And sohow, against all odds, his willpower began to take effect. It was as though his resolve cast a powerful wave of light through his mind, pushing back the encroaching darkness and allowing him to regain control of his own self. He had thwarted the shadow's advance, asserting his dominion over his own being. After taking a deep breath, Rain focused on the surroudings.

Though the exact nature of this shadow remained a mystery, it was clear that his determination and inner strength had played a pivotal role in his victory against the threatening it. However, that scared him quite a bit…

"What the hell was that…" Rain though. "I can't, or I am not allowed to use the spear?"

Rain didn't have ti to think about that either… the sea Dragons began to fire nurous blasts of water toward him. The first few reached him and pushed him away dozens of ters as he spun in the air.

Out of reflex, Rain used his shield to block the attacks, and he was surprised to see that he didn't feel anything when he blocked them… He regained his balance, but the shadow began to cover his eyes again.

"What the fuck? Again?" Rain thought and then considered throwing the shield away.

When Rain let go of the shield, the shadow vanished… but when he grabbed it again, nothing happened. He didn't know why, but he was starting to understand that the power of the shield was the sa source of the shadow.

Rain shook his head and put the shield on his back… only the spear would do for the job. He was interested in the armor as well, but Rain decided to stay focused and not get greedy… who knows what would happen if he tried to equip that as well. Not like he had the ti to take that out now.

Rain looked in the distance for a mont and then saw the empty cage and no sea dragons there. It seed that the relics were a lot more important than making Seadrei suffer. Regardless, with a guy of that size, Seadir will need at least a couple more minutes to leave the base.

"He still will need to escape through the air… since there are other sea dragons around," Rain thought. "Co to think of it, they might be coming right now… I have to get closer to that hole already."

Rain considered using the spear to call forth the legendary Pokemons… the legendary monsters under Seadrei's control, but he didn't know how much mana he would need to do that. In the end, he decided to stick to what he was good at.

After charging toward one of the sea dragons, Rain slamd his armor agaisnt the creature, and the impact pushed it several ters backward. When Rain slowed down, he checked that he didn't suffer much damage, but soon, the sea dragons around fired nurous water blades at him.

Rain froze the water of those attacks and imdiately created dozens of curved ice blades… that gave him one idea… in the next mont, Rain raised the spear and then made the water around him spin and in less than three seconds, Rain was surrounded by a water cyclone. He added more mana to the spell, and then the water cyclone beca an ice cyclone.

The pull of the spell was so powerful that the sea dragons began to freeze as they approached it. Still, Rain didn't get any experience… they began to collide. Against each other, and while that knocked them out, that also freed them from the ice.

"This consus too much mana," Rain thought. "I guess it is ti… might as well make good use of this whole ss."

Rain undid the spell by firing the ice blades in all directions. The blast also pushed away all the sea dragons around and wounded them.

When the creatures looked at Rain again, they opened their eyes widely since he had vanished… but in the next mont, one of the sea dragons began to freeeze and then they saw Rain standing at the top of the head of one of the sea dragons and in the next mont, he covered himself in a thick layer of ice.

It seed that Rain had a death wish, but soon he began to control the body of the sea dragon with the ice and forced the creature to swim to the hole. Just when he arrived there, Rain found Seadir and Seadrei leaving the tunnel… Seadir had courage, since he jumped in the mouth of the creature without hesitation.

"This isn't a horse, stupid system…" Rain thought as they began to cross the giant hole.

Although darkness was covering them, Rain still could see hundreds of sea dragons chasing them… perhaps he should have tried to kill more of them to scare them off, but Rain was using too much mana. Besides, he knew that sothing else was going to happen, and that did happen… Enjoy exclusive content from empire

While they were escaping, Rain saw countless sea dragons coming from the opposite direction… the sleeping dragons joined the fray.

"I guess it can't be helped… First Seal, OFF," Rain said.

In the next mont, Rain suddenly felt a warm and radiant wave of power enveloping his entire body. It was as if a soothing, revitalizing embrace had washed over him, infusing his very being with newfound strength and vitality… it was the sa thing that he feels when Terra heals him.

In an instant, the weariness that had previously gripped him began to dissipate, replaced by an overwhelming surge of energy. Rain's limbs felt invigorated, and his senses sharpened with an almost electric intensity. It was as though he had been bathed in a fountain of rejuvenation, and every fiber of his being thrumd with newfound life and power.

"Second Seal, OFF," Rain said.
