When the following day ca, Rain nodded to himself in satisfaction when he saw that eighty percent of the warriors were back to normal. The technique that Rain decided to call Starving Recovery helped them quite a bit since it at least doubled the mana, health, and stamina Regeneration, and that was the result… they woke up feeling pretty hungry, so the na made sense.
One hour later, the warriors assembled outside the town. This ti, they had five thousand on their side. Their force wasn't complete, but it would do… Rain looked confident, but anyone else from a distance wouldn't be able to understand why.
"Why do they have to look like this?" Terra asked while frowning. "This isn't very hygienic."
"You should know already, and it is for the sake of the victory," Rain said. "I want to exterminate all the monsters before I have to leave. I can't wait for Dad to send a ssage since I know that he will avoid on doing so."
Roan decided not to ask for Rain's assistance, knowing that his son was already shouldering a trendous workload. He wanted Rain to have the chance to unload so of that burden and take so well-deserved rest so he would refrain from seeking his help for the ti being.
Terra could see that… everyone knew how much of a workaholic and training junkie Rain was, and they wanted to help him as much as possible. When everyone was ready to move, Rain looked around and saw Seara with the kids behind once again. She looked like she wanted to help, but she also knew that they needed a leader behind and soone to look after the kids, so she didn't want to complain.
"Advance!" Joris shouted when Rain raised his arm and then pointed forward.
The warriors of the Raging Phoenix charged toward the enemy base with a sense of determination and focus. Their boots pounded the earth as they ran, creating a rhythmic and thunderous sound that echoed across the area.
Each warrior moved with a sense of purpose, their faces set in a steely determination. Their formation was disciplined, maintaining a tight and organized front while keeping the sa pace, ensuring that they presented a formidable and united front to their adversaries.
They didn't rely on magical enhancents like Impulse, Limit Breaker, or Magic Boost at this mont; their sheer physical prowess and determination were propelling them forward. As they closed the distance to the enemy base, their war cries filled the air, a deafening battle anthem that struck fear into the hearts of those who opposed them.
After one hour, the warriors of the raging phoenix reached the battlefield, and the enemies scouts around hidden watching them couldn't help but frown. The enemy scouts found the warriors after an hour, only to find them seemingly undeterred by the long and grueling run.
Despite the absence of the one hundred-kilogram weights they usually trained with, the warriors appeared remarkably fine by the extended sprint. Their breaths were steady, and their expressions remained calm. Experience more content on empire
However, the scouts couldn't help but notice the nurous bandages covering the warriors' bodies. Though they appeared physically sound, these battle-hardened individuals clearly bore the marks of the recent conflicts. The bandages were a testant to the fierce battles they had faced.
The scouts, though puzzled by the warriors' seemingly suspicious appearances, remained cautious as they observed this formidable force advancing relentlessly toward their base. The true extent of their power and strategy would soon beco apparent, after all.
So of the scouts looked at each other and then left in a hurry to alert their leaders. At the sa ti, the sli-like monsters began to move toward the raging phoenix to stop their advance.
The landscape quivered underfoot as an imnse horde of orange giant slis jumped toward the warriors. With each leap, the ground trembled and shook, sending quakes through the earth and creating quite the spectacle. These massive slis resembled enormous, bouncing mountains, their sheer size and resilience making them troubleso adversaries.
There were five thousand of them, their orange, gelatinous bodies undulating as they propelled forward. The warriors gazed upon this remarkable and daunting sight, realizing they were about to face a truly a difficult challenge on the battlefield. While they had never faced a creature like that, and they didn't have any idea how to kill it, Rain told them what they could do.
"Only half, huh?" Rain stopped moving and watched his warriors passing by his side.
The best way to deal with monsters like that was to enchant weapons with elental properties. Rain and Liss could do that, but could they enchant five thousand warriors with their mana pool? No. Even if Rain used the second seal to use Seara's mana, it wouldn't work, and he didn't want to reveal such a trump card like that. So, he ca up with another solution…
It didn't take long for the warriors to et up with the orange slis. The sound of the impacts had been quite sothing since it had been a mix of bounce and muffled sounds… Although the warriors looked motivated and itching for a fight, they quickly began to be pushed back… fortunately, the ones from behind were quick to realize that and gave room for the ones on the frontlines.
The warriors stabbed the orange slis with their spears, and while they took so chunks of the monsters bodies, it didn't even make the monsters flinch… the slis didn't have cores either, so they didn't have any clear weaknesses. They also had a high immunity to physical attacks, pain was an unknown thing for them.
While seeing the warriors struggle, the scous barely could see Rain's expression in the distance, but they could tell that the warriors were trying their best… they just weren't strong enough to deal with those beasts. Not even the magic people knew how to handle that… so they assud that it was their chance to win.
