-JJKFan31: Is that the sa S-Rank NPC William? Has his rank improved, and he might even be in Blue Moon City during the Event? Count in!

-MrMrMr: Forget the NPC, there's a chance for Lesser Beast Cores! Those are worth hundreds of Mana Stones!

Within a few hours, the line outside Blue Moon City had extended for kiloters, and the Guild Hall was even worse. The number of people registering for a position outside the Foam Desert had greatly increased, which made the Mayor of Blue Moon City sigh in relief.

He was worried that the next wave of Magical Beasts would be the last, but it seed they would make it another week...

Shit, an Elental Beast Tide is attacking the sa place my village just moved to! How could this happen?

-It's your fault. You absorbed the Veins.

You basically asked to! Who's going to pass up on a treasure that's right in front of them? Especially when your next upgrade gave the ability to do so! You didn't tell what would happen if I absorbed them!

William felt the System was being unfair with him. When William absorbed the Life Veins in the past, he had only been in the World for a few days. He didn't know how anything worked, nor did he expect such severe consequences.

Hearing William's retort, the System beca silent. William didn't know what it was thinking, but he felt his words had struck.

I'm sure you had your reasons too, System. I don't bla you for it.

"Are you okay, William? You've been quiet for a while." Carl interrupted William's internal conversation with the System.

"Ah, yes. I'm fine." William replied absent-mindedly.

"So... what are we doing? I don't think the Providence Zone is a great idea. Can't we find Alchemy ingredients sowhere else?"

"You're right," William said. "Change of plans. We're going to Blue Moon City."

"Huh?" Carl was confused. After all that planning on the map, we're going sowhere completely different?

"You wanted to contract so new Magical Beasts, right?" William replied with a slight smile.

Carl's eyes lit up, "Let's go!"

Inside the Yu Royal Family Headquarters.

"Your Highness, I can only express my deepest condolences for the recent assassination attempt." a blonde-haired man wearing the symbol of the Pillars of Justice bowed as he spoke to a youth seated at the throne.

Supre Left waved his hand in dismissal, "It's not the first ti I've dealt with sothing like this, although it's the first ti it was soone so close to ."

I even lost my only clone. It'll take at least three years to create another one.

"Has your group tracked down Retribution's headquarters?" he asked.

"The Pillars are still looking. It seems they've hidden it sowhere underground, but we can't even tell which Region they are in. None of their low-ranking slaves know where the headquarters is, and the high-ranking ones have restrictions too great for us to pry into their minds."

Supre Left nodded. "As expected of them, what about Gu Dianlong? He should be partially responsible for their portal network."

The subordinate shook his head, "We have him in custody, but all we can do is stop him from using Space Magic to create their portals. They probably still have other Space Mages under their control."

Supre Left closed his eyes and pressed his fingers to his forehead in thought. After a while, he opened his eyes again and looked at the Pillars mber. "Keep working on it. If we can't find them, capture all their slaves and force them out."

The subordinate nodded and left the room.

Before Supre Left could gather his thoughts, soone else knocked on the large double-doors.

"Co in." the blonde youth sighed as he adjusted his position to appear more authoritative.

A boy of about sixteen or seventeen years of age walked into the room nervously, taking a knee and bowing his head in front of the supre being that he couldn't ever hope to compare to.

"What is it, Norem?"

"Your Highness, our Arrays have detected a Fire Elental Beast Tide approaching our headquarters."

"I see, so that's what I sensed before." Supre Left stood up from his throne and pulled out a large staff adorned with hundreds of white stones and covered in Arrays.

"I'll be right back." he said as his figure disappeared from the room instantly. It wasn't a teleport, but rather his extre speed that was many tis greater than his clone that was outside the Gravitas Ruins.

His figure appeared in the air above the palace, then flew in a certain direction for a few kiloters until he was hovering directly overhead of a large mass of red that changed the color of the landscape. A quick estimate told Supre Left that there were roughly twenty thousand Magical Beasts in the Nascent Soul Realm below him.

"Hmm...Giant Fire Ants, Smoldering Rhinos, and...hm? Are those lesser phoenixes? Interesting. I wonder what forced the World to spawn so many Nascent Soul creatures..."

Given the size of the Azures Continent, it was more than possible to see tens of thousands of Nascent Soul Beasts, but not in a single place. For them to all gather in a Beast Tide without any infighting slled of interference from the World itself.

Supre Left raised the large staff in his hand and started channeling his Fire Domain. With the support of the staff, his Domain expanded to a range of thirty kiloters, enough to cover the entire group of Magical Beasts.

"You may be Fire Elental Beasts...but your flas can't compare to mine! Bla yourself for coming too close to my ho!"

As he spoke, the Fire Domain lit up, first absorbing the ambient Fire Mana from the Beasts, then using their own flas against them to burn each one to a crisp. Only the lesser pheonixes survived the first wave, reborn from the flas.

A second wave of the Fire Domain finished off the remainder of the Nascent Soul Beasts. Supre Left picked up a communicator and ordered his subordinates to clean up the remains, then returned to his position in the throne room without another word.
