"I have to capture them as well and make them answer my questions," Rain thought. "In any case, why has the High Human Path still not reached the max level? I want to level up the Diligence path and try to co up with new ideas."
The experience rate has slowed down considerably since the arrival of the new ice dragons. So that should be connected sohow… Rain had to investigate that as well.
Rain was facing a difficult situation, feeling overwheld and in need of an edge against these powerful enemies. In this state of urgency, he contemplated the idea of developing a peculiar skill: a technique where his strength would grow inversely to his involvent in combat. This skill might work, and abstaining from conflict could sohow enhance his abilities.
However, Rain's understanding of the system and his rational mindset prevented him from thinking about this concept fully. He recognized the implausibility of such a notion within the system's frawork. The system, as Rain had learned through experience, functioned on logical principles and structured chanisms.
The idea of gaining strength by avoiding confrontation contradicted the system's rules and the laws of cause and effect.
Therefore, while contemplating this radical idea, Rain ultimately reaffird his conviction not to treat the system's functioning as illogical or irrational. He acknowledged the need for a more pragmatic and rational approach to developing his abilities within the confines of the system's known chanisms and rules.
"I guess I am panicking a bit…" Rain thought.
In any case, soon, the dragons began to move as well, and they moved to several points in their territory. At so point, even the ice dragons on the mountains moved as well to work with them, and it looked like they were keeping a distance from each other to maximize their powers… all of them began to work together while using Dragon Rage and spread that cold.
"It seems that they won't move anyti soon, but they all are determined to freeze the world," Larisa said. "You should know now that ti is against all of you."
"Yeah…" Rain rubbed his chin thoughtfully
The gathering of the ice dragons seed to create a sort of focal point, a domain expanding from their territory. This expanding domain had an ominous effect, characterized by extre coldness that resulted in the freezing of everything within its reach.
The frigid aura emanating from this expanding domain not only froze the environnt but also played a role in enhancing the power of the ice dragons' magic. As ti passed, the cold seed to act as a catalyst, amplifying the potency of their magical abilities.
This enhancent suggested that the dragons' magical capabilities were growing stronger and more formidable with the expanding domain's influence.
Rain assud that this escalating magical power, coupled with the powerful cold emanating from the dragons' domain, would make approaching their territory a very difficult task.
The formidable cold and the heightened magic posed a considerable barrier, making it increasingly difficult for anyone to reach the ice dragons without succumbing to freezing temperatures or facing overwhelming magical prowess.
"I guess it is ti to reunite everyone again… staying separated like this won't do us any good," Rain said. "Working with them will serve as a good disguise, too… if things go south, all of us will have to fight the dragon god."
Rain returned to Earth, and soon, he began to fly toward the island where Branden, Esralda, Orcis, Lorene, Asche, and Liss lived… It was easy to find that from outer space since it was hundreds of tis bigger than any dragon, and it had the mana readings of thousands of people as well.
As soon as Rain landed on the island, he saw a bunch of people pointing their weapons at him… they sure were on edge for so reason, but at least they didn't attack him. Before long, Asche and Liss approached.
"It seems soone always cos when he pleases," Liss said after she crossed her arms. "Have you found everyone?"
"Yep, but I ca to talk about sothing else," Rain said. "We need to talk with all the others first."
Liss and Asche looked at each other. They had been on guard since they felt the tremor of weeks ago, and they knew that sothing was going to happen soon, Rain's arrival only confird that.
As Rain and his companions made their way to Branden and Esralda's mansion, they attracted considerable attention from the inhabitants of the camp. The unusual activity and the presence of Rain, known for his role in various events, piqued the curiosity of everyone present. The camp residents sensed sothing important was unfolding.
The actions and behaviors of the leaders of the camp, Branden and Esralda, seed to hint at an unfolding situation or perhaps a developnt that had stirred a buzz among the people. Many believed that Rain might hold crucial information or solutions relevant to the current scenario.
Hence, the residents eyed Rain and his companions, anticipating clarity or guidance regarding the ongoing situation, especially with the leaders of the camp displaying unusual behavior.
As one would expect, Branden, Esralda, Orcis, and Lorene were working when those three arrived in their mansion, so they were ready to talk.
Rain conveyed to his friends the observations and insights he'd gathered during his ti away. He started by expressing the joy of finding everyone in good health and hearing about their recent victories, which brought a sense of satisfaction. However, he then described how things took an unexpected turn that made their situation increasingly challenging.
Rain shared that the most perplexing revelation was the concept of the dragons arriving from beyond the sky, a revelation that seed beyond the realm of their imaginations. This unexpected and otherworldly aspect of the dragons' origins added a layer of complexity and difficulty that was hard for them to fathom or prepare for.
"Things are starting to look ridiculous…" Esralda said while rubbing her eyes. "Forgive for having a hard ti believing in all of this."
