Hilo stayed silent for a while and considered the technique that Rain had just used... it seed like just a simple water magic attack that didn’t give the target a chance to defend itself or dodge since it ca from all directions. Even so, his minions were pretty good copies of the first dragons... no normal attacks would have damaged them that easily, so it was clear that there was more to it than it ets the eye.

After not so long, Hilo made another part of himself leave his body and this one was particularly pretty big. It soon assud the shape of a hydra as well... the exact sa shape of the dragon god that Rain had seen a while ago.

"Despite his deanor, it seems that he knows a thing or two to stir his enemies," Elisabetha said.

Now that Rain thought about it... It seed that these creatures were specifically crafted to counter people like Elisabetha, who possessed formidable skills in dealing with dragons. However, Rain found himself puzzled by a troubling thought: how could the machine gods, including Hilo, be aware of Elisabetha’s existence?

Elisabetha, with her unparalleled prowess in combatting dragons, was a relatively obscure figure in the grand sche of things. Her exploits were known only to a select few, and her presence was not widely recognized outside of certain circles. The notion that the machine gods could be aware of her existence and tailor their creations to counter her abilities seed unlikely, if not impossible.

The realization left Rain grappling with a sense of unease and uncertainty. If the machine gods were indeed aware of Elisabetha’s existence, it raised troubling questions and other possibilities.

In the next mont, the fake hydra opened its mouth, and then bombarded Rain with nurous beams of elental energy... the air began to vibrate with all that power echoing around. Rain used Impulse to the side, but a beam of fire followed him while a lightning beam approached from the opposite direction. At the sa ti, an ice beam began to create a cage from which he couldn’t escape, and it was dozens of ters thick...

Before things could get too complicated, Rain put his hands together and tried to destroy the heads of the creatures, but dark shields blocked his attack and completely erased the projectiles of his technique...

"That is the power of void, I guess..." Rain thought. "Should I try a bit harder and show so tricks too?"

Before Rain could decide that, one of the heads of the hydra suddenly summoned a dark Barrier around him, and then his body stopped moving altogether... it was a gravity trap that completely stopped him.

While Rain was trying to free himself, the heads of the hydra were put together and then opened their minds and began to charge their next attack... the atmosphere began to tremble and shake in response, and Rain was unable to move a single finger. Eventually, all of the heads attacked...

The massive Cannon of magic was a mix of all elental magic added with the power of corruption... dark flas, dark steel, dark ice, purple lightning bolts... all of them hit Rain at the sa ti, and then a massive explosion took place in the dinsion and made it shake for quite a while.

Lightning bolts fell around for several minutes while all the smoke and energy was spreading... in the end, Hilo found Rain standing while holding his sword that was emitting a lot of smoke... His arms were completely burned, frozen, and sliced up, but he endured the attack, and his wounds began to heal insanely fast.

"You took the power head-on, but it lost so of its potency in the last minute... I can feel the power of the souls of many dragons in it. It seems like a curious sword."

"Curious indeed," Rain said and then smiled.

In the next mont, the heads of the fake hydra suddenly began to fall... Hilo didn’t see that attack, so he imagined that Rain used the blast of the explosion to attack while hiding his technique... before long, the whole body of the creature began to dissipate.

"It was a pretty disappointing copy," Rain said. "That guy is annoying, but at least he has a lot more spirit than you."

"I suppose so. Is that supposed to be a good thing?"

"Who knows?" Rain asked.

Rain didn’t gain experience by killing that thing, but he was able to tell that the power of the creature didn’t return to Hilo. He was losing a bit of his void power at a ti, but the health bar that represented all of his capabilities was still almost endlessly stretching in the distance.

"He is a boring and unmotivated guy, and since that is the case, he wants to scare his opponents by showing how much they are far apart from him in terms of raw power," Rain thought.

Hilo soon confird that when he summoned a bunch of copies of the lords of the prison that Arel was controlling... their numbers were increasing quite fast, and Rain only had thirty or so when their original number was close to three hundred.

"Is this really your real plan?" Rain asked. "I guess you didn’t improve your creativity at all while you were here. Instead of just waiting patiently for the end, let speed up your end a little bit."

Hilo didn’t respond; he just made the fake lords fly toward Rain... with their sizes and the power of the sins on their side, they would wipe out Rain in no ti. However, they were stopped midway by a sudden flash of light that Rain used... the enemies were blinded for a mont, and then Rain summoned the lords from his pocket dinsion, and then the mayhem started...

Hilo went silent while seeing the start of the battle... he had heard that Rain and the others escaped the prison after defeating the other lords, but it seed that it wasn’t the whole truth.
