Before teaching the others the basics of the void aspect, Rain decided to let all the lords learn as well, but he only taught them two skills. Void Annihilation and Abyssal Empowernt... they didn’t have to ask what he wanted them to do with that, and they gladly accepted it.
"When you guys are done teaching each other this, I want you to teaching the others your best techniques to the others outside," Rain said.
"And those would be..." Hardt said.
Level 100: Light Speed - Attain mastery over Light’s magic. With this ability, you command the full power of light. You can enhance the speed of your attacks and movents using light magic. Each Level grants you the power to cross distances of one thousand kiloters per second. Wisdom requirent: 110.000
Level 100: Shadow King - Attains the pinnacle of the Shadow King Path, becoming a master of seductive combat, strategic allure, and commanding skills, exerting control over the battlefield with unparalleled shadowy prowess. Each sin further enhances one of the paraters: Wrath for strength, Envy for vitality, Greed for luck, Lust for dexterity, Sloth for endurance, Gluttony for wisdom, and Pride for intelligence.
Rain had to explain the shadow king skill to Hardh because he actually hadn’t unlocked that skill, and he didn’t know about it either... that was confusing. Sothing like that hadn’t happened before, so Rain wondered if the overseer.
"I can’t teach what I don’t know..." Hardt said. "However, it is said that so of my people in the past suddenly beca much stronger after they obtained full control over their corrupt energy... I imagine that this skill is what they had obtained. They never managed to explain this, and to think that soone else from another species pulled of..."
"If that is the case, the overseer obtained that when we analyzed your essence..." Rain rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "So people have that kind of natural trait; others don’t. Even so species don’t have it, it seems."
Rain didn’t level up that skill that much either... but soon, he confird its effects when he equipped it. It could increase his paraters by the Level of the skill multiplied by each Level of the skills of the sins and the paths, so the bonuses were quite massive.
"... I guess I will give you a hand with that," Rain said. "I will teach you Magic Sacrifice to level up the skills of your path in order to obtain this one and study as fast as possible. Even if it is a racial trait, there should be a workaround."
That was quite the good offer for Hardt... Rain also decided to do the sa with Loar to make both of them more useful. That should make the others even more motivated to gain his trust and beco more useful.
Using the previous thod, both of them learned the skill in less than one hour, so soon, they began to improve their skills in order to understand them better and teach the others.
"All right... what should I do now?" Rain rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
Rain pondered the recent developnts and the impact of his plans on the group. He couldn’t deny that his efforts had already yielded significant benefits for everyone, paving the way for growth and improvent. However, amidst the flurry of activity and the constant demands of leadership, he couldn’t help but feel a nagging sense of responsibility weighing on his shoulders.
As he considered his next steps, Rain realized that it was ti to shift his focus inward to concentrate on his own strength and abilities. After all, as the vanguard of their group, he had the brunt of the dangers they faced on the front lines. If he was to effectively lead them and draw the attention of the machine gods, he needed to ensure that he was strong enough to withstand whatever challenges lay ahead.
It wasn’t a matter of selfishness or neglecting his responsibilities to others. Rather, it was a recognition of the pivotal role he played in their group dynamics and the need to prioritize his own developnt in order to better serve their collective goals.
"Shall I improve Origin Punch or develop another technique," Rain thought. "If the next enemy is Ateros... I have to co up with a way to counter his aspect... not like I didn’t try this before."
Rain thought that he would have so idea or inspiration, but nothing ca to mind even after a while. The only thing he knew was that the Ateros would have access to the best materials in the universe, and he would be able to craft gear and weapons with it. In theory, it would be better to use those materials to develop an army... but Rain didn’t know if Ateros was the kind of being who would focus on that.
"His best material should be the dark tal... even after this long, you are still holding well in the battles," Rain said.
"In exchange for that, my aura rarely changes, and it feels like it is getting worse," Elisabetha said. "Not that I mind as long as they all end up dead. Anyway, while this one could be the current easiest target, he might be an issue against you. You can’t use Energy Absorption against physical attacks. You might be able to absorb the kinetic energy, but perhaps you won’t be able to do so before you are destroyed."
Rain didn’t consider that... it was hard to tell what the Ateros could do, even if it was to level up the Matter weave Path. It only had three skills. It was all that the overseer managed to learn from them so far... probably because of the dragon god.
Eventually, Rain gave up on the idea of coming up with a plan after a couple of hours... Maybe he would have so flash of inspiration eventually, but it was no use forcing himself. For now, he decided to train and incorporate the power of the void into his fighting style.
