Seadir nodded before leaving the port town. With Rain's and his friend's knowledge and their rapid growth, they could make the sea folk army recover from the losses that they suffered during the war and at the hands of those who joined the enemies side.
After that, Rain wondered how the traitors would benefit from joining the dragons' side… they would be seen as lesser beings, so it was truly suspicious, but maybe the dragons would share so valuable knowledge with them.
"I am not one hundred percent sure, but I guess the dragons aren't involved with the guy working with the magic people or this demi-human, or the human who attacked the magic people and the beast people," Rain thought and then groaned. "Ugh… it is so annoying to have enemies and not know who they are exactly…"
A few days later, Rain confird that the sea dragons returned to their territory. However, they were still working in groups and guarding the borders… they could attack again as soon as they find an opening or co out with a new strategy, but it will be hard to say when that will happen since the sense of ti for the dragons was hard to grasp, to say the least.
"You are the leader of the military operations here. What do you think we should do now in that regard?" Orcis asked when the whole group was having lunch together.
That wasn't the best ti to ask that when Rain was feeding Sealyn so soup and feeling quite relaxed, and the other kids were around as well, but it was a ti when everyone could share their thoughts so that it couldn't be helped.
"Let's see… I think that this place needs so walls, but it will be hard to make the ships co and go," Rain said. "Not like ordinary walls will stop flying dragons. I guess the best option is to fill the coast with ballistas and giant crossbows. We can do that with the dragons' parts too."
Rain and his companions decided to remain in the port town for an additional week. Their primary objectives were to ensure the town's safety and to oversee the construction of the ballistae and giant crossbows they had planned.
This extended stay allowed them to confirm that there were no imminent threats from the dragons and to bolster the town's defenses further, providing the residents with so peace of mind. During this ti, they coordinated the construction of the powerful siege weapons, preparing themselves for the battles yet to co.
During that ti, they received reports from the south being attacked by Kraken dragons, but only that… the other sides of the kingdom were fine. During that ti, Rain didn't have ti to focus on the tunnel toward the demi-human county, but he wanted to finish it soon.
"Using that to surprise the dragons will be useful, too," Rain thought.
During that ti, Rain also cooked a bunch of dragon at for the warriors, and since he used so high-class ingredients, naturally, he maxed out the Cook path… Rain wondered how Gila would feel about that… Regardless, they sent so at for all of the camps so she will have the chance to cook it as well.
The Cook's path reached the max level.

"Can we check things with Dad now?" Seara asked.

Rain was deep in thought, but Seara still stopped him since her patience had reached the limits… it made sense. They all have been busy lately, and she wanted to talk with her father before returning ho. Although she could visit him every day after just traveling for a couple of hours, that wasn't the best option.
"All right," Rain said and then saw everyone looking at him. "Why don't we go together then?"
Aside from Rain, Seara, and Sealyn, the others hadn't seen the underwater castle yet, and since things had cald down, perhaps that was a good chance… Rain was a hit since Jori and Reca kids were a bit noisy, but it would be fine if he kept their wind spheres sound proof.
"That is fine by ," Jori said. "Even though I don't have many good mories when I left Rain control my movents, it should be fine out of battle."
Everyone nodded as well, so Rain brought everyone with him, even Orcis and Lorene. The group was filled with excitent as they laid their eyes on the underwater castle for the first ti. Even though they were a large group, the inhabitants of the city welcod them warmly. The locals were extrely grateful to Rain and his friends because their actions had brought the warmth of the water waters.
As they entered the underwater castle, they were t with cheers and smiles from the sea folk. The underwater world was a captivating sight, featuring colorful corals, exotic sea creatures, and beautiful architecture that seamlessly blended with the surrounding ocean.
The residents explained how the sea dragons had been causing problems, and Rain and his friends had helped bring balance back to the region.
They were pretty grateful, even though they should know that a lot of the sea folk joined the enemies side…
