asking him to find a needle in a haystack!
There has to be another way... William closed his eyes and fell deep in thought.
Suddenly, he realized sothing.
If I can't get to her from my side, then I can just send soone after her! William thought as he entered his Sea of Consciousness.
His corporeal form arrived at Efretta and descended imdiately, casting a beautiful lightshow in the sky. Cultivators and mortals alike bowed from all directions, believing that a God had appeared in the World.
In a sense, they weren't wrong.
Despite rely sending a fraction of his power into the World, William was still forced to use the maximum potential of his Seal Elent to restrict his power, otherwise the World would be destroyed with any sudden movent.
William took a single step and arrived at the Velos Continent in an instant, stopping perfectly in front of the headquarters of the Frostile Faction. His sudden appearance startled a pair of nearby guards, who dropped their weapons and ran away in fear.

"I'm coming in." William said before placing his palm on the set of double doors that led to the main hall. Before he could push them open, however, the doors promptly disintegrated.
Without an obstacle to obstruct his view, William had direct line of sight to a girl wearing training gear and a set of knuckle wraps. It was Tia, who was clearly not impressed with the state of her doorway.
"You're going to fix those, right?" she asked.
William shook his head, "Sorry. Anything I make here will probably just destroy more of your stuff."
Tia raised an eyebrow, "You're already so strong?"
"Cultivation and Magic are easier in the Ascended Realms. You'll see when you get there." William didn't elaborate.
Tia nodded, "What brings you here? If you're looking for Charlotte or Yuming, they're both adventuring sowhere."
William didn't need Tia to tell him that the two were both gone. He could clearly sense Charlotte clearing out Magical Beasts a few dozen kiloters outside the old Providence Zone, while Yuming was conducting Alchemy in the Hillvire Empire. Both seed to be doing well.
He got straight to the point. "Fria's in trouble and I can't reach her. I need soone to Ascend and help her out."
"Trouble? How can we help her if you can't?"
William took so ti to explain the situation to Tia, who nodded at every step. When he was done, Tia pulled out a communicator and issued an order to her Faction. A few minutes later, every Cultivator near the peak of the Tribulation Transcendence Realm including those who were in seclusion ca to the main building and bowed in front of William.
"These are probably the closest ones to Ascending, but they're going to need a few more years at the very least. If she only has a month, I'm not sure they'll be of any use..."
William shook his head, "No, they're fine."
He channeled a few million units of Blessing Mana through his improved Mana Circuits, disabling the Seal Elent's suppression on himself for a millionth of a second. During the short window of ti, he casted a wide-range Blessing Spell across the Frostile Faction's territory, improving the Cultivation speed of anyone below the Ascension Realm by ten thousand percent.
The Magic was cast so quickly that no one in the room was able to react to the sudden burst of Mana. Tia and the other Cultivators nearest to William couldn't handle the Mana and exploded into a bloody mist, both their defensive artifacts and the Arrays guarding the headquarters regarded as re paper before his overwhelming strength.
"Oops." William cast a Fusion Spell of the Ti and Life Elents to restore Tia and the others to peak condition, then switched to the Earth Elent to recreate the pile of rubble that was once a luxurious building.
William smiled apologetically, "My bad. Let's try that again."
