Seadrei wondered if Rain had finally beco arrogant… he could recognize Rain actions as the sa he did a while ago thanks to the feeling of power. He expected that Rain would do better than him in that regard, but it was hard to say for sure now.
Regardless, it didn't take long for the first ice dragons to appear in the distance. Everyone readied themselves to face them, but Rain just watched the whole thing with his arms crossed… he should have at least passed the spear back to Seadrei, but he left it on his back with the shield.
"Rain, use the Seals," Seara said. "And fight with all of your might."
"... Got it," Rain said.
Rain was feeling confident, for many reasons and thus, he didn't think that he would need the power of the seals, but he unsealed them anyway. Rain didn't feel anything when he undid the first seal, but when the second was opened, he felt his mana pool increasing… it was already full, so that puzzled him.
The feeling was different than usual… it wasn't like he would be able to use all that when he uses his own, he felt like all that mana could already be used.
"So, that is what you two have been doing lately…" Rain said. "Well done… I guess I can truly go all out against these things."
Rain used Impulse and his kick had been so powerful that it made the whole city tremble while leaving a crater on the place he had been before. In the next mont, Rain appeared one kiloter away punching a ice dragon in the face with a giant ice arm that was three tis bigger than himself, smashing the skull of an ice dragon.
The creature was also using the ice armor, but that didn't protect itself. In the next mont, the giant ice arm began to fall apart and Rain felt his arms being healed faster than usual as well…
Seara and Terra had made significant enhancents to the seals that Rain used. These improvents involved harnessing the power of Greedy Vows, although the precise theory behind it remained a mystery to Rain. The practical effect was impressive: when the seals were inactive, they could accumulate and store mana.
This stored mana would then be released when Rain decided to open the seals. As a result, Terra's healing abilities improved, allowing her to nd his injuries more quickly. Additionally, Seara's contribution to the seals ant that they could gradually replenish Rain's mana reserves over ti.
These improvents were a significant boon for Rain, enhancing his sustainability in battle and granting him the ability to recover more efficiently from injuries. The group's resourcefulness and ingenuity continued to be a valuable asset in their ongoing struggles against the dragons.
They were getting stronger as well since they gained part of the experience that Rain got, so that wasn't all that bad.
Thanks to that, Rain felt even more confident and began to charge at the dragons and smashing their heads on the sa way… but after killing the fifth, all the mana ended.
"Ah… that is right," Rain realized. "She only accumulated a few days worth of mana. Of course it wouldn't last forever."

While the dragons were enraged, they knew that Rain wanted to protect the port town, so the last five flew toward it and began to fire countless ice spears as they approached.
In the end, Rain used Limit Breaker and then threw the spear toward Seadir, the weapon passed by the dragons and Seadrei grabbed it, although he was pushed backward for several ters.
"... He used all the mana already," Seara said while blinking. "How hard were those giant ice fists for him to use the mana that I stored for two days?"
"You can ask him that later," Seadrei said and then raised his spear.
Several blasts of water erged from the ocean and then hit the dragons and stopped them from firing more ice spears… he didn't try to block the spears themselves since he wanted to see the power of the raging phoenix.
Half of the five hundred warriors that stayed behind were on the coast with their shields raised and used Limit Breaker and Magic Boost to increase their defensive power. Still, the impacts of the ice spears were so powerful that they pushed them backward as a group for several ters.
The sound and the impact could be felt throughout the entire town, so the inhabitants knew that the dragons had finally arrived.
Still, while the warriors felt their bones cracking and their shields freezing, they didn't drop their guard. Dozens of ice spears hit the port town, but they didn't destroy a single building.
At the sa ti, the other half of the warriors that stayed behind began to fire the harpoons at the dragons… they were surprised to see those projectiles crossing hundreds of ters of distance when they had heavy chains attached to them, but that was sothing for another ti.
The dragons danced around and avoided most of them while moving to one side to the other… the harpoons reached them, but their speed was quite low, and that was the problem… Still, Seadrei used his spear to control the waters and envelop the next harpoons that were fired and then made them pierce the wings of those dragons.
The dragons roared in agony as blood began to fall from their wings, and the inhabitants of the town felt like their lives were over… their thoughts got darker when they heard powerful impacts as if so buildings had fallen and they just waited for the sweet release of death, but that didn't happen.
The screams of the dragons echoed around the town, but the sound of impacts ended after not so long. Still, they didn't leave their houses until morning, and when they did that, they found dozens of dragons on the port and it had stopped snowing too.
