Because he pulled the Mana from his Mana Reserves and sent it directly to a Mana Point, it technically shouldn't count towards his actual Mana. His Status seed to consider anything located within his Mana Points to be already spent Mana.

This surprisingly explained how Mana Sickness worked, since it essentially ant an empty Mana Reserve was trying to send Mana to one's Mana Points. Because it was an automatic process, the Mana Reserve would continually attempt to do so, damaging one's health.

Over 30 million Mana went towards two Mana Points?!?

William almost couldn't believe what he was seeing.

If thirty million Mana was missing from his Reserve, that ant at least half of his Mana Reserve went into two Mana Points before they were completely full. It was all stored within the two Mana Points on his thumb.

-Actually, it would be exactly half of your Mana Reserve if you were to fill them from empty. Greater Mana Points can hold exactly 25 percent of a Cultivator's total Mana Reserve, so two together is equivalent to half of it.

Greater? Does that imply there are Superior Mana Points?

William asked. If Greater Mana Points held so much Mana, what about the others? Also, how could so much Mana fit into a dot that was re milliters in diater?

-Depends on the individual, you don't have any.

William didn't care too much about not having Superior Mana Points. With his already insanely high Mana Reserve, he could easily make up the difference. If he could reroute all of his Mana Veins and connected them with his Greater Mana Points, wouldn't the amount of Mana he could hold be insane?

Wait, not just my Mana Reserve...

William thought back to Mikaela's Spell from earlier. It was only an instant but... didn't her index finger turn to ash before the rest of her hand?

If I had to guess, her body couldn't handle the amount of Mana she used in her Spell. But every student at Filem Academy is exceptional, how could they have not mastered their Mana Control?

It was easy to guess why.

Half of my Mana Reserve is in my thumb right now...

William thought it once more, but it carried a different aning this ti.

William visualized the smallest speck of dust imaginable, focusing the Spell on the index finger of his left hand first. Trying to create sothing so small and without any intention of using it for an attack or otherwise was weird, but he managed to do it regardless.

With a single thought, a small piece of dust barely visible even to his naked eye appeared. There was no issue at all, and the Spell was completed without too much effort, though William did feel slightly unbalanced for so reason.

He tried it again, this ti with the index finger on his right hand. Before he even had ti to fully visualize the Spell, a rock the size of his fist appeared from above and positioned itself precariously atop the finger. Sa Spell, but night and day difference from before.

He had tried his hardest to make the rock into a dust particle, but he severely misjudged the amount of Mana that he needed to funnel into the Spell. It reminded William of back when he upgraded his Agility Talent and would often overshoot his destination when running.

Mikaela, who had been secretly paying attention to William for the last two minutes was surprised to see an event different from what was projected.

The rock that ford right now was much larger than the one she saw before, suggesting that William had either intentionally increased the amount of effort he put into casting the Spell, or he had sohow improved upon her understanding just from watching his future self.

She wanted to assu it was the forr, but sothing about William's expression told her that was not the case. The boy was many things, but pretentious didn't seem to be one of them.

On William's end, he could clearly feel his thumb about to burst with excitent at the Spell cast. Sweat dripped from his armpits as he tried to prevent the thumb's Greater Mana Points from sending their Mana elsewhere, lest they completely ignore the Mana Veins and blow up his hand from the inside.

Damn! My Mana Control went down quite a bit. It's going to take a while to get used to this.

William finally managed to stop the channeling of his Mana, the rock falling to the floor as a result of his distracted state.

Despite the pain emanating from his hand and the threat of a bomb that could destroy any Mortal Realm located in his thumb, William smiled. If casting a Spell from his unmodified index finger was already this impressive, what would the effect be if he focused it from his thumb?

Better yet, what about when his entire hand was like this? How would the Sun Stone Golem compare to his current state? The idea of punching that dumb invincible rock to smithereens filled him with excitent.

Having found a new thod to increase his strength in a short ti, William wanted to keep going. The Heavens could enter the Filem Academy's Dinsion at any mont, and he didn't dare to underestimate the abilities of a Solar Deity expert.

-Are you forgetting sothing? You're out of Mana.

William paused in the middle of untangling his second Mana Vein, nearly facepalming. One Mana Point alone would take over 15 million Mana from his reserve, and he was sitting on less than three. Not only would he be unable to improve his Mana Circuits, but William would also probably contract Mana Sickness from the process.

"So? How is it?" Mikaela leaned over and smirked, as if trying to remind William who was responsible for his success.

"Pretty good, actually." Despite being unable to continue working on his Mana Circuits, William was in a much better mood than a few hours ago. He only wished that he had more Mana Regeneration.

"Mhm! Rember that you owe ! If not, I guess your corpse would look nice as a scarecrow for our Spider Lilac Garden." Mikaela stuck her tongue out in a teasing expression then turned around swiftly, her long hair flipping around and almost smacking him in the face.

William was left stunned by Mikaela's unnatural language, but the scene of students getting up from their desks and exiting the room told him that class was over. Among the group, only a select few seed interested in staying behind for their professor's testing.

"Ready?" the voice of a petite girl to William's left startled him for a mont. It was Odessa, whose presence was so minimal that the entire class including him often forgot about her.

"Yeah, let's get out of here." Mikaela stood up from her desk and walked with Odessa into the hallway until they were out of sight, leaving William alone with three other students and Professor Tenningbrew.

"Sticking behind as well, First-Year William? Good to hear!" the Professor's tone was sohow still cheery despite having lectured a class for the entire day.
