As the group got closer to the volcanoes, it beca evident that there were no visible signs of recent volcan dragon activity. The landscape remained relatively unchanged, devoid of any structures or alterations, despite Rain's knowledge that the presence of the volcan dragons was historically tied to the formation of these volcanic formations.

According to Isa's information, the volcan dragons had a distinctive lifestyle. Instead of manifesting their activities in the external environnt, they primarily inhabited the interiors of the volcanoes, utilizing these domains for rest and energy accumulation. This lifestyle was believed to be a crucial factor contributing to their remarkable regenerative abilities.

Isa had previously explained that the dragons devoted a significant amount of ti inside the volcanoes, where they not only rested but also trained to harness and amplify their regenerative powers.

This continuous exposure to the extre heat, combined with their unique abilities to channel and manipulate draconic energy, was thought to be the key to developing and enhancing their incredible regenerative capabilities.

Despite the lack of observable external changes, the dormant volcanoes held a deeper significance as the training grounds and sanctuary for the volcano dragons, contributing significantly to their extraordinary powers. It was also the perfect place to hide the relics.

"It is no good… the lava has too much mana and I can't see anything with Magic Eyes," Terra said.

"Sa here," Seara said while waving her hands closer to her face to get rid of the heat bothering her.

"I guess I can try to expand my domain and see if I can find traces of the relics," Rain rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Rain tried to expand his domain as much as possible, but maintaining it consud a lot more mana when he did that. Besides, even with his skill and knowledge, he was only able to maintain his domain for a five hundred ters radius. It wasn't enough to cover the a single volcano, so he had to approach the lava.

"Nothing here…" Rain said after he returned to the others. "We will have to hurry up since I can't keep doing this forever."

"You should have taught us how to do that already," Terra said.

"I would have done if it weren't difficult, it is a type of magic developed to fight the system, after all," Rain said.

"Why would you develop this kind of magic?" Terra furrowed her eyebrows.

As Rain tried to explain the complexity and the inherent nature of the magic developed to counteract established system, he noticed the questioning and suspicious looks directed at him from the rest of the group. He understood their perplexity and the way they viewed the concept of challenging the established system.

For the group, the system had been a fundantal aspect of their lives, a support structure that guided them and facilitated their daily activities. To them, there was little reason to oppose or question its functions. Rain realized that his perspective, shaped by his knowledge of the past, was vastly different from theirs.

From Rain's point of view as soone from the past, he had observed that the paths system, while seemingly beneficial, harbored secrets and restrictions, particularly concerning the concealnt of the past. This discrepancy in understanding between the group and himself stemd from his awareness of the system's potential motives to suppress historical knowledge and its implications.

To him, the system's efforts to hide aspects of the past were grounds for suspicion and further exploration.

"Well, it was just sothing I learned by accident when I was trying to return to life," Rain said.

Rain's explanations convinced his kids, but not his wives… they could tell that he was lying and hiding a few things. Rain wasn't aware of his mannerisms, but Terra and Seara knew that well. When he wanted to make them stop thinking about sothing or hide important facts, he would start his sentences with well and so words that would make things look less suspicious.

Fortunately for him, they didn't point that out.

"Your wives know that you are hiding sothing," Larisa said. "By the way, I am directly talking with your mind now."

"Why are you doing that now when you don't do that most of the ti?" Rain asked.

"Do you want to say out loud in front of everyone that you are a bad liar?" Larisa asked.

Rain sighed… he couldn't say anything in response. In any case, Rain used his domain to search into several volcan and after many failures, he was about to give up. However, he eventually hit a jackpot… he should have started with the largest volcanoes, but it was kind of hard to see which ones were the largest when most of their parts were underground.

"I can feel a source of mana at the deepest part of this place," Rain said and then he went to check his ntal landscape and he found a new guy in there, at least a shadow of it. "We hit the jackpot, there is definitely a relic in there."

"How are you planning to reach it?" Seara asked.

"Watch and learn," Rain smirked.

Rain initiated his plan. He summoned a towering ice pillar, commanding it to pierce through the scorching lake of lava. Initially, the intense heat caused the ice to rapidly lt, forcing Rain to infuse more mana to lower its temperature significantly.

He relentlessly channeled his magic, gradually reducing the temperature of the pillar to below fifty degrees Celsius, making it resist against the searing heat.

Persistently, Rain bolstered the ice pillar's structure, expanding its diater and simultaneously deepening it into the molten lava. With a lot of effort, a hole finally ford within the pillar, penetrating to the lake's bottom. After ticulous maneuvering, Rain identified an object resting at the base—a dark cube housing an unusually thick, one-handed hamr.

"Well, well, well… what do we have here," Terra said after she crossed her arms. "It is just like you said… this dark cube certainly looks unnatural."
