In the end, Rain let Nigel control his own relics sohow, and he soon made several ice pillars erge from the ground, and those stopped the ice teors that fell around.
Despite the monuntal effort, so fragnts of the shattered ice teors managed to slip through the defensive barrier, falling towards Rain. Yet, amidst the chaos, Rain exhibited an almost unfathomable calmness. He stood resolute, almost as if unaffected by the imminent danger and the pain. The ice fragnts, re fractions of the shattered teors, collided with him, but he paid them no heed.
Even as they collided with his form, he didn't flinch, seemingly ignoring the harm they had caused.
In that terrifying mont, a peculiar sensation surged through Rain's being. The impact of the ice fragnts against his body seed inconsequential as an unprecedented rush of power coursed through him. It felt as if an inexhaustible energy revitalized his very essence, invigorating him in a way he had never experienced before.
The power he felt pulsating within him was overwhelming, infusing him with renewed strength and vitality.
"... Where are you getting that much energy?" Rain asked.
"From you, of course. Did you forget that I can only show my power through a dium?" Nigel asked.
In the end, Rain couldn't even complain since Nigel was doing his job well… the massive teors fell from the ice pillars far away from him. It didn't take long for the attacks to stop coming, but Rain could tell that the dragons didn't give up that easily.
"The roots are retreating too fast… and they are leaving the half-made cocoons behind," The woman in the darkness said. "It seems that this thing has a will as well, so be ready to move if sothing happens."
Her warning was confird after half an hour… when the skill reached level eighty, Rain suddenly felt the land trembling once more. As the situation escalated, the roots, previously embedded in the ground, began to erge forcefully, tearing the land apart. Their appearance was not one of dominance but rather of agony, as if writhing in distress.
With a sudden, violent upheaval, these roots disentangled themselves from the earth, ripping through the terrain with massive force.
The ground quaked violently as the roots tore free, leaving behind a landscape marred by their tumultuous departure. Rain watched in astonishnt as each root broke free, their movents akin to an anguished escape. Before long, every root had vacated the land, leaving behind a scene of chaos and destruction.
Amidst this chaotic scene, Rain sensed the massive stump trembling and shifting. It was a dangerous sign urging him to evacuate the area imdiately. Sensing imminent danger, he knew it was ti to get out of there...
In the culmination of the surreal scene, the colossal stump, the epicenter of this havoc, it propelled itself upward with an unimaginable force. Breaking through the frozen clouds, it ascended beyond the planet's atmosphere, leaving behind the world it had been rooted in.
The spectacle was both astounding and terrifying as the massive stump departed the world, disappearing into the depths of the cosmos. Rain could only watch in awe and apprehension as the once-embedded stump soared into space, leaving an ominous void in its wake.
"What, the actual… fuck," Rain said.
"It was a monster as well… a creature that had the organic data of the ice dragons and decided to multiply them," Larisa said. "This is sothing that even we hadn't seen before… did you see that? You have outlived all of the humans, haven't you with your power?"
"I am not sure," The woman in the darkness said. "Regardless, I am going to sleep since I am tired. The rest is up to you. The dragons won't have reinforcents, and after this much, the dragon god didn't show himself, so he shouldn't be around."
That was a relief, but as usual, that brought a lot of questions as well. What the hell was that guy doing?
At the sa ti, Rain was feeling suspicious because he didn't feel anything odd after receiving all that much power from the woman in the darkness… he could feel her presence getting dormant as she went to rest since she probably worked a lot and so ti has passed since the last ti she did that.
"Well, what now?" Nigel asked. "The dragons should arrive in less than half an hour, and your friends won't arrive in ti. Perhaps this is a good thing considering the power and the area of effect attacks from those beasts."
Rain didn't know… he still could use the Dragon Slayer Path. While he only had a single skill, the path granted him so crazy levels and paraters as well… as long as he uses that against the dragons, things should work out. Even more so if he uses the ominous sword.

Rain looked around, and he saw ten dragons approaching from nurous directions… several of them opened their mouths and fired a beam of ice that could travel faster than bullet and almost reached Rain to freeze him… he jumped away to escape the attack, but the ground that was hit by beca covered by massive ice spikes that looked sharp as hell and emitted a lot of cold…
