While William and his friends ate, he ntioned many of the things he learned about the World in the last few months.
About how Efretta was actually a World created to seal a powerful Cultivator with the sa na. About how the Magical Beast Tides were all caused by his attempt to free Efretta, and how he was actually from another World that was created by Efretta.
The only thing that William didn't ntion was the appearance of the System and how it was the reason for both his and Efretta's strength. While he trusted his friends, both he and the System felt that it was unnecessary and dangerous to reveal its existence.
For most of his friends, hearing that William was from another World wasn't too eye opening, and Fria already knew everything. Charlotte, however, was different.
She knew the previous William quite well, and he acted almost the sa way as the current William. They even had almost the exact sa mannerisms, as if they were parallel to each other. The only difference was that the other William wasn't nearly as talented as William was now.
"How long have you been like this?" she asked.
"Since the day you visited at my house. I think the other William died... I'm sorry."
Charlotte nodded, having expected this. That was the sa ti that William started acting slightly differently too, but she had previously blad it on the side effects of Mana Sickness.
She didn't hate William for not telling her, but knowing that he had been a different person this whole ti made her feel distant.
To suddenly find himself in a new World surrounded by new people, it must have been difficult for him to keep that secret. Even if he had said sothing, would she have believed him, or would she have thought it was just another side effect of the Mana Sickness?
But he could have told in the Five Elents Sect, or even when we went to this Continent for the first ti... why did he have to wait until now? she wondered.
"I know that's a lot to accept, but this is the truth about ." William finished his explanation.
"But you were always the sa person at the Sect, right?" Carl asked.
William nodded.
"Then there's no problem! We've been friends the entire ti, and that won't change. So what if you're from another World, we'll all be the sa when we Ascend, right?" Carl smiled.
"That's right! You're already a monster, so what's the difference between a monster from here and from sowhere else?" Yuming added.
William laughed, "Speaking of Ascension, I'm going to do it soon. That's why I ca to visit you guys."
Tia looked at William with a hint of surprise, "But weren't we going to build a city together? It was going to be the six of us; seven if we could convince Filipe to join. With your strength and the resources we've been gathering, constructing a city of our own would be simple!"
William's eyes glimred at the ntion of resources, but he really couldn't accept Tia's offer, "It's too dangerous for to stay here for long. You can build the city without ."
Tia frowned, but they could all tell that William wouldn't pass up on loot easily. If he said he needed to go, then so be it.
"We might never catch up to you, but you can bet on us Ascending soday ourselves. It might not be for a few hundred years, but we'll do it and build the city up there!" Gunther smiled as he made a decision.
If William couldn't stay with them, they would have to go to him!
"Hahaha, I think I can help with that." William said while simultaneously communicating with the System in his mind.
The Blessing Elent works just like the Curse Elent but reversed. If that's the case, can I use more Mana to extend the duration of the effects?

William stifled a laugh and waited for the System to continue.
-The more Mana that is used, the longer the effects last. There is a limitation to how powerful a Blessing can be, though. You can also further extend their duration by weakening the strength of your Blessings.
Perfect, just what I wanted to hear! William raised one of his hands and called Blessing Mana to his fingertips.
Gunther and the others looked at William with confusion while the Mana gathered. Since Blessings and Curses were relatively weak unless one had a high Affinity with the Elent and William hardly ever used the two Elents, the World had yet to see any Blessing or Curse Spells that could last for longer than a few hours.
The best one could do was delay the effects of the Spell, much like the assassin in the Five Elents Sect had done to William. This was around the sa ti as the Alchemy Competition, and William rembered it very clearly because he had severely underestimated the strength of his Arrays Talent back then.
Three hundred thousand Mana was channeled from the depths of William's body and gathered on his fingertips, shaking the palace walls as it compressed to the point that it filled Gunther with a sense of fear.
Carl used the Earth Elent to stabilize the building, holding everything steady as William sent the highly compressed ball of Blessing Mana at Gunther's body.
"Are you trying to kill ?!" Gunther scread like a little girl and frantically dodged to the side, but William's Magic Homing Talent kicked in. The Blessing Mana followed Gunther's every move, entering his chest and bathing him in a bright golden light.
The others, who were also slightly concerned about William's sudden action, burst out in laughter when they heard Gunther scream. Carl started wheezing, almost losing control of his Earth Spell in the process.
Bits of dust and dirt fell from above, showering everyone inside and dirtying their clothes. Everyone except William, of course.
-Blessings of Magic Power, Mana Efficiency, Mana Control, and Mana Regeneration applied.
-All aforentioned effects will be enhanced by forty percent.
-Effect duration: Fifteen years.
Hmm, I planned for it to last twenty years at least, but I guess this is good enough for the first set. William thought as he started gathering Blessing Mana once more.
Noticing that he wasn't injured, and even feeling a little stronger than before, Gunther dusted himself off and glared at his friends for laughing at him, then waited silently for William to finish casting his next Spell.
-Blessings of Cultivation Speed, Cultivation Intuition, and Enlightennt applied.
-All aforentioned effects will be enhanced by forty percent.
-Effect duration: Fifteen years.
Two more. William gathered his Mana for a third ti.
-Blessings of Strength, Speed, Visual Awareness, Reaction Ti, and Battle Consciousness applied.
-All aforentioned effects will be enhanced by forty percent.
-Effect duration: Fifteen years.
Last one.
-Blessing of Ice Boost applied.
-Effect will be enhanced by forty percent.
-Effect duration: Fifteen years.
By the end of William's blessings, almost a million Mana was spent while Gunther received an all-round forty percent boost to both his best and worst abilities. If he were to compete with Tia with his physical body, he would now have a slight fighting chance!
