Rain took the cursed shield outside, and he decided to get rid of it by using his flas to burn it. The tal began to charge with energy under the intense heat, but the cursed shield held its ground.
Determined, Rain grabbed his dragon teor daggers, which had sharp edges glowing with an otherworldly red light. He carefully carved patterns onto the shield's surface, scratching it. The tallic clashes echoed as the daggers cut into the enchanted shield.
The voice inside the shield, resisting its destruction, seed to weaken. Rain continued to scratch and mark the shield's surface with the enchanted daggers, creating fractures in its magic. The shield couldn't withstand the combined force of his flas and the daggers.
The voice within the shield surrendered, silenced by Rain's persistent efforts. As the last traces of resistance faded. With a sense of accomplishnt, Rain put out the flas and examined the shield.
"Speak," Rain said. "Unless you want to get a hole through this teor dragon knife."
"I am not sure who I am, I just woke up after you used a couple of tis. At first, I was just a will, that made you feel angry. Basically, my anger was trying to take over your body."
"I guess I will put a hole in you," Rain said. "The bullshit amnesiac nonsense is a terrible lie."
"I am not lying, my guess is that I was sealed in three parts, I can only be completed with the spear and armor, after being used together for a while, I should be able to recover my mories. I will lose them if you damage my vessel."
"Another convenient lie," Rain said.
"It isn't a lie, you should know that the spear made so of the sea emperors go mad. The spear has the desire to control the oceans and free it from the dragons. Those who didn't have enough ambition or knew their limitations or were too weak, lost their minds after using the spear. You should know that you felt like you could defeat all the dragons when you had that in your hands."
The voice from the shield was right. Rain recalled the tis when he unleashed the power of the emperor's spear, feeling an unrivaled strength coursing through him. The mories were vivid, especially when he went all out, cutting through dozens of sea dragons in a matter of minutes. The sheer force and precision of the spear made him an unstoppable force on the battlefield.
Despite the dark influence the shield had, Rain couldn't deny the effectiveness of the power it granted. The strength he gained from wielding it was unparalleled, allowing him to face formidable foes and erge victorious. Was it a double-edged shield? As the cursed nature of the shield threatened to consu him in return for such power.
"Got it, I won't use you anymore. I will just borrow the spear from Seadrei and bury you under a massive block of cent," Rain said.
"I apologize to whispering those words to you, I have a grudge against the dragons since most likely, they sealed on the shield."
"Apologies refused," Rain said.
Rain had a good feeling about Isa and she warned him about the shield and items like that. At the sa ti, the shield tried to tempt Rain with power as soon as they began to talk… that thing couldn't be trusted. Still, Rain couldn't let that fall on anyone's hands and he had the feeling that now the shield would be able to talk with anyone after awakening.
Another thing that Rain realized was the fact that the shield wanted Rain to kill more dragons… revenge shouldn't be the only reason… Maybe bathing it in blood would free the shield as well. Rain could only assu that the corruption of the dragons and the cursed power of the shield were both troubleso things that could cause more trouble than help.
"I am on your side, as such, I should warn you that the dungeons are about to break. At the sa ti, the monsters can end up creating more of them in other parts of this land."

The fundantal drive of all living beings to survive and multiply struck Rain as a realization in that mont. Reflecting on the history of both this world and Earth, he couldn't help but contemplate the intricate nature of life. "I think that is weird that you know that and yet you don't know who you are, hence, you can't be trusted," Rain said. "Keep quiet unless you want to beco a kid of a pan."
The shield knew that Rain was talking seriously, so it went quiet after that. The dungeons were a problem, but there wasn't much that he could do about them so he decided to focus on what he could do.
When morning ca, Rain's wives felt troubled when they saw him with the shield on his back, but they didn't say anything and in the end, he decided to spend ti with his kids until mid morning… still, he had to stop a bit sooner than that when he heard the reports of the two groups of the raging Phoenix approaching from the distance at the sa ti… the groups of enemies were planning to attack the capital at the sa ti…
