"Since the warriors are training mainly Limit Breaker, we should let them learn how to make the most simple potions for ergencies," Rain said while he was preparing to leave again. "That could save their lives when the dungeon breaks since they will be able to heal themselves instead of waiting for us to heal them."
"I will add that to their training regin," Terra said.
"I am off then, where are my goodbye kisses, beloved wives?" Rain asked.
"I think Sealyn is crying again, I am going to check on them," Seara said and then left.
"It is ti for the training session of the kids, so I have to get going," Terra also said and then left.
Rain shrugged and then sighed… they can be so bashful at tis. Seadir watched the exchange and didn't know how to react to it.
"Are you going to fly as fast as possible?" Seadir asked. "There is sothing I would like to talk about."
"Sure, why not?" Rain asked.
While they were crossing the underwater tunnel, Seadir explained what Rain already knew. He also believed that soone poisoned his father during that battle… and his guess was that soone was working with the dragons in order to take his place. He wasn't sure if it was one of his siblings or soone else; it seed that he wasn't that good at identifying potential threats within their realm.
"Are you that bad at finding suspicious people, or are they that good?" Rain asked while frowning.
"I believe that it is for both reasons," Seadir said. "You know how my father dislikes politics, that is why he trained to beco more of a warrior than the others who had been more free in their upbringing and as such, they turned more to the side of Politics."
"I guess it makes sense, why would he pick you particularly, though?" Rain asked. "Now that I think about it, Seara is pretty strong when it cos to magic."
"Well, he trained us both since we are the youngest of our siblings and we are the kids of his last wife as well," Seadir explained.
That was one unexpected revelation that brought a sense of realization and even a touch of guilt. Rain had only recently co to understand that Seara and Seadir, his brother-in-law, shared the sa mother. The sea emperor, their father, had many wives, and as a result, multiple children from different marriages.
This newfound knowledge gave Rain a fresh perspective on the complex family dynamics within the sea folk society. He felt a twinge of remorse for not recognizing this familial connection earlier, but the intricate relationships within the sea emperor's family were far from straightforward, making it easy to overlook certain details.
"So, you think that since you two probably are his favorites, if sothing happens, they will go for your head and Seara head at the sa ti?" Rain asked.
"Yeah… I disappointed Dad quite a bit with my lack of talent, but he still likes more than my older siblings," Seadir said. "It can't be compared to how much he likes her, though. I think that if they want to enrage him and make him not think straight, they will target Seara and Sealyn. I can protect myself, but Seara is a bit naive, you see."
"You should just ask so people to investigate those troublemakers, once you find them, I will make them disappear instantly," Rain said.
"I am already doing that, but I don't have many people that I can trust," Seadir said. "That is why I want you to keep your guard up. I don't want sothing to happen to Seara and Sealyn for obvious reasons and I also believe that you and father will destroy our kingdom if you get enraged. So this is also a form of damage mitigation." Explore more adventures at empire
"I understand," Rain said.
That was one of the reasons why Rain disliked politics, those who are good at that ga couldn't be disposed off until they do sothing troubleso. Still, it seed that the underwater society of the sea folk also needed so cleaning up, but Rain couldn't do much until they truly did sothing.
Regardless, Rain had so other ideas on how to be stealthy underwater, so he decided to teach that to Seadir once he returns in order to help him find the ones that could beco enemies in the future.
In any case, after they split up, Rain began to fly upward… as much as he could… until the dark began to get dark around them. He was almost leaving the atmosphere of that world.
"Maybe this telescope won't be enough…" Rain thought. "This atmosphere is quite sothing."
Larger planets tend to have thicker atmospheres. This is because the gravitational pull of a larger planet is stronger, allowing it to retain more gases. Small celestial bodies like asteroids and moons often have very thin or negligible atmospheres, if any, because their gravity is not strong enough to hold onto gases.
The interaction of a planet's atmosphere with solar wind and radiation can strip away its gases over ti, leading to a thinner atmosphere. Planets with strong magnetic fields are better protected from this loss.
Temperature can also affect the thickness of an atmosphere. Higher temperatures can cause gases to expand and beco less dense, leading to a thinner atmosphere. Conversely, lower temperatures can result in a denser atmosphere. Considering how cold the southern region was, it made sense.
Rain had to fly upward for 150 kiloters for that to happen, so he imagined that this world was a lot bigger than Earth. Putting that aside, Rain completely sealed off his ice chamber because he didn't want to risk being exposed to space radiation. He believed that having a strong body wouldn't be enough to fight sothing like that.
That world was a world of magic, but Rain still believed that magic and science didn't get along well. Better safe than sorry...
