"You know how I can do that, right?" Rain asked while looking at Iori. "Joanis’ special soldiers could communicate with each other over long distances…"

"I can explain to you that if you explain first how you were able to use blood magic, that is supposed to be sothing only my lineage is supposed to know," Iori said.

"Oh, you want to negotiate?" Rain said and then laughed. "Usually, I wouldn’t entertain you, but since I don’t have ti to waste, I guess I can explain what I did… I didn’t defeat you using blood magic, I just controlled the liquid parts of your blood with water magic."

"How did you use water magic when your attacks previously used wind magic?" Iori asked.

"At the mont your wounds were exposed to the atmosphere, it was also exposed to the moisture, I can control the water around the atmosphere with ease thanks to my experience with water magic," Rain shrugged.

Rain’s mastery over his control of magic and bodily functions was insane. He had spent considerable ti refining his magical control, honing it to a level where he can manipulate even the minute details, such as controlling his sweat. This level of finesse indicated his expertise and dedication, as he had trained extensively to achieve such precise control over his magic and bodily functions.

Additionally, Rain acknowledged the assistance provided by the relics, particularly the relic of the shield. These artifacts might have played a role in aiding his abilities, but Rain chooses not to delve deeply into this aspect, all in order to maintain a level of secrecy or simply to avoid unnecessary explanations that might complicate the current conversation.

"... They couldn’t talk directly, they could send images of what they saw to each other," Iori said after he thought for a short while in silence. "They could record the images by focusing their mana in their eyes and then send them to others. That can be done when you can control your mana completely and when you can sense the mana of the target even from far away.

After that, you just send the image to the target."

The technique described by Iori regarding the transmission of images through mana control was very straightforward, although its execution demanded a high level of mastery in handling mana in its purest form. It involved a process akin to scanning an image within the user’s iris, and then converting it into a form that can be transmitted as if sending a photo to the intended person.

This required a precision of mana manipulation and control at a very refined level.

With the aid of the seals, Rain could potentially sense the positions of nurous individuals. However, this ability wouldn’t be a simple task; it would require substantial effort, given the complexity and precision involved in the process. Additionally, the technique’s utility as a ans of communication is limited since only a select few possess the necessary expertise to perform it.

Hence, it might not be the most efficient or widespread communication thod due to its technical requirents and rarity among practitioners.

"This won’t work it only worked between those guys because they had no free will," Rain said while shaking his head. "By the way, how co so of those guys could grow stronger after they were killed and healed instantly."

"What are you going to offer for that knowledge?" Iori asked.

"Nothing… I can at least imagine how it was impossible," Rain said. "It was probably sothing akin to Mortal Bet. The more they suffered damage, the more they would force their bodies to draw power from it… perhaps they would go as far as even sacrificing their lifespan for it since they could use blood magic… or the king could do that for them."

Rain’s idea of using Magic inscriptions to create a sort of magical communication device, akin to a telephone utilizing wind magic for transmitting ssages, displayed his innovative thinking in employing existing magical knowledge for practical applications.

However, in the midst of thinking through this concept, a revelation struck him. He began connecting the dots regarding the origin of the branded enemies who seemingly gained the power of the sins.

A realization dawned upon him: it seed plausible that these enemies obtained their enhanced abilities after soone rged the potency of the magic inscriptions with the power derived from the sins’ magic.

This revelation hinted at a potentially dangerous combination, where the sins’ formidable capabilities were further amplified by intertwining them with the potency of the magic inscriptions. This discovery added a layer to the complex situation… even though the beast people and the magic people weren’t real enemies anymore.

"Who was the person who branded them?" Rain thought.

"If it wasn’t this moron or the dragon god, then it was the teleport guy," Nigel said. "You were starting to think that he couldn’t be that bad of a person, but you need to think things through."

Nigel had a point… for a change. Still, that was a problem for another ti. In the end, creating a device that could receive mana and transmit it to send ssages with wind magic was easy. The real issue was the speed the ssages were conveyed, wind magic could move faster with more magic being used, but the speed was still limited, around one kiloter per second.

"This is a weird device… but it will be useful," Terra said after they finished the first tests.

They didn’t have to look for each other, but from one point to the other, which was the sa distance between the ice dragons, the ssage would take almost fifty minutes to arrive, and it was obvious that the ssages would take more ti, the more they moved.

"I guess I will have to find a way to combine electricity with this, since that moves many tis faster, but it will take too long," Rain thought. "Well, I learned a long ti ago that there are no easy paths in my life."
