William couldn't help but be speechless for a long ti. If his Potential Points balance had reached over a hundred million, that ant he could literally upgrade anything he wanted! The System would even reach A-Rank, aning he would unlock a bunch of new Ascended Talents right away!
He started by upgrading the Ti and Illusion Affinities to X-Rank, spending 1.3 million Potential Points in one go. As the upgrade comnced, the air twisted and swirled while the ti around William moved backwards then forwards, sending William's body into disarray.
The Ti Elent's upgrades alone were enough for William to lose almost four hundred years of his lifespan, but the Illusion Elent seed to do almost just as much. William found his body disconnecting from the World temporarily, as the Illusion Elent created apparitions around him that threatened to tear William apart.
Between the two Elents, William's lifespan increased by almost seven hundred years, reaching 1218 years old. Even so, William had over eighteen thousand years of lifespan total, so this wasn't too much.
In fact, William hoped that he could push his Elents even further the mont he Ascended!

While William already knew quite a bit about the Territory of Illusion from Atticus, he was surprised to see such extravagant effects on the Territory of Ti. Even with his Domains, William was unable to completely control Ti, only manipulate it a bit.
He wondered just how much effect the Territory would have. Would it be able to slow ti by fifty tis? Could William spend fifty years living in his Ti Territory while only a year passed outside? If so, this could be amazing for both his Trade Skills and combat!
Now that that's done, let's upgrade the Potential Farms again! With this, it should upgrade the System!

-Potential Farm (x3) have all been upgraded to B-Rank. Daily inco per farm will be raised from 15000 PP to 75000 PP, for a total of 225000 PP per day.
A quarter million Points in a single day?!? This is insane! William exclaid in his mind. He no longer had any reason to make use of the Fire Mine and Superior Death Mine, since both of their earnings paled in comparison to his daily inco.
He even considered firing his workers, or at least allowing them to have a vacation.
I'll give them a day off, I suppose. William was in a good mood, and he felt magnanimous today.
-Only one day?
What? I still have to earn Potential Points! William replied quickly.
-You just said they were hardly useful.
Points are Points, you wouldn't get it.
The System didn't respond, but it seed to be calling him an idiot through their shared ntal connection. He ignored the System's harsh words and continued scrolling through the System Panel.

William looked at the new System upgrades with excitent. Not only had he gained more Farm Slots for the Elent Farms, but William's Bestiary had improved. He didn't know before that Ascended Beasts wouldn't be listed in the Bestiary, but now that they could, couldn't he hatch brand new Magical Beasts that were from the Ascended Realms?
Man... the Fruits were harvested only five days ago too... I probably shouldn't grow new Elent Farms until after the others are ready to harvest.
-I said this before, but you could wait an extra few days while the Fruits are still on the tree.
Oh, right! Let's do it then, give the Ti and Illusion Farms! William decided in an instant.
The two trees grew right next to each other as little sprouts ford, but William wasn't quite done with them yet. He instantaneously upgraded both of them from their base F-Rank to B-Rank, one Rank higher than the other Farms. He did this for one reason and one reason only: to upgrade the System once more.
The System accepted William's paynt of 22.2 million Potential Points, starting the upgrade of the two farms imdiately. Their yield was raised from 25 fruits per month to 50 Fruits, essentially doubling the rate at which William comprehended the Ti and Illusion Elents.

Other than the main notifications from the System, it also listed quite a few minor things, such as how it would respond in the future with the Ask Function, and what kind of information the System now had access to.
It was incredibly in depth and difficult to understand, but the System mostly explained that it would now be able to fully explain many aspects of the state of the World as long as a few pieces of the puzzle were filled. Rather than calling it an Ask Function, it was more like the System's deduction.
And just like that, I have only fifty million Potential Points left... William sighed as the requirent for Potential Points never ended. His strength continued to increase dramatically, however, so William wasn't too upset.
In fact, the System had implented many new ways for him to earn Potential Points passively, otherwise reaching a million Points without the assistance of the Heavens would be impossible.
William looked through the System Panel so more, finding that only a few Talents had yet to reach the maximum Rank.
