Hilo’s body looked completely normal despite the power of the punch... he quickly resud his previous stance without any issues. Rain imdiately understood why... just like Hilo could cancel or delete an experint, he also could cancel or delete damage. It was like the ultimate version of Mana Shield.
Level 55: Mana Shield - Create a protective shield using mana to absorb incoming damage. Higher levels grant you the power to cancel damage more efficiently and more damage.
Using a similar effect, Hilos used all of the void knowledge and Energy he had accumulated in that dinsion to make sure that his existence would never be threatened. Still, sothing was off... Why would he go that far when he was supposed to be waiting for the end?
"When can you use an attack of that level again? If you hit with that again soon, my existence would be in danger. I never thought that I would fear death, but this is quite exciting!"
Rain raised his eyebrows... Hilo’s attitude changed quite a bit. Rain knew that so quiet people tend to be quite the freaks in so aspects, but he didn’t think that Hilo would find pleasure and excitent when his life was in danger.
"You don’t know? I guess, considering your mana recovery speed, your mana pool, your health Regeneration, and stamina regeneration, by my calculations, you will be able to launch an attack of the sa level in six hours. This is a bit disappointing... I should also recover a considerable amount of energy in the anti, so perhaps you can kill with the third hit."

For all Rain’s bluster and attempts at misdirection, Hilo saw through his ruse with alarming clarity. It was as if he could read the subtle nuances of his body language, deciphering the truth hidden within his carefully crafted words. And though Rain may have thought himself as clever, Hilo knew better.
At that mont, Hilo couldn’t help but feel a surge of annoyance at Rain’s feeble attempts to deceive him as well. It was clear that he was trying to bullshit his way out of the situation, hoping to buy ti....
"I can’t let you do that... So, I will do exactly as you said in hopes that you will truly show how resourceful you are. Please, don’t disappoint ."
Hilo charged at Rain and then, for the first ti, tried to punch him. Rain kicked the air to move away while saving his mana, but soon Hilo caught up with him and then slamd him with his massive fist... Rain blocked the attack with his arms and soon paid the price for it.

Rain clicked his tongue in annoyance. The direct attacks of the machine god were even more annoying than the indirect ones. Still, another massive punch approached him, and then Rain used Origin Punch alongside Energy Absorption.

The blast of the attacks pushed Rain away from the area, and when he waited for the next attack, Hilo stopped and studied him thoughtfully while holding his chin.
"I see it now... feeling your skills directly certainly helps understand how co you are so tough. Using Energy Absorption to absorb kinetic energy during the attacks while causing and receiving damage... isn’t sothing that we would do since we want to preserve ourselves as much as possible, and damage can slow down our research. Hilo charged at Rain again to punch him with all his might... he was starting to like the fight in an unexpected way, and that only made Rain feel more annoyed. In the end, he had an idea, and then their fists collided again... the massive impact pushed Rain away and also made the dark ice around his fist crack, but then he summoned a compressed layer of Earth around his right fist.
That didn’t stop Hilo from attacking Rain once more... As Rain’s fist collided with Hilo’s once more, a shockwave rippled through the air, sending tremors reverberating through their bodies. The force of the impact was staggering, yet neither Rain nor Hilo yielded an inch, locked in a fierce struggle for strength and willpower.
Their bodies trembled and shook with the exertion, muscles straining against the overwhelming force of their collision. It was a clash of titans, an epic confrontation that seed to defy the very laws of nature itself. And for a fleeting mont, it appeared as though neither combatant would erge victorious.
But then, as Rain began to recover from the blow, a strange transformation overca Hilo. His once-purple form began to shift and contort, darkening to a deep, ominous shade of red. It was as if so unseen force was taking hold of him, twisting his very essence into sothing dark and malevolent.
