The Janus nodded and their World started spinning once more, drawing further and further away as William traveled through the Ascension Portal. Their re existence was a hint at just how unfathomable William's future opponents were, and it made him excited.
He pulled his gaze away from the walls of the portal, opting not to test his luck with any other powerful beings during this interim phase. In the anti, William consud all of his Elental Fruits in stock that had yet to reach a thousand, fully comprehending the Fire, Space, and Gravity Elents in the process.
Additionally, the Ti and Illusion Elents were 90.1 percent comprehended, and Chaos was at 65.1 percent. Not only would William be able to teleport much greater distances with Space, but he also had much greater control over the other four Legendary Elents.
I really hope I can get more Elental Farm slots though. Eight Elent Farms isn't nearly enough...
William spent a million Potential Points to Ascend his Polarity Resistance Talent, and even managed to bring out his Alchemy equipnt to refine a Tier 10 Appearance Restoration Pill for the Aging Resistance Talent.
Thankfully no outsiders saw William floating through the Ascension Portal while stirring a cauldron, because weird would be an understatent.
System, I can summon Atticus to , right? he asked.
-Not right now, but when you exit the portal, you can. It's too dangerous to pull your Companion Beasts into this area.
William was relieved. He planned to upgrade Atticus and Uri to the next Rank as soon as possible so they could join him in the Celestial Planes.
There was no need for them to go through the stringent process of taking the Ascension Portal, but it made William wonder if the Summoning Elent was secretly an overpowered Elent, or if he was severely underestimating the power of the others.
After all, to summon a creature from the Mortal Realms to the Celestial Planes directly, it was like a better version of the Space Elent but specialized to Companion Beasts. If the other Elents were just as strong, William had much to learn yet.
Since he still seed to have a good amount of ti left, William spent a load of Potential Points upgrading the less useful Talents like Stone Skipping, Drawing, Sleight of Hand, and Misdirection to X-Rank directly.
He thought about upgrading his useful Talents like Weapon Sharpness, but William decided against it last-minute. It was better to test his current combat strength first, then upgrade his Talents gradually to stay low-profile.
Even if William encountered a tough situation, he was confident in the various escape techniques he had acquired over the years. Not to ntion that his Illusion Affinity was almost fully comprehended.
William waited in silence for a few more hours, occasionally peeking outside the portal walls to check his progress. During his most recent look, a massive expanse of land had beco visible, its area separated into dozens of irregular regions that had abstract land formations.
One region in particular was illuminated by a dull purple light that seed to co from underground, floating islands scattered as far as the eye could see. When the portal passed by this region, William spotted a few dozen purplish crystalline structures that made William drool in delight.
He looked left and right at the other Regions, finding that they sported completely different but just as valuable natural treasures that seed like they were just waiting to be snatched up.
Loot! Loot everywhere! Who said I have bad luck? This is paradise! William glead as his feet finally touched down in a large grassland where everything was dyed silver. No, wait. That wasn't right.
The grass was literally silver! It was made out of tal, that resembled silver perfectly! Even the particle arrangent was similar, and its purity was incredible!
William didn't hesitate to pluck a few dozen blades of grass, but a long series of System notifications popped up at that mont. He was forced to halt his work and scroll through the System to see what the spam was all about.
